This is a nice moisturiser with a subtle mango scent. It absorbs quickly and is nice and light, yet still hydrating. I have been using it for about 3 weeks, and my skin complexion has just started to look like it's evening out a bit. I haven't noticed any brightening affect, but its possible I would with continued use. Overall, it's a good moisturiser that I might purchase again, but it's nothing extraordinary that I'd actively seek out. However, since I'm just starting to see the affects it's having on my complexion, it's possible there would be more visible results with continued use.

Tips: Good as a makeup primer
I really enjoy using Olay products as they feel very luxurious but are easily available at the supermarket. This lightweight yet nourishing moisturiser was no exception. Unfortunately this did break me out on my chin (as most Vitamin C products tend to do) . I did continue using it everywhere except my chin and took it down to my chest. The packaging is lovely and weighty so feels high end and would be easy to travel with as it’s quite solid. I did drop this on the floor and it didn’t leak or chip. This cream is quite heavily fragranced although it doesn’t last once applied it is definitely stronger in scent many of their other products. It smells a bit like apricot but in a more synthetic form. After one application I noticed a glow but unfortunately it was a bit too glowy for my oily/combination skin but would definitely be nice when my skin is on the drier side in winter or for anyone with normal to dry skin. I have been using this on my chest twice a day as I have quite a lot of sun damage from working outside most days. This has definitely improved the look of my skin and I really tho it’s made a difference to the dark sun spots there too. I would recommend this product but not for anyone that is acne prone or sensitive to Vitamin C. I do think I’ll purchase this again if only to use on my décolleté because it’s made such a difference to my skin.
I really like the style of the jar this came in it was cute, the only issue I did have was trying to get the little white cover off the cream, this was quite hard and I felt like I was going to spill it everywhere. I do prefer something with a pump. The product was silky feeling and smelt nice. It is as to apply to the skin and came with well written instructions on how to use it, and I really liked that it recommended to use spf with it.
Tips: Make sure you use an SPF product with this
I love vitamin c and niacinimide in general, put them in a moisturizer and we have a potential powerhouse!! The packaging looks so good but, boy, was it hard to open! Not kidding, I could not get into the box (yes, I could have walked all of the way down stairs for scissors), but it was late :) Once I did see the tub, it was gorgeous! The swirl was so pretty! The moisturizer itself has quiet a strong smell but feels so nice on my skin. I've been using it for 7 days now and I'm not sure if it's making a y huge difference long term but find my skin feeling subtle all day long. Will continue to use and cross my fingers that I have long term results
This moisturiser has a gel kind of consistency. It's quite light and absorbs quickly into the skin. My skin always feels moisturised and not tacky. I'm not sure if this really did much to make my skin brighter or glow, but it's a cheap alternative to other niacinimide or vitamin c products out there. It smells quite nice, not sure what the smell is but it's nice :) Perhaps avoid this if you don't like fragrance in your skincare.
Tips: Moisturise day and night, and use sunscreen on top during the day
With only using this product for two weeks I cannot see a reduction in my dark spots. However, my skin is hydrated and feels "fresh" My skin is stating to do odd things (pre-menopausal I suspect) and this cream as been great as I am currently battling with a weird dry patch. It isn't irritating it but is hydrating it so it's keeping it at bay for now. There is a pleasant fruity scent and you don't need much as it spreads really well. To the point a little swipe spreads my entire face and even my neck & décolletage.
The only negative is that there is no SPF included in the cream so I'll be using this as a night cream instead I think otherwise it means I have to do one extra application in the morning. But I'm just lazy.
Tips: No SPF included so remember to apply afterwards
I was great full to receive the Olay Niacinamide Vitamin C Moisturiser to try for a month. I’ve been a long time fan of Olay, and have used various different products over the years.
I stopped using my regular moisturiser and incorporated it into my routine after cleansing my skin morning and evening.
I was keen to try this due to the Niacinamide, as I’ve heard it’s supposed to help with oil control, and the vitamin C for helping with dark spots and skim luminosity.
My first impression is that the jar packaging is lovely, but I would have preferred a pump over jar as it’s easier to use especially when your hands are a bit slippery from the product! The second impression was that it’s very citrus fragranced, and after a month of using I have come to dislike how overpowering the scent is, however it does go away after a few minutes.
The moisturiser consistency is in between a gel and a cream. It absorbed into my skin quickly, and my skin felt very smooth and hydrated. I was hoping the addition of niacinamide would help control oil/shine a bit more, but after a few weeks I have had great brightening results with some dark spots/slight scaring around my mouth lightening. My skin can be slightly sensitive and I found that I did get a slight flush to my skin the first couple of times, but it went away as my skin adjusted to the new product.
My skin looks much brighter and luminous than it did a month ago, and people have complimented how nice my skin is looking lately.
I think overall it’s a really great option for those wanting to add Niacinamide and Vitamin C into their skin routine, but the citrus scent might be off putting if you’re sensitive to fragrence.
I’m keen to see over the coming weeks how more use goes with fading some stubborn dark spots!
Tips: It’s very light and hydrating, so works really well under make up as a primer.
I've been using Olay products more frequently over the past couple of years so I was really excited to try this product.
The packaging style and design is in line with the type of skin care brands Olay is comparable to. One thing I did not like so much is the size of the outer box. It is quite wide and twice the height of the actual product, so it evoked a disappointed reaction as the actual product looked so much smaller in comparison when I opened it. Otherwise the product itself comes in a really pretty jar which looks great alongside my other skincare products.
The product claims the following results: - Instantly hydrates skin and contains Niacinamide to reduce the look of dark spots. - Penetrates 10 surface layers deep to reveal skin's natural radiant glow. - Fast absorption, non-greasy, suitable for dry/dull skin. - Formulated with: Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) + Vitamin C + Pro-Vitamin B5. It is also formulated without Sulphates, Parabens, Phthalates, Petrolatum or Mineral oils so I was very keen to try it out.
Upon my first application of the product I found it to be a lightweight lotion with a pleasant, light citrus scent. It glided well onto my skin, was easily absorbed and left my skin feeling nice and fresh, not sticky or oily after application. Only a small amount is required and best applied to the face after warming it between your fingertips, for an even application. Being a medium to light, water based type consistency, it would be best suited to those that have a normal to dry skin type, it feels quite hydrating.
My favourite thing about this product that makes it different from other moisturisers is it's very pleasant light citrus scent, it gives a very refreshing feeling. It absorbs well and is not oily at all. A little goes a long way with this moisturiser so no need to apply very much at all. With the 50g size I would estimate this cream would last at least 3 months or more with a daily application.
After using the product every day I do feel my skin is very refreshed and my skin tone and radiance has certainly improved. I do feel there is more of a glow to my skin after daily use.
I would recommend using this product along with the rest of the Olay Niacinamide + Vitamin C range to get the best results of the product range working in harmony together. Overall a very nice, light, fresh feeling day cream which does visibly improve skin texture and glow.
Tips: A great moisturiser to use when you're not going to be wearing make-up, to keep the refreshing citrus fragrance on your skin throughout the day.
Lovely decent size tub of moisturiser. Feels lovely to put in your skin. Spreads easily, not oily at all. After 3-4 weeks use my skin is feeling “plump” just lovely to touch. The one big negative for me is there is no SPF in it. Otherwise lovely to use
I like the packaging and when I opened the pottle the fragrance is nice and refreshing, not overpowering. Unfortunately for me I find this moisturiser too watery and I actually don't find it hydrates my skin very well. I prefer a thick moisturiser.
Tips: If you prefer a light weight refreshing moisturiser give this one a go!
