Feels nice on face when applying, feels like a very gentle cleanser, lathers well, mild pleasant smell. I am not sure if it was a coincidence but I feel like it made my face feel dry and made me break out afterwards. My current skincare routine I have been using for awhile and ucertain if change of products caused this, I am a bit wary of trying this again due to this.

Tips: Apply day and night.
I really wanted to love this as I've been told that switching to a cream cleanser helps with combatting dehydrated/combo acne prone skin. Unfortunately I found this left my skin too tight after cleansing and I had to work hard to restore the moisture. I do think it's a gentler choice for really oily skin, just not for me.
I found this to be quite greasy, but when I used less it seemed to work fine. I didn't experience any burning/irritation which was nice, and I liked the thicker consistency which felt like a barrier between my skin and my makeup if that makes sense. Though since I have oily skin I don't think I would use this again. Maybe people with dryer skin might find this more helpful.
To be clear this is a great cleanser - cleans your face well. I have a beard so no need for a separate beard cleanser as this will clean everything. However, I have used others and I couldn't tell the difference or what made this more special than other cleansers. I also have the Effaclar Foaming Gel and apart from the smell, they do the same thing. This may be more for those who are using Acne treatments - perhaps you may see some effect here as it's supposed to reduce redness. So, I am only using it now to use it up, but then I'll be sticking to my La Roche Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel as it does the same thing, cheaper - and smells nicer.
So, I trialed this in combination with the moisturiser and yes, my skin has been more hydrated, smoother and less prone to breakout. This cleanser is fine - it cleaned my skin without stripping off all the oil, it doesn't have an overly powerful scent, and it comes in a decent size. I love that you can use it for your body too. The downside for me was two-fold. First, when I used my hands to apply the product, it stung a bit. Just enough to make me ponder what was going on but not enough to cause major irritation. When using my silicone cleansing pad, it foamed up way too much. I ended up alternating application methods (one day hands, the next pad) and I didn't flair up, but it seemed a bit odd given it's meant to be gentle. I'll definitely finish the bottle, but I won't be adding this to my shopping list.
Tips: A multipurpose cleanser, it can be used for body acne too.
This product does as instructed helping with blemish prone skin. However if you are prone to dry skin, i felt that the cleanser left a tight feeling on my skin until moisturising. The cleanser is easy to use with simple packaging. The consistency is thick and easy to work into a lather on wet skin, so you don’t need much product. Meaning the product used everyday would last a while. The scent is fresh, but strong enough to feel like it may irritate more sensitive skin. I did feel like washing off the cleanser required more than usual washing with a wet cloth as the product kept lathering. I am prone to hormonal break outs and i did feel like this product used with the’ Effaclor H iso-Biome ultra soothing hydrating moisturiser’ reduced the redness associated with these breakouts noticeably. I would recommend this product to friends with less dry skin.
Tips: Use in conjunction with ‘Effaclor H Iso-Biome ultra soothing hydrating moisturiser’ for best result.
Consistency is nice and smooth, and the bottle size is good - don't feel hesitant to use it on other parts of my body as I know it will last a long time. I don't love the scent, it smells kind of soapy/boring - but that's fine, it's not meant to be scented and probably better that it isn't. I didn't have any break outs at the time of the product arriving so hard to say if it has done what it was supposed to, but I have found the skin around my chin/jowl quite dry in the past week or so, and can only attribute to this. Going to take a break from use and see if this resolves. All in all, it seems fine, but not sure I'd rush out to buy it.
Tips: It foams up more than you'd expect so you don't need a lot!
Firstly let me preface this review by saying, this is a really good product by a really good company it's just not the cleanser experience I've grown used to.
Ive used an oil cleanser for probably close to two years now and going back to a cream cleanser was a bit of a shock!
The cleanser is a nice creamy thickness and a little lathers up well on your face and smoothes off nicely, leaving skin squeaky clean. It's the squeaky clean that was the problem for me, it just felt a little too dry.
I think if you had slightly oilier skin this cleanser would be great whereas mine tends to be a little drier.
I had no reaction at all to the cleanser while using it so again perfect for sensitive skin!
The cleanser is a decent size and a little goes a surprisingly long way so have passed this forward now the trial is over to a workmate with oily skin who loves it and will definitely repurchase.
Amazing for sensitive skin, no irritation at all. Helped with some of my acne and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean.
Tips: I did realise that if my skin was extra oily I was having to use a little extra.
I thought this might really help as I have skin that can break out but also can be very dry. This made me break out even more. I think it is too moisturising for me. It would suit someone who has very dry skin and not prone to breakouts. Unfortunately I am having hormonal pimples due to menopause. Any tips on how to deal with it would be greatly appreciated!
