I had never felt a need to use a lash serum because my lashes are long and I've always been happy with them. I was really curious to see the results of one so excitedly accepted this trial team opportunity. It was a big commitment. I needed to apply this lash serum twice a day for 60 days. To be honest it very easily became a part of my skincare routine. I left it in a prominent place on the vanity in the bathroom and I only forgot to apply it a few times over the whole time. The packaging is quite simple, not overly fancy or complicated but its perfect for the job. There is the brush at on end and a twist dispenser on the other end. I quickly figured out that two turns per application was the right amount. Sometimes in low light it was hard to tell the ends apart since they are both silver. The brush is what you would expect and the serum itself looks like a clear gel. It goes on easily, just brush it on and you're ready to go. I used this twice a day for the whole 60 days and there is still product in there. I am interested to see how much longer it lasts for. The price is really reasonable compared to other lash serums and makes it really affordable when it easily lasts the two months you need to start seeing results. Now for the outcome! I have to admit I wasn't expecting much. I was already pretty happy with my lashes, they were a decent length and I've never worried about it before. I took before and after photos and there is a very noticeable difference in length and the amount of lashes I have. While they were long enough to point up at the ends before you can see on the comparison now that they curl around at the ends. I have so many more lashes now that when I've put mascara on them it looks like I have falsies or extra lashes on. It has become easier to put mascara on and get better results over the trial period and that's something I would never expected. I am really pleased with how well and noticeably this lash serum has worked and since it is so reasonable I will be purchasing it when the trial one runs out. It's become a natural part of my daily beauty routine.

Tips: Whatever you do try not to get the product in your eye. I managed to a couple of times and it stings!
I had been reading lots of reviews and articles about lash serums on BR so when a trial popped up I put my hand up right away, when I got an invite I was super excited! It comes in the form of a pen, one end has soft white bristles and the other end you simply turn until it clicks to release some serum. The directions are on the box it comes in. Simply apply to lash lines both morning and night.
I started using this the night it arrived. I have used without fail everyday, twice a day for 60 days, applying to both upper and lower lashes. It is a clear serum, you definitely don't need much. I used a bit much a couple of times and it ended up drying white in my eyelashes which looked like glue. It is easy to get off though. I was quite worried at first if it was going to get in my eyes and cause stinging or irritation but thankfully it didn't, in fact it is very gentle. My eyes never went red or felt uncomfortable.
My lashes are dark brown and neither short nor long. I certainly hoped I could get a bit of extra length. The results for me were good, I noticed my lashes appear a lot fuller and stronger. I have had less lash fallout and I can definitely notice growth on my outer corner lashes the most. When I wear mascara is when I can see a big difference, they look longer and lush. I started seeing results around the 6-7 week mark.
This is the first lash serum I have used so I have nothing to compare it too but I am still happy with my results so far and will continue to use until it runs out. As it is not see through I have no idea how much product is left which is a bit annoying. I have really enjoyed this trial and I would purchase this lash serum for future use.
An exciting trial but a bit nervous in case my dumpy eyelashes came back As I’ve used my current serum for years.
So with out fail morning and night I applied this along the root line along my top lashes. And doing that twice a day was no problem as I use eye cream morning and nite so was easy to chuck this in my routine. The applicator was a bit weird to start off with as it’s a hard tube with a end that you twist that pushes the serum down into the wee soft brush that’s at the other end. It’s easy to use it clicks as you twist the end, so two clicks and the brush is wet with serum. First use I had to do several clicks to start the flow. The print is small so I did struggle to read it. I didn’t like it to start of with but within a week I was like wow this is ok.
My eyelashes haven’t missed a beat they are full and long, so looking at my pictures you’ll think meh. Well for me these are the bomb they are butt naked and they are naturally a little bit fair at the ends. But compared to what I used to have they were these little stubby things that sometimes not even the tiniest mascara wand would pick up. I tell you two coats of mascara and I’m so happy, I even did a trip and got my lashes permed and dyed and I felt great there was no way I would have been able to use mascara, they looked fab. They haven’t gotten any longer but they do seem a little fuller a little better in overall condition. I had no stinging or eye irritation with using this, no redness around my eyes and I did get it directly into my eye ( I’m so clumsy) and a little squint and all was good. The serum it’s self is clear and I can’t detect a fragrance.
I suppose the important question is would I change serums from my all time to this Mine 2 mills verses this one at 6 mills. Ingredients are quite different Ease off applicator Both deliver. I will buy this one next time and see what they look like in another 3 months I’d even be tempted to use my old faithful every second night and use this during the day as I’m greedy. And I need my eyelashes I’m happy with the results. They do seem a little fuller as well. I’d say it’s so worth trying.
Tips: let it settle on your lashes a few minutes ( I waited 5) before applying mascara
My lashes like to bestow wishes upon me. I'll find them on my cheeks, my pillow, my index finger after an eye-rub. I actually avoid wearing mascara, even though I love it, because when I remove it a Lash Fallout commences.
I was so happy to be chosen for this trial - I went into it with excitement and hope and not only was I not disappointed. I was genuinely wowed.
I didn't find the box or tube particularly appealing, but also inoffensive. It was just all a bit cluttered.
I liked the thick brush - obviously I apply the serum sans spectacles, so the wide brush saved a lot of leaning into the mirror. The serum is quite tacky I felt, I could definitely feel it on my lash line immediately after application, but it absorbed in quickly.
I noticed results around week 3 in terms of less lash fallout. By week 5 I had a full lash line. It has changed the confidence I had for my eyes. I used to avoid mascara, and as a result, avoid eye shadow, because I didn't want to draw attention to my lashes. Now, I can comfortably wear mascara, and I'm not left with a bunch of lashes on the cotton pad when I remove it.
I could only find information on the RRP of this in other countries, so I'm really keen to find out when I can restock, and how much it will cost. But trust me when I say this - they could charge me the last canteen of water in the Apocalypse and I would give it to them. It's that good.
I was super excited to be able to trial this lash serum out secretly for the past 3 months. I can now finally reveal my experience.
The product itself came in a lightweight, small, rectangle box. Inside is a pen type device with a pop off lid that has bristles. One end turns and product is released. I used this lash serum morning and night as directed applying to both of my lash lines. The most challenging thing I found about application was remembering to apply both morning and night but in saying that I never forgot as I always kept the lash serum in sight to remind me.
I never experienced any reactions or skin sensitivity from this product and I have quite sensitive skin and im pleased that this serum is gentle and non irritating.
The results from using this lash serum as directed for 3 months - Super long nourished lashes! I have never had healthy long lashes before and I am so happy with the results from this trial
Tips: Keep handy and in sight so its easy to remember to apply this morning and night
I'm actually excited to write this review as it worked really well. I will upload a picture to the photo wall once I have finished the serum so you can see the difference.
I already have dark thick eyelashes but of late my eyelashes started to thin out. Using the serum has not only thickened them but it has darkened them too.
It's really easy to use, and comes in a tube with a pen brush type head for application. Has no smell which is good as I'm always wary about putting scented products near my eyes.
Just add brush to the waterline, top and bottom day and night. Super easy and easy to add to beauty regime everyday.
I highly recommend this lash serum as it does do what it says it does. I would definitely purchase so I can see if I can continue these results.
Thank you for the chance to trial this x
Well, the long and short of it is that this lash serum works.
My lashes are undeniably longer and fuller than they were before. To be honest with you, my eyelashes were in a pretty sad state before I started this trial. I'd always been rather lucky in the lash department but for whatever reason, last year I noticed that they were dropping like flies and the lash line was looking sparse indeed! This trial couldn't have come along at a better time- thank you BR fairy god-sisters!
I've been religious in my application, every morning and night I've spread the pen along my upper and lower lash line. Sometimes, it's felt a touch sting-y, usually if I've applied too much, but not unbearably so. And if I'm honest, deep down I believe in the old mantra, "no pain, no gain," or is it, "beauty is pain..." Anyway! It works.
One downside to this serum has to be the applicator. It's a twist-bottom, pen-like system that squeezes a little product into the applicator with each rotation. The fact is though, on the first twist, you don't get enough, so you twist again, and then you have too much! Or is that just me?
The other problem I've encountered is the consistency. It is more 'gluey' than other lash serums I've used before. When I applied in the morning, it had a tendency to stick around and look I'd been slack at removing false lash glue... Not the look I usually go for when I'm about to head out the door to work. Anyway, a quick once over with a brow spoolie would sort it out and then I'd go over with mascara. Not the end of the world, but definitely something to consider if you're after a low-maintenance lash growth product.
I will 100% continue to use- and buy- this product when it hits the shelves. My lashes are fuller and longer, both upper and lower, and look much better on their own or enhanced with a lick of mascara. Thanks, Beauty Review for letting me try this one!
Tips: Watch out for leftovers on your lashes after the morning application! Can be a pain to get off if you're in a rush.
Having worked extensively in the salon environment, I've been exposed to lash serums for years. From boutique brands, to market leaders. From local 'natural' fortifiers to scientifically back, pumped full of lab-made chem lengtheners.
I was excited to try this - I saw in an email from Farmers this is going to retail at about 33 bucks - an insanely low price for a lash serum, way below what I'd considered 'cheap'.
And you might have guessed by my rating...but this works! It doesn't promise length, so if you're after spider legs for lashes, stick to multi-level-marketing mascaras. If you want a more full lash line, retained lashes and a generally more impressive eye area...get on board the L'Oreal train.
It's easy to use, the brush is fine. The clicky-twisty top dispenser is a bit annoying to use, but it works and it hasn't failed me yet.
You use this top and bottom. For me the most dramatic difference was my top lashline. Having to use twice a day is a chore to start, but like most things, if you just commit to doing it religiously, it becomes part of the routine.
I actually can't believe this salon snob is RAVING about a drugstore brand, but hey, if it works, it works. And if it works for a budget price...even better!
Unlike some, I have not been blessed with beautiful luscious lashes. It’s not easy but it’s a cross I have to bear and I do so with dignity and grace. However, when Beauty Review asked if I wanted to test a product that promised to not only make my lashes stronger but also longer and thicker who was I to refuse? When the little white tube of magic serum arrived I did think twice a day application was a bit excessive but after a few weeks I saw there was method to the madness. My lashes looked considerably thicker, slightly longer and definitely looked much healthier. The increased volume of my lashes also helped improve the overall presentation of my face by making my eyes more defined. Finally, I can ditch my lashless cross and continue my life with the bushy lashes I have always dreamed of having. Thanks Beauty Review and L’oreal!
L'Oreal's Clinically Proven Lash Serum promises to "Take your lashes to new lengths with the easy to use lash booster serum applicator. Simply apply to the lash line every day and watch as your lashes become stronger, longer and thicker!" But does it live up to its promise?
I've always been very skeptical when it comes to lash serums. They're horribly expensive, and do they actually work? How much of it is all in your mind? Have you imagined that your lashes are fuller, longer or thicker? Well, I took before photos before I began using this lash serum, and the results speak for themselves.
After using the serum twice per day (morning and evening) for one month, my lash 'fringe' felt thicker and I was no longer losing eyelashes during the day or when I removed my make-up at night. My lashes feel longer, but I think that's all in my mind, as when I look in the mirror they don't really look longer than they used to, but there's definitely more fullness.
L'Oreal's Clinically Proven Lash Serum is enriched with castor oil, Vitamin B5, Filoxane and Hyaluronic Acid, which help to strengthen and reinforce lashes over time. This serum also helps to repair any damage caused by heavy (waterproof) mascara use, use of lash extensions or false lashes.
One thing that I don't like about the applicator is that it has a brush tip, which was difficult to use in the beginning without accidentally sticking the bristles into my eye by accident. After I'd used it for a week or two, the bristles stuck together and became more like a liquid eyeliner applicator, which was much easier to use. Another thing was that it's hard to tell how much product is on applicator and whether or not you need to twist the base to get more product to flow to the tip. One twist of the base is sometimes not enough, while two twists is too much and eyelashes end up soaked in product, instead of it just being applied like liquid eyeliner.
Initially this serum made eyelids itchy about an hour after I'd applied the serum, but the itchiness stopped after about two weeks of using the product. I'm guessing that it was just the serum drying on my skin that caused the slight itchiness, as there was no redness, no swelling, and no allergic reaction.
I've been using the serum twice daily for two months now, and I think the proof is in the 'after' photos. I'd recommend this serum and would definitely consider purchasing more, as it does work (my lashes are definitely fuller and don't fall out as easily) and its way more affordable than dedicated lash serum brands on the market. If you've always wanted to try and eyelash serum but the price of LiLash or fLash has put you off, give L'Oreal's Clinically Proven Lash Serum a try!
Tips: Apply twice daily (morning and evening) EVERY day for the best results
