Essence is of the essence of girls on a budget. (See what I did there?)
I first discovered this range while overseas a couple of years ago and I fell in love at first glance. They have the prettiest cosmetics and each couple of weeks they bring out a new limited edition range, whether it’s a movie-inspired range or just a season-inspired range.
They have a huge selection of products, from nail polish to eyeshadow to our very faithful friends, the mascara.
I love the packaging, each mascara looks and feels wholly different from each other. This one is especially intriguing with the fun design printed on it.
The formula is great, not clumpy and the wand does wonders to separate your lashes without the need for any twists and turns or Googl-ing how to use it. It does lengthen them and add volume, but not as much as you’d get from a Benefit mascara per se. It does still do a great job in itself though!
I would recommend that everyone try this brand, as it’s as cheap as Jordana but maybe a bit more luxurious.
I went out and brought this mascara by Essence as I had heard good things about this brand and also I was in the market for a new Mascara. I saw this one at low cost so I grabbed it to try out.
It claims to provide lashes with extra volume, additional length , a breathtaking curve and coating every single lash. All this Mascara did for my lashes was coat every single lash and seperate them. It did not guve me much volume or legnth. Nothing too special. Good for the price but it did not live up to my expectations. Also It smells very cheap.
Great if your on a budget and you just want to slightly define your lashes.
Tips: Good buy if your on a budget and if you need a mascara to seperate your lashes
