Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Hyaluronic Super Serum

I was very pleased to be selected for this trial team and even more so with the appearance, texture and consistency of this olay serum. It definitely exceeded all my expectations and any pre-conceived perception I had of your everyday Olay products. The serum is easy to apply, absorbs quickly and gives a lovely dewy sheen to skin- and doesn't clash with your moisturizer or feel heavy to wear. The results are almost instantaneous with skin appearing brighter with just one application and uneven skin tone and dark spots diminishing noticeably over continuous use. I've used this serum for over 4 weeks now and my daughter compliments me on how youthful, healthy and bright my skin looks. I do have hyper pigmentation around my mouth which has reduced considerably in the past 4 weeks. Will definitely continue to use.

I absolutely love this Serum and it that actually works so well on my skin. Quick and easy to apply and dries super fast to be able to wear under my make up, making my skin look and feel incredible. It has a light consistency and I only needed one pump as it spreads really well and sinks in easily. My skin was very dry before using this product, however now my skin super hydrated and nourished without any nasty stickiness and feels nice and light to wear. My skin looks firmer, brighter and fine lines are diminished when I wear this. This Serum definitely ticks all the boxes. Comes in a 30ml pump bottle and contains Niacinamide (vit B) + Hyaluronic along with Pro-vit B5 and Vitamin E. I will happily buy this product over and over in the future, my skin looks amazing.

I’m the biggest fan of this serum!! I’m Mum to a 14month old little girl/absolute firecracker so I’m equal parts tired and time poor as far as my beauty routine is concerned and both have taken their toll on my skin. The serum comes in Olay’s standard glass bottom with a special pump lid which seems to be the hallmark of their serum range. The serum itself is quite milky and almost feels sticky when you pump it but it glides into your skin really well with great coverage. I noticed a definite reduction in my fine lines and my skin definitely appears smoother and more glowy in the 3 weeks I’ve been using the serum - which is no mean feat, I don’t mind admitting! The only downside for me was that the pump on the bottle didn’t work too well and sometimes it would take me 2-3 goes to get product out. I’m saying that though, when it did work it would measure out just the right amount. Will be continuing to use this, I’m a convert.

The Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Hyaluronic Super Serum review didn't go well, I don't rate the product and wouldn't recommend it, here's why...

I don't mind the bottle design, it has a "fancy" dropper type cap where you press the button on top and it sucks up the product, you press it again to dispense the product. I found i would need at least 2 pumps.

The serum itself is like a thin white cream rather than a serum, its overally scented and doesn't smell great.

It's sticky! Really sticky on the skin and I just don't like that personally. It doesn't dry down and stays tacky. It made me feel dry rather than hydrated.

It has a "fake" pearlescence in the formula to give the appearance of brightened healthy skin however it only sits on the surface and it feels more harmful to the skin than good.

Overall I really didn't like it, I feel like the price point of around $45 is to expensive for what it offers.

For reference I have smooth, on the dryer side skin which is showing the signs of aging with fine lines and not as firm as it once was. I still get hormonal spots.

The serum was packaged beautifully with no overwhelming scent which was fantastic. Once I figured out the packaging the serum was easy to dispense and easy to get just rhe amount you needed. Now for the most important part the results this serum left my skin feeling hydrated and dewy, during its usage my skin appearance has improved dramatically and I feel it has become healthier and plumper looking with a health ly glow

I found this serum to be ok, I wouldn't rave highly about it but it's ok. It did make my skin feel soft and nice but I certainly didn't get brighter skin as it said it would. Didn't see much improvement on the dark spots on my skin either. As much as it felt nice I really was looking for more improvement on how my skin looked. The bottle looks really inviting and the application is super easy. The scent of the product is also nice.

I’m a bit of a serum newbie, having used maybe one or two serums a long time ago. I wasn’t really impressed and saw no visible benefits until I tried this one, and man does this serum deliver! From the first use I saw a lovely, dewy glow on my skin, and my skin felt smooth and hydrated. The scent can be a little strong at times I feel, but it’s not an unpleasant one. I also found that even though the directions were to use two pumps, I was able to use just one and this covered both my face and neck. The pump was a little tricky at first (someone didn’t read the instructions properly) however once I got the hang of it I quite liked the ingenuity Olay has employed in creating the pump. I would definitely use this serum again, the benefits are easily visible from day one and Olay has formulated the serum without parabens, sulphates, phthalates, petrolatum and mineral oils which is a huge YES! for those of us looking for skincare without those nasties inside.

This serum was amazing! It comes with a pipette that gives you the perfect quantity of serum to use. One blob was enough to cover my entire face and neck, so a little definitely goes a long way! It was absorbed extremely quickly and I could feel the difference on my skin straightaway. The one day I forgot to use it I could feel that my skin was dry. I did notice an improvement in my fine lines, skin tone, and smoothness of my skin and have even taken to using it in the morning as it feels so good (hey, my old skin can never have enough of a good thing!) I did indeed have someone guess my age at 10 years younger which was a pleasant surprise and this serum definitely had something to do with it. I would highly recommend this serum if you want to see improvements in your skin.

I love this product its a cream serum rather than a gel so no sticky feeling after applying, I've noticed a change in the dark splotches on my cheeks and can't wait to see the results in another few weeks. It soaks in really well and the packaging and dropper is so good. Would reccomend trying this serum and I'll be buying my 2nd bottle soon.
