SKIN by ecostore Regime

The packaging of this set is great; all matching in design, but three very distinct different packaging types. The cleanser is a large pump bottle, moisturiser a smaller pump bottle and the night cream in a screw lid pot.

All three products have different ingredients but each have a similar smell, which it very pleasant but also very unique. The colour is a slight earthy, off white shade.

I love having a separate day and night cream, I enjoy knowing that they each have a different purpose. I imagine my night cream to be soaking into my skin as I sleep to make my skin youthful and glowing!!

I have been using all three of these together, the moisturiser in the morning, then the cleanser and night cream before bed.

I find this skin care set to be very hydrating, comfortable on my skin and very pleasant to use. I really enjoy the way my skin looks and feels and will continue to use all three of these products.

I have only tried a few Ecostore products before but nothing from their skincare range.  So when I was selected for this trial I was super stoked. I received a cleanser, moisturiser and night cream. I started using the products as soon as they arrived.

All the products come in a cardboard box which has all the ingredients and a stunning image on the side which is supposed to depict the Marlborough Sounds where the marine extract is sourced, very cool.

Cleanser: It comes in a handy pump bottle with 140ml of product and is a light beige in colour. It is quite thin and you definitely don't need to use much. I use this in the morning, I like to wet my face in the shower then massage this all over. It smells great and does a fantastic job at cleaning my face. I don't get any irritation at all and no horrible tight feeling.  Just clean, fresh skin.

Moisturiser: The bottle has a pump which I love and holds 50ml of product, the moisturiser is a medium weight and a light beige in colour. A little definitely goes a long way with this. It smells amazing! It has a lovely kind of powdery scent.

I have sensitive and dry skin so have to be weary as new products can burn and cause a serious irritation. This passed the first test! Not even the slightest tingle woohoo. The thing I find annoying about moisturiser is sometimes they can be sticky, I absolutely hate a sticky face. This moisturiser is brilliant and dries down super quick, almost instantly.

I can apply BB cream or foundation right away and it glides on so easily. It sits so well over the moisturiser and my skin stays matte which is another thing I love. I apply this in the morning and it keeps my skin hydrated all day. My skin feels beautifully soft and supple. It has not caused any breakouts at all.

Night cream: It comes in a jar with a screw on lid and holds 50ml of product, it is not overly thick and is a light beige in colour. It smells devine, a subtle powdery scent.

I hate when a night cream feels greasy and heavy, this is the total opposite. It sinks in so well and dries so you don't even notice it on your face, I love that! My skin is sensitive and dry and I get no irritation at all from this. I find it super nourishing and when I wake up in the morning wow my face looks great, so soft and radiant.

Together these all compliment each other and give me the most amazing looking skin. I am super impressed with this range and I am in love! The ingredients are effective and I look forward to seeing the long term results.

I really liked these products. They had beautiful but simple packaging that I thought deserved leaving on the counter top. The fragrance was pleasant and would be at home in both a man or woman's skincare routine. All three products delivered on their promise to hydrate in a natural way. What more could you ask for!

After my last experience with a more natural skincare I was a bit put off trying a range of natural skincare. I brought a whole set and it took forever to use up along with the fact I felt it did nothing for me. But I was so impressed by this range.

I have used the oil in this range before and loved it! So was excited to try a few more items.

The cleanser surprised and impressed me the most. It was gentle and effective. The handsome pump bottle is handy no fluffing about screwing lids. Easy to use with a nice small creamy cleansing action. I had just had an allergic reaction to something I had previously used so had not been using anything so this was such a good way to ease back into using skincare again. Very gentle and great for sensitive skin.. I did patch test though as usual and they do recommend testing it also.

The moisturiser I couldn’t wait to use morning and night. I did use it twice a day but it was gentle enough to use and didn’t clog up my skin. Really impressed by this also. I do feel like I would use this faster than my old moisturiser it is quickly absorbed so work fast.

The night cream was such a great cream for keeping the skin hydrated. I would wake up in the night and touch my skin - I’m still feeding my son at night so am up a lot.. and it was so soft and smooth. It felt dewy but not greasy. I repurchased the oil to use at night along with this as this is one range I am pleased to say worked for me and the products complement each other so well. The goodness range for example didn’t work so well together I enjoyed the oil not the cleanser etc.. so to have enjoyed this whole range is impressive.

I was amazed at how much smoother my skin was after using this regime after just one day. The convenient pump hydrating cleanser left my skin feeling cleansed and smooth without that tight feeling. The hydrating moisturiser was light and quickly absorbed with no greasy after feel. I noticed my skin was more supple & radiant. I did however find that makeup application over this moisturiser wasn't as good as my previous moisturiser. The night cream was superb. The consistency of a light cream left my skin feeling fully nourished and noticeably smoother. The light scent of the products was pleasant and I found that a little bit went a long way. Overall the three products used together left my skin feeling comfortably nourished, much smoother and more radiant. Such wonderful results for an affordable price. I highly recommend this regime for a normal to dry skin.

I used three products in this skincare regime - Gentle Cleanser, Hydrating Moisturiser and Replenishing Night Cream. The cream cleanser is a rich and creamy lotion cleanser. The moisturiser is nutrient rich - absorbs quickly into skin and leaves you feeling suitably hydrated set up for the day. The Replenishing Night Cream is a slightly heavier cream - set to restore and renew during the course of the night while you sleep.

All three products showcase lots of lovely New Zealand Ingredients including seaweed, grapeseed, harekeke extracts and kiwiseed and jojoba oils. These ingredients are great for promoting elasticity which is wonderful for dry, normal or mature skins.

The cleanser and moisturiser both have a pump so you can meter out the right amount to use so no waste and its lockable for traveling. I loved the glass container that the nightcream is packaged in giving it a sense of luxury.

Across the range the fragrance is the same which makes the products feel like they belong together. The smell is herbaceous and marine -like without being invasive, just kind of smells like a nice day at the beach!

I think these 3 products work well together, the routine is not overly complicated and makes me more inclined to use as 2 steps is pretty manageable ie Cleanse and Moisturise in the morning and Cleanse and Night Cream before bed.

Its easy to get hold of as I can purchase from my local supermarket. I think the price point is good value for money at $19.99 per product. After trying these I think I would definitely like to try the Facial Oil and the Exfoliater which are also in the range. I love being able to support New Zealand Made and Made from New Zealand Ingredients.

As I already have been using this product and had just run out I was super excited to be chosen to do a review on it.

Already in love with this Hydrating Moisturiser and all the goodies it contains like NZ seaweed, harakeke extracts & kiwifruit seed. It goes on smoothly and is gentle on my skin and fantastic to use under make up as its not at all oily and dries quickly and only a small amount of product is needed each time. Also has a light smell to it, which I love as it is not overpowering and is very natural smelling.

Comes in a good sized plastic recyclable bottle of 50ml which is pump action and I can tell you from my last bottle it lasts a fair few months. Great product that I will continue to use.

I was so thrilled to be selected to trial the ecostore SKIN Regime. I have been using the ecostore cleanser, moisturiser and night for over a week now and I am very pleased with the results. The products are lovely and effective to use each by themselves but used together they produce optimal results. My skin has become noticeably softer, more hydrated and visibly firmer and brighter. I have a healthy glow as opposed to looking tired. All the three products come nicely packaged in pastel coloured tubes and tub. There is an understated elegance about the packaging. The products are lightly fragrant and very easy to dispense and use. There is no sticky or greasy feeling upon application and the skin feels softer, smoother and bouncy to touch. I love these and would definitely buy and use again. It’s lovely to find such gems that are locally made.

Ecostore are a brand that I had heard of in relation to eco-conscious household cleaning products, but I was not aware that they made skincare products too. Their brand is cruelty free, and all of their skincare is branded in green and white: with green and white containers, and green and white boxes with the image of orange sunlight filtered through green water on one side.

I have dry, sensitive skin. Both the moisturizer and cleanser in this range are designed for “normal to dry” skin, whereas the night cream is for “all skin types.” Although I enjoy the night cream, I prefer the moisturiser and cleanser as they are more suited for my skin type. The night cream is still very rich, but it has a slightly drying, almost clay-like quality at the same time. I think it would work very well for combination and oily skin types.

All three contain seed oil and seaweed extracts, as well as avocado oil. All are mildly scented and beige in colour. I think the colour of the products speaks to them being less processed than other brands, as they have not tried to make them white. The colour may be off-putting for some, but these products definitely do the job. They do not irritate my skin, and my skin feels soft and moisturised after using them.

If you have sensitive and dry skin, I definitely recommend giving the moisturiser and cleanser a go. Those with oilier skin would probably find the night cream very beneficial.
