L'Oreal Color Riche Volume Matte Lipstick (vault shade sent at random)

I need to start off this review by saying that the packaging on this lipstick is lovely. It's thin, matte black and has a velvet feel - very luxurious!

I chose the shade Le Wood Nonchalant because it made me think of a 1990s earthy shade, which I liked very much back in the day and still do. I was not disappointed. The colour suited my skin tone well and had excellent opacity. Even better, the formula applied evenly and felt every bit as moisturising as it claimed it would.

On first wear I did find the lipstick clung to some dry parts of my lips and wore off unevenly (thankfully it reapplies evenly, so it's not a big deal), so I made sure to exfoliate my lips before I wore it again, and this made a huge difference in wear and look.

My only negative? I wish it lasted a little longer on the lips. It did tend to come off as soon as I had a coffee or something to eat, which meant I had to reapply more often than I like. Had it had longevity it would've been the full five kisses from me.

Overall though, this is a good-looking lipstick, that smells nice (a bit fruity) and looks good on my lips. I would definitely consider purchasing another shade.

Overall decent product. Packaging is very nice, looks very classy. Colour looks nice but pinker on the lips than I expected. Nice colour but only lasts for a couple of hours on so need to reapply. I prefer lipsticks that are not matte as my lips are generally pretty dry. I would use again but probably on top of some lip balm.

I opened my package up very excited about this lipstick and my first impression was wow! I love that’s it’s slim sleek packaging & it’s matte. It feels luxurious and the fact that the lid clicks into place so it won’t get lost in your handbag. I then opened the lid and seen the actual product and was impressed! I love how the top of the lipstick had an R indented in it. When I first put it on I was not expecting it to glide onto my lips the way it did, it felt amazing! It’s super light and my lips felt pretty good, it did dry down and I could feel my lips getting a little dry but that quickly past, it’s something I can deal with. It claims to be transfer proof but wasn’t for myself. However it has lasted all day and I’ve touched up once. So overall pretty happy with this product and would love to purchase more shades!! Definitely a makeup artists dream with the size of it! You could fit so many into your kit compared to other brands.

The casing on this lipstick is quite sleek, with a rubbery feel to help with grip. Like the little branding (R) on the top of the actual lipstick. Haven't seen that before.

This lipstick is matte, so you can choose the matte look or apply some lip gloss for a shine. It does say it is infused with Hyaluronic Acid and ArganOil to help lips feel moisturised all day but I found this lipstick really highlighted when my lips were dry.

The colour itself was good. I could choose a little bit for a lip tint or a full application showed a nice rich colour. I found the colour lasted, but definitely needed to be reapplied throughout the day. Applied easily with no bleeding.

I really love the formula of this lipstick - it's very matte, but non drying. The finish is smooth and silky, not dry and flakey.

I found it relatively easy to apply, I am a bit meh with lipstick in general haha, so I used a brush for accuracy and began with an invisible liner.

It wore well through the day and i wasn't self conscious - you know sometimes you can just feel your lipstick isn't right? Like you feel it caking or tightening or rubbing off? This doesn't happen with this.

The only reason I marked it down is I wouldn't go for the colour I chose again, it was less nude, more brown, but I am eager to try the Mauve shade!

I love the slim line bullet - it makes application a dream - you can be precise, but also fill in with gusto.

It's a very smooth, pliable formula, you don't have to swipe hard across the lip to get good colour payoff.

I'm not sure what the volume aspect of this product is meant to be - it doesn't plump in appearance and I don't feel any plumping effects.

The colour finish is beautifully matte and it does last well. I touched up after eating and drinking, which is to be expected I think, and touching up was easy. I didn't need to remove the leftover lipstick before applying a fresh coat.

For ease, matte-ness and longevity this is a hit!

First of all, the packaging is very luxe it reminds me of more expensive lippys and I like the logo stamp on the lippy itself. The colour I got was gorgeous. In terms of no smudge or transfer, it definitely did have some transfer and I assume that would be the case because it's not matte which I love as it's very hydrating. It didn't last 16 hours, I ended up with a "lip liner" looking lips at the end of the day so definitely needed to reapply. Unless you're not planning to eat or drink anything I don't think this is as long lasting as the claims. I did love it and would for sure use it again.

I absolutely loved the colour 480 Le Plum Dominant, it was a deep rich colour that really pops and looks lush, along with having perfect coverage on my lips and made them feel hydrated. Whilst this is a great long wearing lipstick, unfortunately for me and my lips I didn't get the no transfer or smudge and left a trail of lip marks for the first few sips on the glasses I drank from and if my hand or a piece of clothing touched my lips a little trace of plum followed. I did try applying it with dry lips, moisturised lips and letting it dry for a couple of mins before smooshing my lips together to see if it changed the transfer/smudging, but either way I was like Gretel leaving a trail. In saying that though I will continue to use it and buy other colours as I loved the deep rich colour soo much and as previous mentioned it does stay looking good and feeling hydrated on my lips for quite a few hours.

First of all, the packaging is so pretty and elegant. It's quite lightweight too and looks luxurious. I love that the lipstick has added Hyaluronic Acid as it keeps lips soft and doesn't dry. I also like that it feels light on the lips and for me it lasts around an hour. I am bad with keeping lipsticks on so that's a good result . I got the shade 188 Le Rose Activist and it's a beautiful natural color. Overall this is a yes from me
