I tried this out for a bit last year as it was cheap and the ingredients sounded okay. Unfortunately my hair really did not like it, it looked lifeless, flat and greasy. I stuck with it for a few weeks before giving up. I don't believe the ingredients are all that "organic" as any brand can call their products organic in NZ without being certified.

Had to do a grab and dash while travelling out in the sticks down south as I forgot my normal shampoo and conditioner on our recent camping trip. So I grabbed these as they had none suitable for dry or coloured hair. Washed in the shampoo and as normal my hair was all dry and brittle, with straw like texture, which normally improves after leaving the conditioner on for 10 minutes before rinsing this however didn't I actually used half the bottle of conditioner just to get to the stage of being able to get my fingers through it. Now I know that this is mainly due to my hair being frizzy, thick and dry but it does state on the bottle suitable for all hair types. Sadly it did more damage taking about a week worth of conditioning to get back to my near manageable mane. So no again not suitable for all hair types
I absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner. I've used this brand for a few years now without fail. It provides a thorough clean and leaves my hair feeling really soft and shiny, without any grease or serumy feel. My hairdresser is always commenting on the health of my hair and she can't believe it is in such good quality because I straighten and blow dry it every day. I tell her its its because of organic care!I would however say that it is different for every person. My sister, mother and I have all had success with this product but my hairdresser bought some after I raved about it and she didn't like it! So, definitely one of those products you have to try out for yourself to see if you like it.
Tips: shampoo twice for an extra thorough clean
This is my everyday shampoo and has been for several years. I only use natural products on my hair and this is perfect!
It's pros:
- A decent lather; leaves your hair soft and clean; smells great (coconut amongst other things);reasonably priced and easily available (sold at supermarkets)
I used this when I first switched to sls free shampoo and conditioners. It was the first shampoo that calmed my frizz, softened my hair and didn't irritate or give me an oily scalp. I have now switched to more advanced organics and I love them, the difference is amazing, but this is a great starting point, it's nice and cheap, and it's gentle. They also make it for coloured hair, or there's a lovely hydrating one which smells divine! I often recommend this to my clients who are in need of something gentler but still really affordable.
Tips: This is gentle, but its still just as good. Less is more :). These products are great if you're prone to an oily scalp.
I've always struggled to find a shampoo that works well for me and doesn't make my hair greasy just one day after washing. I first tried this shampoo after seeing it at a friend's house and decided I had to try it...
I've never looked back! It's light and gentle and creates the perfect foam. Also, major bonus - it's such a good price and you can buy it at the grocery store!
I am currently using these on my hair and I have to stay I'm converted! My hair feels cleaner shinier and lighter. Doesnt make my hair greasy like alot of products do to my fine hair. I think I'll continue to use these products.
Tips: I always shampoo twice before conditioning.
I liked the idea that this product was natural with no nasty chemicals but it actually made my hair feel yuk, I wouldn't use this product again.
Tips: Don't use it!
ive used these several times and i do like them. i was drawn to that it claims to be natural and organic. after the first use my hair felt really nice and solft, had a nice suttle smell and my hair seemed easy to manage. i did find though that i couldnt use this to much as my hair started getting oily with it. but this is a brand that i chop n change to prevent oily hair. to me it is an average shampoo and conditioner though. awesome that the packaging is made by plant bases materials
I've been using this since I arrived in New Zealand as it's cheap, easy to find and free of a lot of nasty stuff, you get a 400 ml bottle for under ten dollars. However it's not the best shampoo and conditioner I've used as there's usually more hair in the shower after I use it. I use it to wash out excess oil on days I put oil in my hair as that uses a lot of shampoo. But when I have more money I'm probably not going to buy this one again. It's probably a good natural budget shampoo for older children and teen boys and guys and people with short hair.
Tips: I would recommend a natural budget shampoo for teen boys and guys so long as they have plenty of hair.
