Kiehl's Vital Skin-Strengthening Super Serum Review

There is no other word for this serum but; perfect. I am a long time keihls lover and gave it up when money got tight but this serum is one I will never part with. It goes on super smooth and is quickly absorbed. My skin has improved so much and fine lines have minimized. I have been getting compliments on how my skil is glowing from many people which is such a good feeling. I will definitely continue to use this serum and recommend it to others.

This is so lovely! The pump bottle is easy to use and disperses a good amount of product for the face and neck.

It's really easily absorbed and leaves no residue. It's so light and although not a runny consistency it's not a heavy oily serum either.

This promises to protect against stressors (I shall have to douse myself before my next MIL visit!) and to correct signs of ageing. I've definitely noticed fine lines looking less, and my skin feeling more plump overall. It makes my skin incredibly soft after use and also it creates a lovely even feel for the next layer of my skin care routine.

I can even use this without following with a moisturiser it's very moisturising and by itself leaves a great base for applying foundation.

I think this is a really super serum, perfect for people who want a basic all-rounder, and also for people who are maybe trying the serum thing for the first time.

This is a really nice, lightweight, hydrating serum. I used this as my night serum, and after about a week or so I really noticed that in the morning my skin would feel so much more hydrated and look really glowy. My skin can lean a little oily/combo, so I can be wary of products that claim to be super hydrating, but I didn't notice this product exacerbating that at all which was great. The product claims to reduce the visible signs of ageing, and I haven't noticed many of those effects yet, however it usually takes months of using a product before it's long-term effects can be seen!

This gorgeous little red pump bottle is the perfect intro serum for those looking to amp up their skin care regime a little.

The serum itself is milky coloured (not gonna lie...I was hoping for red!) and a lovely texture - its not super wet or runny, but also not too silky.

I applied after cleansing and using the Kiehl's Calendula Toner. It soaked into my skin and vanished without a trace!

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and its been really lovely and had a very positive effect on my skin. I feel I look healthier, brighter and less, well, sallow and tired to be honest!

I really have loved this trial team and the exposure to a brand I knew about, but had never actively considered or pursued. I'll be repurchasing more from Kiehl's that's for sure!

Since I have been using this serum I have noticed a big difference in my skins elasticity and texture. I use two good pumps and this is sufficient for full coverage of my face. It has a light texture and a lovely lingering fragrance, absorbing well as I gently pat it in. My face is feeling supple and wonderfully soft after twice daily applications, and the pump system is quick and efficient. Especially pleased to see that it contains the highly recommended Hyaluronic Acid which everyone is looking for these days. This serum has really given my skin a much needed boost and I feel that in the few weeks that I have been using this it has got a lovely glow and certainly much more supple.

This serum feels so soothing on application. It smells like it’s medicated but it’s natural. This product has made my skin so much more hydrated, sort to the touch and super smooth. I no longer have any dry patches around my nose and eye brows which is a huge plus. I love the fact it contains hyaluronic acid as that is a key component for great skin. I am 100 percent satisfied with this serum and will need to get more as soon as I run out.

So I always thought lotions and potions are a have and we are stuck with the skin we’ve got. This serum is wonderful! Lemmie start at the beginning! First of all the bottle is a cute little bottle that looks all official. The pump is fantastic for dispensing just the right amount of product. The serum goes on so easily and evenly and the smell is so fresh. It made my skin feel amazing. Not greasy and I could even wear it under my make up. But the real amazing thing was the difference it has made in my skin. I have terrible “turkey neck” as my sister puts it, where the skin on my neck is wrinklier than my face, and I swear this serum has reduced this by at least 25% so my neck looks so much less like a raisin! Easy to use and does what it says - fabulous!

I've only recently started using serums in my daily routine so I was quite excited to get my hands on this Kiehl's one!

First off, a pump top! No more trying to count the recommended drops with a dropper! Yay! 1 pump was definitely enough, but I found myself using 2 out of habit. It didn't matter though, it absorbs so fast into your skin and leaves your skin looking fresh and dewy. I was most consistent with using it as part of my nighttime routine. It is recommended that you use it morning and night, but personally I don't like to put too many products on my face in the morning. The odd time that I applied it in the morning, I skipped my moisturiser completely and just wore sunscreen on top. It still gave me the moisture I needed but without me feeling like I was layering on too much. The one thing I thought was a little odd, was the fragrance. For some reason the scent reminds me of the inside of an old First aid kit! So bizarre. It's not over the top or awful, just different from any other scent I've smelt on a skincare product before. I didn't notice any dramic results, reduction of pores/fine lines etc, but it did make me 'feel' like my skin was smoother and more supple to the touch. I can't wait to see if there are any results with more consistent use over time!

Another beautifully refreshing Kiehls product, it truly deserves to have the word super in its title. I love putting this on morning and night, the product itself seems to stay lovely and cool in its little red glass bottle and it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and soft. I find three pumps of the product sufficient to do my face and neck with the serum disappearing almost instantly into my skin. It has a lovely hint of cucumbers to it which just adds to it whole refreshing feel. Straight after using my skin feels soft and smooth and I have little doubt that with continuous use I would see a reduction in some of my fine lines. I feel the 30ml bottle would last me approximately 2 months which makes this product slightly more expensive then I would normally buy but if I do see reduction in lines and to continue having my skin feel as soft as it currently does I think I'd pay it. Overall love this product it truly feels like a little bit of luxury and if it continues to improve my skin texture I can see myself buying a replacement when it complete.

The serum comes in a boxed glass bottle with a pump applicator which it easy to apply the right amount. The serum has a pleasant scent (herbal berry?) and spreads easily as a light layer. It quickly soaks in so you can move straight onto the facial cream. So good to be able to speed through my night time skincare when tired.

I have tried a lot of different serums and this one is the first that has actually made me skin have a healthy glow. I have had bad hayfever and the serum has done a wonderful job healing the dry skin around my nose overnight. My skin is on the sensitive side and I was impressed that this serum was so effective, yet gentle. Its definitely worth the investment for healthy, glowing skin.
