I love that this product is natural without any harsh chemicals or fragrances. My sensitive skin didn't react to it at all! and it did moisturise really well but I found it was so thick that it took a very long time to absorb and felt very heavy on my skin.

Tips: Maybe best for use on feet and hands?
So pleased I tried this while looking for a super-moisturising product. Really makes a noticeable difference to dry skin, even dry/cracked heels. I was looking for something lower price but this lasts ages so well worth the price, & knowing there's no nasties in it makes it so much better. I've used a thin film on my face as a night cream over the summer to help reduce ageing effects from the summer sun.
Tips: Great for extra moisturising for lips too.
This body butter is SO good if you have super sensitive skin - it doesn't burn, it smells nice and it helps to relieve dry skin. Definitely would recommend.
A few things first off that I love about this product. New Zealand made, no nasties in it and very little scent. Cover wells and leaves my skin looking well moisturised and even like I have a bit of a tan - go figure that one - amazing. Apparently that is because I have age spots - never mind have to have something going for me. Seems to last a long time as well. Maybe I like it because our mother use to smother us in olive oil when we were younger. Like the packaging nice and simple.
Tips: Buy it
I bought this incredible stuff from a Pak n Save in Wellington and only paid $15 for it. Initially I thought that this was quite expensive however it was worth every cent. Thick and a little tacky, this white butter absorbs really well and is so intense that a little massages in a long way. Pleasantly scented with a light citrus fragrance, it smells clean and fresh but unobtrusive. It shouldn't clash with your perfume. Very generously sized pot, as you don't need much, it lasts quite a while. So far one pot has lasted me 6 weeks.
Tips: Apply after showering or bathing to damp skin. You don't need much.
This is my most favourite body butter ever! It is just so easy to smooth on and it works a treat especially on my winter skin. It absorbs quickly and easily too.
I was gifted a container of Eco Store Moisturising Body Butter. The packaging is basic and inline with other Eco Store products. The container is 100% recyclable.
After showering I apply a minimal amount of body butter. There is a light fragrance and the consistency is VERY thick and tacky. I have normal skin. Upon massaging a minimal amount - I almost felt like I am 'dry rubbing' my skin. I found the Eco Store Moisturising Body Butter very unpleasant to touch and apply. I use other body butters/moisturisers (without an issue) and was disappointed with Eco Store Moisturising Body Butter. It does not easily absorb and left my skin looking patchy in parts as though I had a light zinc on my skin. I guess it eventually dissipates as by this point I am getting dressed - or it just goes on my clothes?
It is the most unusual moisturising application experience I have ever, ever had.
I love the idea of Ecostore products and thought my dry skin would appreciate this body butter. My skin definitely benefited from using but it did not melt into my skin like other body butters have and I needed to massage well into my skin. It seemed a little heavy and did not give me that luxurious feel like other brands although I did like the light scent .I do like that is only natural ingredients and does not cause my skin any bad reaction and certainly does help my skin if it is going through a particularly dry stage.I would by again for when my skin needs extra care between seasons.
Tips: Massage well in and absrbs easier after a warm shower or bath.
I love every single Ecostore products I have ever tried and this is no exception. I love the thick formula as it keeps skin smooth throughout the entire day without the need for reapplying.
I love that there are no nasties in the formula and the packaging is nice and simple, in keeping with the ethos of the brand.
It is quite thick and can take a while to rub in and dry, but that's what makes it so good for your skin.
Tips: Because it's more expensive than your average skincare products, I only use it every few days and 'top up' with other moisturisers on the other days. Just give it a go and see what works for your skin type.
Ecostore body butter is such a treat for dry hands and feet as it is super thick and creamy! I love how it isn't perfumed. It is also good value, I have had my tub for months and still have a wee bit left.
Tips: If you feel like treating someone special, give them a foot massage with this stuff.
