This is a great hair treatment. When I was using it I used it alongside Joico K-Pak shampoo and conditioner. I used it slightly unconventionally because I would shampoo my hair, condition it briefly and put a wide-toothed comb through my hair to get rid of any knots, then I'd put the revitluxe treatment in for 5-10 minutes. This process was extremely effective at keeping my hair moist when followed by an argan oil in my mid lengths and ends. It did well at disguising my split ends, but it did not get rid of them (I am yet to find a product that truly does).
When I was using this product my hair was shorter than it is now, but it was still considered to be quite long (my hair is now very long). My hair did not get oily while using this product. I only needed to wash my hair about every four days (I now actually wash my hair less, mainly because it's so long and I can't be bothered). I did have dandruff when using this product with the shampoo and conditioner, but I don't feel as though it would cause or exacerbate dandruff when being used with other products as it would only be applied to the mid lengths and ends of your hair.
Revitaluxe treatment has a thick, creamy texture. Due to the product's consistency it can be more difficult to spread through your hair meaning you use more product than you probably need to. It has a pleasant, creamy scent. It does not smell 'shampoo-like,' which I appreciate.
The dark goldy/bronze and black bottle is quite classy looking. The bottle is an upside down squeezy tube with a flip top lid. It is easy to use, but it does hold the risk of the flip top lid breaking. The writing on the packaging is quite busy which can be annoying as it decreases the obviousness as to what the product is.
Revitluxe is an expensive product, retailing for around $30. I would most definitely use the product again if I was given it for free, however I would not repurchase it because I have found a salon treatment that I prefer to use in my hair.
...as they're trying to tell me! I've had a few of the 50ml tubes and I liked how handy they were, always came with me travelling and it's nice to have something a little luxurious, but it's not worth its price. It does have a very nice consistency, yellow in color and smells ok(nothing special). I tried it as mask before shampooing and also after as a conditioner, my hair felt nice and smooth, but I get the same results with some of my better conditioners. How could it repair years of damages? C'mon, I will never buy this product again, just because of the false advertising.
