Olay Antioxidant (Vitamin B3, C, E) Moisturiser

As a background to my skin type, I have combination skin that is typically oily on my nose/chin and normal elsewhere. I’m prone to the occasional breakout on my chin. I turn 30 this year and due to this I'm starting to think about using products that will address any early signs of aging.

Growing up, my only exposure to the brand Olay was that my mum would use their sensitive moisturising lotion religiously! I can still smell the exact lotion she used in my mind! For this reason, I never really considered trying Olay products as I always associated them with my mum's generation. Well I'm happy to report that this trial has completely changed my mind on Olay and this product is certainly not my mum's moisturiser!

I really like the packaging. It's a heavy feeling red plastic pot with a silver lid that certainly looks expensive.

Now on to the actual product… The first thing I noticed when I took off the lid is the smell. It smells deliciously tropical to me, and certainly nothing like the Olay lotion my mum used. The moisturiser itself lightweight yet creamy at the same time. The first time I used it, I used more product then required and it took a while to absorb. After this, I used less product and found that it covered my whole face easily and absorbed nicely after about a minute. A little goes a long way!

My skin looked glowy after use and never felt dry or too oily. Although I can be prone to breakouts, I never experienced any while using this product. My skin does look smoother, healthier, and softer since using this product.

Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using this product and I’ve liked the effect it’s had on my skin. If you have oily/combination skin, want to address early signs of aging, you’re looking for a moisturiser that makes your skin glow, and the price suits you, I would certainly recommend giving this product a try! Don't write off Olay, they've undergone a serious upgrade since I last looked!

Wow I've got to say this is actually absolutely amazing stuff. For someone who has sensitive/combination skin and finds most creams and serums still causes my skin to get oily this actually doesn't seem to do it. I was using the cream in the morning and serum at night and my skin is a lot smoother than I thought it would get. Love the warning about using sunscreen and not being in the sun for a prolonged time which in all honesty I don't have issues with anyway but thinking about people that would be out in the sun daily it's great to see.

This product is amazing. So soft and silky on the face. Keeps the face feeling gorgeous and smooth all day. Feeling moisturized and skins feeling plump! I feel better even after only a week!

This cream is very lotion like in texture. White and smelling strongly with a fruity scent that doesn't linger, this product comes in the standard Olay jar. I used this twice a day with the matching serum for over two weeks. Moisturises well, but if you use too much, it does tend to feel sticky. I found the amount that covered my fingerpad to be the perfect size. No added sunscreen is a bonus to me, as I find sometimes you can be lulled into a false sense of security when one is added. I prefer to ise a separate sunscreen.

I really really wanted to like this moisturiser. The description sounded good, like a solid moisturiser with added benefits and as I near the end of my 30's, it seemed like it would be a great addition to my skincare routine. The jar has a solid feel with a nice tight seal. The cream inside is thick, white and is heavily fragrance. I don't mind a nice scent but this was quite overpowering. I used this moisturiser every night for 12 days but I just felt that it left my skin greasy and congested. It says on the jar that you can use it as a day cream too but I feel like it was far too thick for that. As a standard moisturiser for someone with really dry skin it would probably be ok but I don't think it goes above and beyond considering the price.

This is an excellent moisturiser in attractive dark red and silver packaging - a luxurious colour combo in my opinion. It's really eye-catching. I also like what it says on the packaging - that it's full of vitamins. The promise of antioxidant goodness is something that made this moisturiser even more enticing to try ...

The first thing I noticed when I applied this moisturiser was that it has a lovely smell to it. The pleasant fragrance just makes it all the more enjoyable to use - it's something you look forward to using on a daily basis.

Also, while the bottle is on the small side, you don't need a lot of this product. For me, about 2-3 dips of my finger in the pot each time with only a bit of the product on the tip of my finger each time is enough. I use a little more when applying to my neck also.

Up until now, I've been mostly using an Olay moisturiser that includes SPF. But what I like about this moisturiser is that I can choose to use SPF or not. If it's raining all day and/or I'm working inside all day, then why would I need SPF? So, I actually prefer that it gives me more choice.

Once on the skin, it immediately feels soothing and calming; while it's lightweight and non-greasy, it feels incredibly nourishing and hydrating. It provides your skin with an awesome dose of love! And I felt this immediately - from the very first use.

The results of using this moisturiser daily after just a few weeks is that my skin feels more nourished, hydrated, smoother and healthier. Huge ticks on all those fronts. My skin looks more radiant and not as dull.

This Olay moisturiser therefore does what it says it'll do - and more. It delivers great results! I'd recommend this moisturiser to anybody wanting to treat their skin well. Five kisses - and I'd blow more kisses here if I could!

Very surprised by this one from Olay, usually I find their products heavily perfumed to the point of unusability, but this moisturizer had a nice light fragrance, not at all overpowering. The packaging is pretty enough, a nice deep red, but there is a lot of unnecessary plastic In the double walled pottle. The moisturiser itself is somewhere between a gel and cream. Not too heavy but you feel like you’ve applied something worthwhile. It feels a bit tacky on the skin for a little while after application, but once this dries/soaks in it leaves a lovely soft finish. In the 3 weeks of use, my skin has felt nicely hydrated throughout, not dry spells. But I did not notice any change in fine lines. This was definitely a middle of the road moisturizer for me. No built in SPF is extremely off putting as a day cream, but fine as a night cream. Personally, I will finish the pot, but I would not purchase this moisturiser.

I have been using this moisturiser morning and night for over 3 weeks now. I apply after Olay antioxidant serum, the two work nicely together. It has a pleasant smell and is quite thick. You dont need to use very much. I find it a really good moisturiser for during the day but feel at night time that I need something a little thicker and more nourishing for my skin. It rubs in easily but feels a little sticky afterwards. My skin is certainly hydrated and feels smooth. I think for me I would use it only for daytime use.

What a great moisturiser for my sun kissed, dried out, aging skin. I used this product alongside the Olay Antioxidant Serum and together the difference in my skin was extraordinary. I'm not sure which product had the most impact but after 3 weeks of applying the serum and moisturiser on my face morning and night the difference is remarkable.

My skin has been rejuvenated with plumpness, fine lines are less visible and my skin feels soft. The Olay Antioxidant Moisturiser is light to the touch and glides on with ease, leaving non-greasy skin that my makeup happily goes upon. It has a nice fresh scent and the container is easy to open with a wide top to ensure you can get the product without fiddling.

I recommend the Olay Antioxidant to anyone who has started noticing the fine lines or has dry skin from weather exposure. A product well worth using and the price is affordable in comparison to similar products.

Olay is an affordable brand that delivers over and above its cost. The antioxidant has three of the vitamins needed for glowing well nourished skin. Vitamins B3, C and E provided a cocktail of ingredients that left my skin glowing and really soft. The cream has a pleasant aroma and although light and non greasy I found it needed a bit more effort to absorb into my skin and I blame the texture of my skin for that. If my skin was drier I think it would have been more of a success. However ,the end result was a definite brightness and a softer feel . I loved the tingle that using the Vit C caused and the hydration lasted the entire day. It would be a great improvement to provide one of those little applicator sticks as I'm not a fan of dipping fingers into product causing possible contamination.
