This is lovely. In my experience of night creams they tend to be over oily and over bearing (Oasis Beauty Sleep excluded as it's my fav!) But this one is coming in a close 2nd. It feels scrumptiously night creamy as you scoop some onto your fingers but as you smooth it over your skin the slight heaviness absorbs easily, leaving a fab dewy, nourished but light feeling on the skin. It smells good - natural not lavender though - which is why Beauty Sleep still wins but I've only been using it for a few nights but I certainly have noticed that my skin is enjoying the treat and there's no puffy eyes that some night creams have left me with - even when I haven't put it around my eyes?!

Tips: Combine with a serum or night oil for that super charge - we can all benefit from - now and again!
I got this product in the ‘It’s all about you” Best Beauty Box Ever. I was happy to see it, as I quite like Goodness products, and I very much like night creams.
It comes in a small pot (60ml) with a screw top. The product is thick and white, and has a mild scent, similar to other Goodness products I’ve tried. In fact it is exactly the same scent as the every morning moisturiser. While it isn’t my favourite scent, it isn’t horrible.
I’ve been using the product every night after washing my face. In spite of being quite thick, which I like by the way, it is actually very light when you apply it. I find it absorbs quite well and doesn’t leave any residue on my skin – just the mild scent. My skin feels nice in the morning, but no better or worse than other products of similar type.
It is very good value for the price though and if compared to products in the same price range, would most definitely be superior. It’s just that, since joining BR, and even before, I’ve had the pleasure of finding and trying some very very superior creams, but they were much pricier.
I notice other reviewers have scored it at around ¾ and that is also my feeling. It was very good but not fabulous. I think it’d be a great product for people who are moving into using night creams for the first time and/or who don’t have such mature skin that they yet require very dense and heavy night creams like I do. Having said that, I’m happy to finish the pot (which I nearly have) so that is a compliment to the product. And, (confession) I've bought a second "it's all about you" BBBE, so I have a second pot of this night cream to use!
I really love this product! This cream is so rich and creamy that it is really satisfying to put on and doesn't leave my face feeling tight at all.
I love that it is in a tub rather than a tube, means I can get every little bit of it out. It spreads beautifully and I found that I had less blemishes after a week of use.
The scent is also really nice and I have loved making this a part of my evening routine - relaxing!
I really love this cream, it's thick but doesn't feel heavy. Its going to last me a couple of months because you only need a small amount. It spreads nicely and evenly for its thick consistency. I probably would not have bought this if it wasn't on special because it costs more then what I would normally spend on a night cream, but it is definetly worth the money and I will buy it again when I'm out. Also in love with the spf day cream from Goodness.
Im using this night cream at the moment and finding it quite nice and light with all the heat we have been having and the warm nights its nice to not have something to thick on your face like other night creams. There is something about face cream in a jar thou isn't there and i quite like it, almost gives it an expensive feeling. It has a very faint scent more like a clean honey smell and just goes on nice. My skin feels good in it and this is actually the 2nd jar I've been through so i do find it really good!
I picked this up in a 'Try the Range' kit from Farmers, which was around $20 for the scrub, oil, lotion, cleanser and this night cream. I intentionally bought it for travel. I therefore have this product in a 25 ml sample size.
The Goodness Every Evening Cream comes in a brown glass jar with a soft orange label and a black plastic screw cap. This is fine, because as you apply it at night you generally have clean hands post cleansing of your face, and so my usual aversion to open product doesn't apply here.
The cream is a very thick white, and you only need a dot about the size of your pinky fingernail to cover your face. This product does not have the parsley-ish scent I noticed in the cleanser - it's a lot more subtle and neutral.
I actually rinsed this off my face the first time I used it because it felt ODD. It almost felt like my skin was absorbing it and plumping up instantly, and I didn't like it. I tried again though, and that sensation settles within ten minutes and skin starts to feel nice, smooth and hydrated. There isn't a greasy residue.
When I wake, my skin feels nice and hydrated - but I have had a couple of morning pimples (uncommon for me) since I started using this product. It's also coincided with stress and not so great eating, so I don't entirely blame the product, but I did notice it and wonder.
If it weren't for the odd post-application sensation this would have gotten a solid 4/5 from me - but I'm not a huge fan and am considering passing it on.
Tips: Definitely see if you can get the trial kit first x
First off a little about my skin so you know why what happened and you will also know if it applies to you. I've got oily combination skin, which means that across the cheeks, forehead and nose it is oily, and around all the other areas it is dry. So I have to be careful to balance out my skincare products to cater for each. The Goodness range had me super interested and when I won a full sized jar of their evening cream which claimed to have all natural ingredients that were blended for the goodness of your skin I thought it was going to be the best night cream.
The packaging of this product is cute, and from what I have seen the whole Goodness range has a cute, put together packaging theme that makes them highly desirable for me, being the pretty thing hunter that I am. Inside the outer box there is the rounded tub of cream in its' smoky brown semi opaque plastic with a large orange label slapped around it's body, complete with a black plastic screw lid. Also in the box with a lovely letter from the Goodness team about the product and social media outlets.
Formula wise this cream is quite thick, white with hardly no fragrance too it. It applies evenly but does take a well to absorb which worried me as I only put a small amount on, as you do with a new product, you don't' want to go too heavy handed as you don't know how the product will react with your skin. Even as I climbed into bed there was a greasy feeling and shine to my skin. Next morning as I rinsed my face I noticed that it had a film texture which I assume was from the moisturiser. Nothing happened that day or the next but on the 3rd day up popped a pimple and oddily not in the oily area, it was on an area of dry skin. I kept with the cream but decided to blot my face a little well after use to remove any unabsorbed excess. However the pimple got angrier and produced a couple of friends so I stopped using the cream. Started double cleansing for a week to detox my skin and haven't gone back to the pot of cream since. I feel it is too heavy for my skin.
This would suit someone who has dry skin to very dry skin as it is really thick.
At first I didn't like this cream at all but it did grow on me. It is quite a thick cream which I guess is good for an evening cream as it can sink in over night. However, I feel like it might of been too thick. My skin felt greasy after using this product. I would not recommend this product for oily or combination skin types. I love the packaging of this product though and the whole goodness range so was quite disappointed by this product.
I named this cream my skincare product of 2015 on my blog so it's pretty clear that I really, really like it.
Goodness are owned by Trilogy so that already gives the brand some credibility in my eyes. As a bonus, they're even more affordable.
This is quite a rich cream but I still found it wasn't too heavy on my combo/oily skin. You can definitely 'feel' it on your skin when you first apply it, but that doesn't bother me, especially as it's a night cream so I'm not likely to be putting makeup on top of it.
I haven't found this breaks me out at all, which is great as my skin is quite prone to clogging.
I was lucky enough to win this pot of night cream from facebook last year. I finally got through all my current night creams and have currently been using this along with the day cream. Goodness is made with natural ingredients. My skin type is dry and ageing. I was looking forward to trying this as it had just launched last year.
This pot of cream comes in a brown 60ml jar. It looks like glass but its made of plastic. The goodness branding is wrapped around this jar. The ingredients are listed on it along with how to use this product. This cream is thick and white. It has a mild herbal scent to it. I like that there wasn't a greasy after feel like other herbal products I've tried.
When I apply this I normally cleanse my skin first then apply this cream generously over my face. My skin soaks this up nicely. It hydrates my skin nicely. I think it lacks anti ageing properties. I had no skin irritations or flare ups of acne at all with this product.
At 23.99 this is an affordable cream. So far Ive had three weeks use of it and its still lasting me quite a long time. If your wanting hydrated skin definately buy this.
