L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser X3 Night Cream Review

I had hoped this night moisturiser would be thicker and more hydrating. It was fine when combined with the companion serum but when used on its own it was not as good as expected. I will probably continue with just the serum.

Packaged like the others in a lovely red square jar with a grey lid this night cream is lovely. The cream smells amazing and is thick in texture and has a slight gel like feeling to it. One only needs to use a small amount so very economical to use. There's something I love about applying a night cream and this had me hooked by the smell, the thickness and how easy it was to apply and waking up in the morning to my skin feeling super soft won me over. Not sure my wrinkles have lessened but my skin definitely feels softer. I tried this on my chest area for a few days before I tried on my face and have noticed how softer my skin is in that area.

I reviewed this as part of the L’Oréal Revitalift series. I was excited about this one as I have used L’Oréal night creams before and found them really good. As with the matching L’Oréal day cream, I really like the packaging, especially the glass jar which has a nice weight to it. The cream has an interesting ‘springy’ texture to it and feels surprisingly more lightweight than the day cream. It has a similar strong scent. I tried the cream a few ways - on its own, in combination with the matching L’Oréal day cream, and using the L’Oréal glycolic wipes and serum. The cream has a texture that’s easily absorbed, and a little goes a long way. Using the combination of products I think has improved some of the fine lines around my eyes in the last few weeks. The cream does leave a slight feeling of residue in the morning, so I feel like I want to cleanse well after using. Overall the strong scent and slight residue stop me from giving this the full five stars.

I can't say i've every bothered with a night cream before, but now i've used this night cream I shall definitely keep using it.

My skin just felt amazing in the morning after using it. I've also given it a go applying it in a thicker layer as a mask and it doubles well for that.

Or maybe not quite that but this delightful mask-cream helps keep your skin glowing and smooth. Packaged in the same square red glass jar of the other moisturisers in the range this pretty cream has a fruity smell with a slight chemical undernote. It has a slightly odd texture almost gelatinous, like a nearly but not quite set jelly, which for some reason fascinates me! Unlike the day cream this one did not sting on application and left my skin feeling smooth and soft as I used it and when i woke up in the morning. It is reasonably heavy and I was surprised it didn't leave my skin greasy especially given the Auckland heat and humidity. This one is definitely a keeper, a little goes a long way, the price is fabulous and my skin feels amazing! My only gripe is that the jar is heavy and is just big enough that the square lid can be difficult to grip to close.

When this package arrived, I first got this box confused with the day cream as the boxes were so similarly. I looked around and found this so expensive so was hoping it would be a great investment. The colour what a great white colour, but the texture was not what I would normally use. The cream was very firm and not pleasant to use, it was totally different texture to the day cream. I proceeded to use this product even though I did not like it, to see how it went. I would go a long was with this texture so the cost would be abated this way, the application was difficult. The fragrance was similar to the day cream, this is the only positive I could see at this stage.

I loved this lightly fragranced thick and creamy night mask. It comes in the usual L'oreal classy packaging. The mask glides on smoothly and feels very nourishing and rich on the skin. I did feel that it may have been a little sticky feeling afterwards but that could be due to the fact that I lavished this cream on when I could've got away with putting on a lesser amount. The size of a small green pea would have been ample. I can't say that my skin felt tightened or had reduced wrinkles after 3 weeks use but it definitely felt well nourished and supple in the mornings. I still think it is value for money as I personally think a good night cream is worth paying a little extra for.

I liked this product. I used it at night after cleansing and applying serum. It has a very thick and moisturising feel and my face would still feel moisterised in the morning when I woke. It has a strong smell like the day cream which is characteristic of Loreal products. Not unpleasant but just strong which might be offputting for sensitive noses. Comes in a pottle with screw lid and plastic seal inside. A small blob goes a long way.

I received this product as part of a Beauty Review trial. The moisturiser comes in a dark red jar with a gun metal lid, classy packaging which I have come to expect from L'Oreal. I really like the smell of the moisturiser, I think it's smells fresh and clean and it compliments the fragrance of the revitalift serum. It has a jelly like texture in the jar and absorbs into the skin quickly. My skin felt soft immediately and still felt hydrated in the morning. Luckily my skin is fairly good and I've only got a few fine lines. While I've used the product for a few weeks now, I'm not sure I've seen any improvement in these fine lines. My usual skin regime involves lots of serums and creams so it was nice to have a more simple regime while trialling this product. However, as I haven't really seen any improvement in my skin, I'll probably stick with my usual products.

A really nice rich cream that leaves no sticky or greasy feel, just that nice feeling of having fed the skin with richness. It is a slightly unusual texture - vague sensations of jelly or yoghurt in the mix - but it absorbs quickly - the final part of a very quick bedtime skin routine. Like all products of this range it has a very pleasant but delicate fragrance.
