Olay Regenerist Advanced Cleansing System Review

I've seen all the hype around clarisonic cleansing brushes and have always wanted to try one but I just can't justify the price! So when I saw this on special for $25 and had seen so many positive reviews (and mention that it's similar to a clarisonic) I jumped at giving this a go.

I've been only using mine for 2 weeks, i use it twice a week. I tried the cleanser that came with it but I wasn't too fussed on that so have been using my Michael Todd Tropical Scrub instead. The combo is a dream! It leaves my face looking clearer and sooooo smooth!

The brush is quite soft and it has 2 speeds. I find it super relaxing and tend to use it for more then the specified time (tsk tsk).

I have not had any skin sensitivity or redness from using this, and I am prone to skin sensitivity if a product is too rough or abrasive.

I am really glad I brought this!

UPDATE I'm on week 3 and I an definitely see a vast improvement in my skin, my pores around my nose are reduced to barely noticeable. I've had a few blind spots on my chin finally come up (they had been chilling for a while) which I think is a sort of purge from the brush. Once those clear I feel my skin is going to be at its best ever!

so i got this the other week and im in love i suffer from acne and this has really helped to clean my pores deeper, i have noticed a dramtical differrence in the suppleness of my skin

I've been using the Cleansing System for about a month now, and I have noticed a big difference in the texture of my skin, it's become so much smoother and I've noticed my pores have gotten smaller, which is something I read could happen when using this product. It's just so easy to use!

This products is amazing, it leaves you skin so soft and smooth, as well as clean. Tried using after cleaning my face with my usual cleanser, and removed more dirt and grime from my face. I'm a convert and will continue to use this after trial tube has run out. This is so easy to use.

A very basic and simple machine to put together and use. Inside the box was a soft brush, a small tube of cleanser, batteries and the hand held machine itself. Has two speed settings of High and Low. So you while your face is wet you spread the cleanser all over your face then choosing a speed let the brush gently glide over your face avoiding the eye area. Cleanse for about one minute then rinse off. The cream had it's own ex foliating bits in it. The instructions didn't say that I couldn't use it every day and so I did wonder if I was over doing it. I have used it for more than a week now and I haven't had any reactions but I did experience a slight tingling and slight redness in the beginning. After work I get home and remove my wakeup with remover so when I used the cleansing machine afterwards, I was surprised to find how much make-up was on the brush afterwards, which proved to me to be more efficient at cleansing. The manufacturers claim it cleans four times better than normal cleansing and I have to say I agree. I really didn't visually see any significant changes to my skin (old sunspots haven't faded) but it does feel better and smoother than before and my moisturiser glides on and soaks into my skin rather than sitting on my face. Not much cleanser in the tube so I had to use my own cleanser which worked just as well. It felt rather like I was having a nice facial massage every time I used it, especially liked the feeling when I did around my lips and eyebrow area. My nose which is prone to blackheads is thoroughly clean and blackhead free. I am very pleased with this useful device which I can pack into my toilet bag for those overnight trips.

I really like the way this has left my skin feeling after using it. I have tried using only the product, the product and brush as well as the brush with another product. The Olay cleanser with the brush works best. The brush helps to remove dead skin cells and leaves the cleaned cells exposed underneath. It has a slightly astringent feel after use. I also tried the system on one arm. The difference between the two arms was very noticable.

The packaging was a lot larger than I expected but looked good.

I really like this system and will continue to use it.

I have been using this for nearly a week, in that time I have had no acne and I have noticed the pores on my nose to be smaller. The area around my nose in particular by my nostrils does sting after using this product if I apply moisturiser. I haven't noticed this before with other products. I have been using this daily but would more than likely move to a few times a week or use it when I have been wearing make-up. My skin is definitely soft and smooth with no current issues with oily patches.

I purchased this after watching a review video by cupcakesandcocaine on YouTube. I have sensitive skin and so have been using this with my Dr Hauschka cleansing milk rather than the cleanser provided. I thought I would have trouble using this daily but have had no problems at all, my skin just feels softer and smoother! I thought when I used makeup wipes and cleansed every night that I got my makeup off properly, but so much makeup comes out when I use the regenerist! I am looking forward to seeing the long term results.

This cleansing system has done wonders for my skin. I suffer from acne most of the time and was about to purchase the Clarisonic when I heard about the Olay Regenerist Advanced Cleansing System. The Olay product was MUCH cheaper so I decided to give it go go and I'm so glad that I did. My acne has mostly all cleared up and my skin feels much softer and cleaner after washing my face than it used to. I remove my makeup and cleanse my face like I used to then I go one step further and use the cleansing system. I was amazed (and horrified) to see how much makeup still came off my face with the Olay system when I thought it was already clean. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I love this - I use it with the cream provided and feel that my skin is cleaner and healthier because of it. This also means that I feel my moisturiser absorbs better into my skin, which is always a bonus!
