Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream Review

I have always have ended up returning to faithful Olay.

Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturiser is now going to be a must have faithful added to my everyday routine. It's a rich cream that is easy to apply goes on smoothly. I have not experienced any breakouts and has smoothed and hydrated my face.

I love the fragrance and feel of the cream, and the packaging looks great. You don't need to use much it goes a long way. I think it's a nice cream feels nice on your face and affordable.

I used this cream in conjunction with the Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence. The packaging is a gorgeous red with a pretty silver lid. I felt so grown up having 2 matching products sitting on my bathroom vanity. Because I used this product in conjunction with the Pre Essence I cant say exactly which product gave me the amazing results but I am sure this cream had something to do with it! I applied the cream morning and night after the Pre Essence. I found the texture of the cream really different. It is a very dense cream, but then glides on smoothly onto my skin, it almost "melts" into it. Leaving make up ready skin. No greasy after feel. Immediately the cream improved the texture of my skin. I have been using the product twice a day for a month and the results have been amazing. The most noticeable change is the my skin looks so much clearer and brighter. It looks and feels firmer. I had some visible pores around my nose,and they have been reduced. I dont have any deep wrinkles, but I do have some visible wrinkles on my forehead, I swear they have smoothed out. So combined with the great visible results and the value for money (I've only used about a third of the jar) I would definitely recommend this product.

I always end up coming back to Olay! For years (read: decades) it was my go-to brand and then I got adventurous and started trying other brands. But I always return!

I'm 53 with the usual ageing suspects, fine lines, a few wrinkles. I have a rosey complexion.

After using the Miracle Boost serum, I followed with the Micro Sculpt cream. The glass pot is so classy, I love it. The name sounds a bit clinical for my liking, but hey, its not about the name right!

This was a rich, thick cream - much thicker than my usual lotion! It reminds me of a night cream.

It's easy to apply and rub in, but I did feel a bit 'tacky' to the touch for a few hours after. This subsided about a week in and now it absorbs with no issue. Maybe my skin just needed to get used to it? I've been using this more at night than in the morning though - if my skin feels particularly dry first thing, I'll use this, otherwise my usual Olay lotion, which feels lighter.

A few weeks of daily use, my fine lines have reduced, quite dramatically, in fact. I think my skin tone is more even.

I'm not sure if its the cream, the essence or both - probably both. I'll definitely continue to use them together, and I will repurchase.

I think I'll easily get 8 weeks out of the routine, maybe more, which makes the price really competitive compared to other anti-ageing products on the market.In short, I think this is a really great routine and highly recommend it. The results after just a few weeks have blown me away!

This product came to me to review in the full 50g size pot. The packaging is lovely and bright and definate makes you believe you are using a high end product. Once I got it out of the box and the screw top lid off, I had immense trouble getting the plastic disc off to get to the product and had to resort to a sharp knife to 'break the seal'. After a few challenges of removing this, I decided to leave it off, no more seal issues. The product itself felt quite light, it was a creamy consistency and went on my skin really well. There was no residue left over so my skin had absorbed the product . My skin is quite dehydrated during winter and after a few days this definately helped, even the flaky skin around my nose improved. It did brighten my skin and even out the skin tone which is great as I found using just a BB cream as my makeup base was enough, instead of primer & a medium coverage foundation. As to reducing wrinkles etc, I'm not sold. I think I would need to use it a bit longer to see any real marked difference. I think it reduced the appearance of the finer lines around my eyes slightly, prob due to my skin being more hydrated than anything else. It certainly did not do anything for my deep frown lines... *sigh*. My skin is quite sensitive and it did react a little for the first week with a little pimple here and there but after that, no worries. Overall, I've enjoyed using this product, I think it does enough to warrant me wanting to buy it again. Although the price tag is a little steep, I think it would last for ages so I could justify that.

I used this product only with the serum, so it's difficult to separate the two as to what did what result. The combination of the two did not react to my skin at all, which was great. It blended in well, and didn't sit on my skin and feel heavy (which is how I have found other Olay products)

I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial this product. I am 38, with dry skin, and fine lines on my forehead. I have been using this for approximately 3 weeks: once a day at night-time. The product says to use day and night, but I prefer to save heavier creams for evening.

The packaging and design of the product is eye-catching and clever. It comes in a red and silver box with a picture of the product on the front. The product itself comes in a 50g jar. The jar is red, while the lid is a chromatic silver. The circular lid has an oval indentation on the top, which is slightly off centre and which gives it a modernist, slightly sci-fi quality. It would look very cool sitting in your bathroom.

The product is white, and easy to scoop out with your fingers. I have been using it once a day for three weeks and I still have a lot of the jar remaining. One thing that is tricky is the inner lid, which is white and sits on top of the product inside the silver lid. I found it very hard to lift off the cream. The little handle is too tiny to grasp, and the lid seems to stick to the cream, resisting being removed.

I have not noticed a huge difference, after three weeks of use, to my skin. I only used it in the evening as I did not want to use heavy skincare in the daytime. So it is hard to tell if my skin is better for using this, but it is definitely not worse. One thing I have a problem with is the smell of this cream. It smells like a chlorinated swimming pool, and I have had trouble getting past that. Every time I go to apply it I am overcome by the scent. It is an unusual choice of scent for skincare, and it is very strong. Perhaps they were going for an ocean scent, but I can't help but notice it every time I apply it.

I think this cream is a good night cream, but I do not think it is noticeably better than other night creams that can be bought locally.

I have normal skin with a few mid-30’s wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead, and I’m usually a little neglectful of a proper skin care regime as I’ve taken it for granted enjoying pretty good skin condition so far. However I have been looking for an affordable and effective skin care products to slow the signs of ageing I’m starting to see, and keep my skin in the good condition it’s currently in, and that I can enjoy using.

I think I’ve found this in these products. Firstly they’re affordable and accessible, being found in supermarkets. They both have a lovely fragrance which is important to me - I want to enjoy using the products! And most importantly, they have delivered effective results for me over the last few weeks. I can see my skin is smoother, brighter, and more even.

The Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream claims to visibly reduce pores, improve texture and radiance, as well as visibly reducing wrinkles, and firming skin. The only thing I didn’t notice was a reduction in my pores, but my skin definitely looks fresher, wrinkles appear to be minimised and fewer, and even though I’ve suffered from a lack of sleep over these last few weeks no one has said I look worse for it, so perhaps these products are compensating for my lack of sleep and keeping me looking great!

In terms of the use of the products, I loved the fragrance and feel of the cream, and the packaging looks great.

The cream is luxuriously thick, and while I did have a few small breakouts initially I think this was skins shock at being given such rich products after not having used anything near as creamy for a while. My skins after the few weeks’ use is spot-free. I used a new foundation during this trial which combined with winter temperature changed dried my skin out, but after using these Olay products the dryness went away within a day.

A little goes a long way with both of these products and that make them even more appealing, they’re definitely a worthwhile investment at a great price, and while I don’t think Ive had ten years knocked off the appearance of my skin, I’m sure with more use the benefits I’ve seen to date will only continue to grow. Definitely recommend and would buy again!

This was the second of the two products I received. It is step three of a four step regimen but can be used alone or with just one or two of the other steps. I had the day version. This product comes in a beautiful red jar that looks very elegant. It doesn't include a spatula or anything to get the cream out so people who don't like to use fingers would need to find their own. It instructs to use morning and night, I just used it in the morning as my skin doesn't much like having product on at night. I don't know if this affects the desired results or not though. The cream is a silky white texture with a slight subtle scent. It is very easy to apply and absorbs into the skin well. It is quite thick so only a small amount is needed. I didn't notice a huge difference in my skin in the short time I've used it, it does feel softer though. I'm outside a lot so I do prefer a moisturiser to have some spf factor in it which this doesn't. The box does say there is a uv version so maybe that one does have an spf in it. While this is a lovely product I do think it's a bit rich for my skin type and probably not something I would repurchase, but for someone used to using a daily moisturising cream like this it would be a good choice.

I LOVED the Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream!!!

It makes your skin feel super soft and instantly moisturised but it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on your skin. It feels very nourishing but also light at the same time. It is easy to apply as it just glides on and pretty much dries straight away and just feels amazing!!! It has a lovely subtle smell which is not overpowering and you don’t need a lot to get full coverage which makes it good value for money.

I really like the outside packaging but I don’t like the white disk that sits on top of the cream on the inside as it is very fiddly to get off. That is the only thing I don’t like though and it’s a pretty minor thing.

After using the Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream my skin definitely looks and feels smoother and softer. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
