This stuff really does what it says. It isn't drying at all. It has made my skin look and feel so much clearer. I'm recommending it to anyone who has dry skin and suffers from breakouts.

Amazing for sensitive skin, no irritation at all. Helped with some of my acne and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean.
Tips: I did realise that if my skin was extra oily I was having to use a little extra.
Consistency is nice and smooth, and the bottle size is good - don't feel hesitant to use it on other parts of my body as I know it will last a long time. I don't love the scent, it smells kind of soapy/boring - but that's fine, it's not meant to be scented and probably better that it isn't. I didn't have any break outs at the time of the product arriving so hard to say if it has done what it was supposed to, but I have found the skin around my chin/jowl quite dry in the past week or so, and can only attribute to this. Going to take a break from use and see if this resolves. All in all, it seems fine, but not sure I'd rush out to buy it.
Tips: It foams up more than you'd expect so you don't need a lot!
What coincidence for this cleanser and cream to arrive! My hormonal breakouts began to brew the evening before and I thought I was going to be in for another deep, hormonal pimple on the chin. I used the cleanser and cream in the evening instead of my normal go to and woke to fins that 50% of redness and pain was gone! I can't wait to see if it has the same, magical effects next month! I wanted to get the amazing part out in front first as I have a little concern/feedback about the packaging. I found it EXTREMELY difficult to workout what type of product I had and I struggled to decifer how to use each. I would love to see more English so I can make sure I'm using it the optimal way and understand what ingredients are present.
I was glad I was chosen to review this product. My skin is quite sensitive and I have to be careful about choosing products, especially cleansers.
La Roche-Posay products have a good name and this is the first I have used, so was excited to see if it stood up to it's name. The cleanser came without a box, just the large upside down tube. It has the normal plain markings of mainly white with some blue on the outside of the tube. You can tell it's La Roche-Posay just by looking at it.
The product inside is white and it emulsifies with a little bit of water in the hands, applies easily to the face and doesn't seem to drip or make a mess. It felt good on my skin and actually did a brilliant job of removing my makeup including eye makeup as well as cleansing, I was quite pleasantly surprised at this as I wasn't sure that it would, as I wear a full face of makeup daily. My skin did not feel dry after washing it off, it actually felt quite moisturised. The smell is pleasant and not very strong which is great. I love that it helps to maintain the physiological pH of the skin as that is important to me and the added bonus of Niacinamide I think has made a bit of difference to the redness in my face, so extra bonus!
I also wanted to try this on my 10 year old daughter who has pre-teen acne and sensitive skin, unfortunately she reacted to it, so must have been an ingredient her skin didn't like so discontinued it.
I really like this cream cleanser, I will definitely continue using this on the daily along with the moisturiser that goes with it, I'm really happy with this cleanser! Win-win from me
Tips: Don't use too much - you really only need a small amount to emulsify and cleanse
My skin has been going through a messy period of change of late as I experience hormonal breakouts not seen since my early teenage years. As well as my skin being sensitive, I’m currently using a serum designed to combat oily, acne-prone skin as part of my skincare routine.
The La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Cleansing Cream comes in a 200ml squeezable tube with a sturdy lid which doesn’t leak in my gym bag and is easy enough to open and close with wet hands.
I apply a pea-sized amount of the La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Cleansing Cream to damp skin twice a day to cleanse my skin. The product is a pearly colour of a medium thickness and it effortlessly removes impurities, leaving my skin feeling absolutely amazing - soothed, fresh and glowy and not dried out. As a result it has also massively improved my skin texture and appearance.
This is the fifth cleanser I have tried this year as part of efforts to sort my skin out and it has been a game changer for how my skin looks and feels. I will 100% stick with this cleanser and repurchase it.
Tips: It pays to shop around - prices for this product appear to vary wildly between retailers.
Having used every acne treatment you can get your hands on, it's my skin needed some care, so I was grateful to trial the La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Cleansing Cream.
First impressions - don't get it in your mouth, and a little goes a long way. I put a slightly bigger than pea-sized amount on my fingertips, rubbed them together and applied. It foamed up (which had me nervous, as I find foamy cleansers stripping), and easily cleaned my face - and the inside of my mouth. This is not a tasty cleanser - it's very perfume-y. The next time I halved the amount, kept my mouth firmly shut and had no problems.
Over the trial period, I found the cleanser did an excellent job of cleansing my skin, even on makeup days, and it didn't leave my skin dry or tight feeling. I also found that my acne cleared more quickly, and I saw a little reduction in redness.
What I love most about this cleanser is the size - it can be used for the body, but if you were to just use if for the face it would last a long time, which makes the $30 price tag extremely affordable.
I would absolutely buy it again, and would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend with skin similar to mine.
This cleanser does exactly what it says it will, and is perfect for when your skin is feeling a bit sensitive. I used this product for over 3 weeks during winter ,when my skin is already a bit red and sore, and also while using overnight acne/aging treatment that can leave my skin irritated. I love the texture of this cleanser, a gentle gel/cream, but it also lathers a bit and then just leaves your skin feeling soft and clean, no tightness or dry feeling. The only reason I am slightly hesitant to repurchase this is that it leaves me with the slightest scent that I don't love. I can't figure out what the smell is, and it fades quite quickly ,so maybe I will get over it! I will continue using this up, and imagine that even if I don't repurchase as my regular daily product it would be good to have around for when my skin is sore and irritated. I loved that I never once had a stinging feeling during or after using this product.
As soon as I opened this I was surprised to find it was scented (jasmine I think?). Scented products can go either way for me, so I'm pleased to say this one didn't irritate my sensitive skin. The product is very liquid, so be careful not to squeeze very hard! I think a pump bottle would be a better fit for this.
The cleanser lathered up a little bit, like a soap. You really only need to use a small amount, a little goes a long way. It gives a really clean feeling after rinsing, and left my skin nice and smooth.
After using this for a month, my skin is feeling smooth and more matte - it's definitely keeping my oil production down. I didn't notice much difference in my redness though.
Tips: A little goes a long way! I used this in combo with the care cream for best effects.
I really wanted to love this as I've been told that switching to a cream cleanser helps with combatting dehydrated/combo acne prone skin. Unfortunately I found this left my skin too tight after cleansing and I had to work hard to restore the moisture. I do think it's a gentler choice for really oily skin, just not for me.
