Thank you BR for picking me for this trial. Out of all the 3 products, Day Cream, Night Cream and Eye Cream I loved the eye cream the best not only was it soft around the eyes it was fantastic for my lips keeping them moist so personally i would use it more as a lip balm than eye cream. The Day Cream I did not like it was too greasy for me caused Me breakouts which took a while to clear up. All of the creams smelt nice, liked the boxed packaging but the pots were just plain and boring looking, although the eye cream pot size was cute. I was disappointed that the whole regime wasn't for me, didnt notice any huge changes to my skin and unfortunately wouldnt recomend for oily/combo skin and i wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Tips: Not for oily/combo skin
Finding a good age-relevant skin care range is hard, so I was pleased to be selected for this trial.
The eye cream was first in order of application, and I used that every morning before the Day cream. It was easy to apply, absorbed quickly and my eyes didn't react. No discernable smell which was great. Although the skin around my eyes felt more hydrated, that was it. No noticeable difference in firmness.
The Day cream had a lovely texture and was easy to apply, once I gauged the amount I needed to use. My skin felt hydrated and plump and the effect lasted all day.
The night cream was quite rich, and less is definitely more in application. When I woke up in the morning my skin felt really hydrated and smooth. Tightness wasn't noticeably different nor was a change in pigmentation evident over the trial.
Overall this product range is good for hydrating and smoothing 50+ skin, but I didn't notice any change in pigmentation at all. Maybe it requires a longer period of consistent use, but it really did nothing in that respect.
I felt the products were very similar to other branded skin care on the market, and they didn't really stand out as having unique qualities for a 50+ woman. Great to trial but I probably won't use it again.
I really liked this regime - I just didn't see any of the pigmentation-fading or re-tightening that was touted in the packaging. Mind you, as a disclaimer, I only got to use it for 3 weeks and they say that you need to use these products for at least a month before seeing any noticeable results.
As a regime, it was very hydrating. I liked all the products - day cream, night cream and eye cream - and will continue using them until the jars are empty. I just didn't see any visible results that I can comment on. There were no contra-indications (it didn't make my skin worse), and as I said, they are very hydrating, it's just that they don't appear to have faded any of my pigmentation spots or tightened my skin any more than any other creams I've used.
I like the packaging, how pretty it looks, and the texture of all 3 creams is very pleasant. There is little to no scent, which I prefer, and my skin does feel plumper upon application. Unfortunately though, this doesn't make them any better than any other cream that doesn't make the re-tightening and pigmentation-fading claims. They're just good creams that do a good job of moisturising my dry skin.
I'll continue to use them all until the jars are empty (I would assume this will take 6-8 weeks as you get quite a lot in the jars) and then re-evaluate whether or not I would purchase the products again.
I like L'Oreal as a brand (their Hyaluronic Acid serum is the best I've tried) and I will always give their products a try because I trust them to not break me out or cause sensitivity issues, but I'm just not sold on this range in particular. It won't stop me repurchasing the brand though.
Overall, if you're looking for a good moisturising, hydrating regime to care for your aging skin, I would recommend this one. I just wouldn't set your sights too high.
Tips: Don't expect miracles and you'll probably really enjoy any benefits you do get.
I have used all three products for 3 weeks now, i'm not sure about the retightening of my skin, but they are certainly moisturising, and they all settle well into the skin. The eye cream is quite light, and i prefer what i was using but i really loved the day cream, if only it had an spf in it, it would be perfect. The night cream was ok, not quite as hydrating as the day cream. I will continue to use all three products until they are finished as 3 weeks is probably not enough time to get a good feel to how they are working. But i do love the Day cream and will definately repurchase this one!
Each part of the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Regime works well in themselves...although I had concerns about the day cream having no SPF protection.
I loved the eye cream and the night cream and will continue to use both. But my skin found using all creams as fully prescribed on the packaging was too much and I have had break outs. So will just use the day cream occasionally.
My skin, especially around the eye contour area, is more moisturised and nourished. The lightening of age spots is not obvious, but it is early days in the use of the regime and I trust L'Oreal's are correct.
Tips: Even if use 1 component of the regime, you will see results.
I do like to try a set of products together as I think when you are using the whole set you really get to see if it makes a difference. These come in white square containers that stand out in your bathroom cabinet. There is no smell which I quite like as you are not put off by a strong scent. These products are creamy and blend into your skin easily. My skin does feel smooth and soft and the fine lines around my eyes are less noticeable. I do like the fact that you are getting a wee collagen boost every day. I haven't noticed any different to my age spot, but maybe I need to be using the set longer. Will see if there is any noticeable difference by the time I finish the products.
Tips: Very easy to apply but make sure you don't use too much at once. Only need a little at a time. Eye cream does go a long way
I have recently trialled the L’Oreal Age Perfect Care Regime consisting of the Eye Cream & both Day & Night Creams. The cream’s come in attractive containers and a pleasure to have sitting out on display. All three products have a nice fresh fragrance and a soft and creamy texture which is easily applied without feeling at all greasy. I’ve used the Day & Night creams for two weeks and my skin is certainly feeling soft and nourished. A little goes along way so it’s going to last a while. Unfortunately the Eye Cream gave a burning/stinging sensation so perhaps not suitable for everyone. In regards to Anti-Sagging / Anti-Age Spots I honestly haven’t noticed a lot of different. Overall I believe if you’re looking for a cost effective skin care regime that will leave your skin feeling nourished then I would definitely recommend giving L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect ago.
Tips: A little goes along way
This is a lovely package of quite affordable lovely creams. They are easily absorbed and a little goes a long way. Overall my skin feels softer smoother and more consistent. Dry patch’s have gone. Rosacea has improved. I havnt seen a huge improvement in wrinkles but it may take more time. Pleasant packaging and fragrance.
EYE CREAM Like most of L’Oréal Paris' moisture products this is a good all round eye cream. Created for mature skin it's a tiny bit thicker in consistency than others in the range I've used but not overly, and doesn't feel greasy or heavy. lt glides on nicely and has a barely detectable fragrance, so not overpowering in that regard. This product has collagen and claims to firm and retighten skin. After 10 days or so of using this, I am happy with the result; the skin around my eyes looks plumper and the lines less obvious.
DAY CREAM I am a little disappointed in this day cream by my favourite skincare brand L’Oréal. Yes, it is designed for the more mature skin but I find it far too heavy for a day cream. It’s not easy to apply and to be honest I can’t find a lot of difference between this and the night cream consistency wise. It also does not contain a SPF which is an absolute must these days. However, once on it seems to do the job okay and my skin feels hydrated all day.
NIGHT CREAM I’ve found over the years that the older you get the heavier the moisturisers seem to get, They don’t necessarily nourish your skin any better, and quite often you're left with a heavy, greasy residue after struggling to apply it as it's so thick, which is not a pleasant experience.
So, it was a happy surprise to try this night cream. lt's not thick, and it glides on easily, and is not greasy and in the morning my skin still felt nourished and hydrated and looked it. lt has a very subtle fragrance and comes in the L’Oréal Paris signature square glass jar, which l also love as the lid is flat and you can stack them on top of each other.
REGIME Created for 50 plus these formulas contain Collagen Amino Acid Fractions which claim to visibly firm and retighten skin, plus a melanin block which helps reduce age spots and pigmentation, so I’m looking forward to seeing more results after a bit more use. L’Oréal Paris don't test on animals which is a big thumbs up from me too.
I have used the day and night creams plus the eye cream in this range. Overall I have enjoyed these products - particularly the day cream and eye treatment. The night cream I found a little underwhelming - it just felt and looked the same as the day cream to me, including the container. I've given a lower score on would you recommend as I think skin care in particular is tricky and you need to consider your own skin requirements. However for general use and being a well priced product I give this care regime the thumbs up.
