Sometimes you get so used to using a product, you don't realise how great it is until you run out! This is what happened to me and this joico duo which made me really appreciate the job it did in maintaining my blonde colour while keeping my hair soft and well conditioned. Highly recommended. Best shampoo for coloured hair that I've tried.

Joico Colour Endure Sulphate Free Shampoo and Conditioner Review
Joico Colour Endure Sulphate Free Shampoo and Conditioner When you’ve spent good money on a first-rate color service (we know full well those numbers are nothing to sneeze at), then doesn’t it make sense to go the distance and bring home a product that protects your investment? We think so… and that’s why we formulated this gentle Sulfate-Free Shampoo, designed specifically to extend your color vibrancy 33% longer than any other similar cleanser on the market. What’s more, redheads – the hardest hit in the fade department – will love the fact that it maintains their scarlet hue by a full 88%. (That’s not a number to sneeze at, either.)

I won a set of these, and as I had recently coloured my hair for the first time, decided to give them a try. Firstly, they are (as they claim) excellent at maintaining hair colour.
However for my fine, long hair, they simply have too much silicone. If I use silicon shampoos, my hair is always lank by the end of the day. It doesn't even need to build up, one use and that's enough.
I ended up giving it to a friend to use, and her hair looks fabulous, but it's thick, wavy and coloured, so much better suited.
Tips: Avoid using with fine hair.
About a year ago I had my near black hair dyed ombre, best decision ever! I 100% love my blonder locks but i also hate the tonal changes i have with having naturally dark hair. For a year i just used supermarket shampoo and conditioner with my Fudge Purple Shampoo and couldn't figure out why it wasn't making a difference. When i got my ombre touched up and re-toned my hairstylist suggested trying a salon branded hair range. So off i went into Shampoo 'N' Things where i met the most loveliest, helpful lady who encouraged me to try the Joico Colour Endure Range, so naturally i thought "treat yo self" and purchased the whole range and ive never looked back! My hair stayed a lovely light colour and the Joico Violet Shampoo banished the yellow tones completely! I 100% recommend this to anyone with dyed blonde hair - Its a lifesaver!
Tips: Definitely try the violet shampoo if you have dyed blonde hair! In my opinion its better then Fudge!
Went to my hair dresser and the conversation went like this: Stop dying your hair at home - check Stop using supermarket shampoo and conditioner
So i explain that i use head and shoulders because it seems like every other shampoo and conditioner makes my scalp go mental.
So she recommended this, and i dove straight in and paid for the big bottles. and it does the same thing and makes my scalp go crazy.
Smells lovely and my step daughter likes it but not for me.
Tips: Try samples before you buy!!!!!!!!
I have coloured red hair and its was expensive to get done so I like to try treat it right and and maintain it making this costly to, I read the description of this product and it sounded amazing but unfortunately it didnt work for me. My hair is fine and can become extremely oily so a good shampoo is essential for me but using this product I found I needed to wash my hair more regularly causing my colour to washout. The conditioner is lovely but the shampoo lets me down.
Tips: If you have oily hair get a sampler first, if you've already brought try shampooing twice.
I've been using the Colour Endure Violet shampoo as I have dyed blonde hair, and needing a violet shampoo to help with my hairs brassiness. I have also tried this shampoo previously in the normal colour endure shampoo. I love how this shampoo protects and maintains the colour of my hair, and I also find it really does help with the brassiness, and gives my hair a cooler tone. It says on the instructions to leave on 3-5 minutes, I would leave it on about two minutes but use it 3 times a week. My hair has been much easier to detangle after washing, and I do like the nice scent. I'm set for a wee while as I purchased this in the 1 litre size, so at least 6 months. I managed to get this for $30 on a online sale, so it is good to keep an eye out for those types of deals. I find this product definitely does what it says it does, and leaves my hair looking healthy, my hairdresser always comments how healthy it is looking too, so that is a big plus!
I use the Colour Endure shampoo, I am a redhead, so I find this keeps my colour looking fresh and vibrant for longer. Not having sulphates keeps the lathering down to a minimum, which is what I need. Sun fade in summer is bad, so the added UV filters in the shampoo is a must on those long sunny days. I do not use the conditioner, in fact I never condition my hair, I always use the K-Pak treatment in place of the conditioner, works a treat
Tips: I shampoo once only, the follow up with a K-Pak treatment in place of conditioner
I have tried a lot of high end shampoo and conditioner combos over the years and I expected this would be the same I would use once - like for the first month and then think it was pretty expensive for something I don't notice and rate it as good but not amazing. However my hairdresser suggested I ditch the conditioner for my fine hair. So I did when I dyed it and started using the joico color endure shampoo only. I was skeptical as I have been shampoo conditioning for the last 25 years so it seemed a risk. I was very glad I took her advice as my color lasted better than the last few rounds had (I put a base brown to hide the greys and red highlights). I found I could drop down to 2-3 days between washes instead of most days which probably helped the colour last as well. I would recommend trying for a few weeks as it took me a while to go down to using less product (because it doesn't lather and not shampooing twice). Definitely cuts down the cost for me but I will try the conditioner for special occasions now as I have bought a replacement combo. Honestly I would say any shampoo only keeps me happy for a year or so though so I will have to see if this one lasts through the next purchase cycle.
Tips: You might find you can ditch the conditioner.
I picked up this combo from the CS Factory Sale in Mangere. I was excited to try it out . I’ve always wanted to try Joico products . My hair type is coloured .
Each bottle comes in this red container . Labelling is easy to read . Consistency Is like liquid soap . I find the scent is musky but gentle .
I’ve been using it every second day religiously . I have noticed a difference with my hair . It feels softer and a bit easier to manage .
Price wise it is expensive. I wouldn’t normally spend that much on hair products. I think this one is good . It worked well. I can see myself buying this again .
I purchased this as a duo pack (larger than the review size, mine was 750ml I think), and got 2 packs for around $70. It's definitely money well spent. The packaging doesn't really jump out at you, I think they were going for something understated so the product could speak for itself but if you are a potential new customer this is probably not going to catch your eye on the shelf next to some of the other brands out there. The consistency is creamy and the scent is pleasant and not overpowering. The shampoo doesn't lather as much as some of the cheaper brands, but I've tried enough shampoos over the years to know that foam does not always equal performance. The conditioner is thick and creamy and you don't need to use much at all - this is probably the first time I've had a shampoo and conditioner last the same amount of time. Usually the conditioner goes first and I'm left with a heap of shampoo at the end :) I definitely noticed the difference in the longevity of my colour with this product. I colour my hair quite a rich red and this product helped it to last a lot longer without fading. Yes it is more expensive than the supermarket brands, but you get what you pay for in this case and because you don't have to use as much, in my opinion it works out more economical in the long run. Just don't let the kids get their hands on it! My first choice for colour protect shampoo and conditioner.
