Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser Review

I bought this for my 11yo daughter to start her off with a good skincare regime. She's at the age what she's starting to get hormonal spots and this cleanser has been great at keeping them at bay. She loves the smell and the clean feeling she has after using it. Definitely on to a winner here!

I love, love, LOVE the way this product feels on my skin. Morning Bust was a brilliant title whoever thought of it. The tingley sensation it provides is fantastic! I do find that if I use it too regularly it dries my skin out quite badly though. How ever as a person with sensitive skin the light citrus fragrance is pleasant yet doesn't irritate my face like other products. I only use the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser 2 times a week sparingly (you don't need a lot - it goes a long way).

I really like this cleanser from Clean & Clear. A lot of their cleansers don't agree with my skin but this one was an exception. Its super affordable and you can also purchase it from the supermarket. On applying I really like how the beads in the cleanser burst when you rub it on your face, I feel it wakes me and it leaves my skin feel refreshed and awake. Its awesome value for money and one bottle of 240ml lasts for months.

I have oily/combination skin and this really works well to control oil too. I feel like I am ready to start the day after using this cleanser. I usually follow up with the moisturizer in this same range. It has a nice citrus scent to it that makes you want to get going and start your day!

I wake up every morning and use this cleanser, i love the way my face feels so invigorated after using it that when i don't use it i can notice the difference. I prefer this to other cleansers on the market. It does seem to clump up a little bit in the spout though

I always use Clean & Clear products and I never have any problems with them, the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Cleanser was a slight exception though. I find this product good as it doesnt dry my skin out and it leaves it feeling soft but I have found that if I use this product for long periods of time I start to break out a little. It is a good cleanser if used less frequently though.

I have oily but sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts and I loved this product. I purchased this on special so got it for a great price so and it's a large bottle with a lot of product in it which is always a bonus.

The smell is pleasant and definitely great for the mornings to wake you up, but il also use this in the evenings. I find when I do this it takes off my makeup well but generally need to double cleanse to make sure I remove everything.

It leaves my skin refreshed and clean without leaving it dry.

I use this everyday. Cleans and refreshes my skin without drying it out which some products tend to do. Removed makeup as well which is a bonus

I've owned this cleanser for quite a while now and I'm sad to say that it is because it is too harsh for my dry skin. I would not recommend this for people with dry or sensitive skin as this cleanser can sting your face and make it drier than normal afterwards. I've had to apply a thick layer of moisturiser to my face immediately after using this to prevent the drying effect it leaves.

However, it does do what it states on the bottle. This cleanser does wake me up with it's invigorating citrus scents. It smells like zesty oranges. It does give a good deep clean. The bursting beads are also great for an awakening affect because they do freshen up your face - plus they're fun to burst with your fingers.

One concern that I do have is that many reviewers are commenting that these beads are exfoliating. They are not exfoliating. Very few beads are distributed every use (around 4 beads per use) and they are soft beads that burst in your fingers thus releasing awakening vitamins.

My final verdict is that this cleanser is great for freshing up your skin. The beads are fun to burst on your face and the smell is pleasant. For those with particularly oily skin I would recommend this. The price is reasonable and it's one of the cheaper products that you can easily buy at the supermarket. But, for those with dry, sensitive or normal skin - stay away! This product has a harsh and severely drying after-effect. If you do happen to buy it, make sure you don't use it everyday and apply a thick layer of moisturiser immediately after use.

I really like this cleanser and found that it actually did "wake" my skin up. When I use it in the morning, coupled with a splash of cold water when I cleanse my face, I feel like it freshens up my skin and while it does give my skin a real burst to wake it up, I'm not sure that it look any brighter but just feels more fresh. It's as if my skin has had a morning coffee already to wake it up. My skin no longer feels tired like it is when I first wake up.

I also love the smell of this cleanser. Even though it is a "fake" orange smell, I love the citrus scents in the morning. In saying that I am a sucker for citrus scents, so if you are not into citrus scents then this may be a little overpowering and strong smelling for you. The pump is easy to use and distributes a good amount of product out of the nozzle. It's also easy to control how much you need,as I find I only need about half a pump sometimes.

I have combination oily skin and find twit this cleanser is good at removing excess oil and dirt built up over night. I like the bursting beads as they gently exfoliate the skin while not being too harsh. I found that this cleanser wasn't too drying on my skin, but if you have dry skin the exfoliating beads may be a bit too harsh

I found this product did not make a difference to my face - I used it until it was all used up as directed but didn't notice any improvement to my skin.

Would not use again.
