Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence Review

My skin received this really well. I have been very slack with my skincare routine lately.. I ran out of my usual serum (or the first step of my skincare routine) and just kept using a night cream (step 2). What I was using, I was using to use up.. I didn’t actually feel like it was doing anything for my skin so my skin was at a great blank canvas to see if this actually made a difference.

And I believe it did.

It applies easily once you can master the pipette applicator. It’s actually quite a smart pipette that doesn’t drip and draws a nice amount for application. The essence itself is almost a clear fluid.. almost. With kind of gel like consistency. The box recommends two pumps for ideal results but I found one plenty for my face and neck. It isn’t oily. It is very quickly absorbed so you need to work quickly. I found it did apply best to washed/cleansed skin – at night after my cleanse in the shower and morning after a cleanse and rinse. It doesn’t apply like an oil based serum as it pretty much absorbed straight away and leaves an almost sticky layer. But not horribly sticky- it feels like something is there.. but the skin is beautifully smooth. I almost used a whole draw of the pipette every time so you do use this faster than you would an oil for example but not a great deal faster. I still have the majority of my bottle left and I have had a few weeks with this already so that’s not too bad in my opinion. I do think I would finish this bottle faster than the cream pottle. It has a slight smell in my opinion.. a faint curry smell. But not offensive and disappears very quickly.

It sits very well under makeup. As it’s applied twice a day there’s no doubt it has had to sit under my makeup. It was great. It was amazing actually. I found it acts like a primer – smoothing and creating a dewy finish that made makeup apply so easily.

It’s very hard to tell individually the effect this is having as I was testing as a duo but I noticed straight after application of the pre-essence that my skin felt tighter, more plump and smooth. The actual packaging states it “boosts skin renewal” and this was based on an exfoliation study of skin surface cells.. so going by this I would say YES I felt a difference - my skin felt so smooth like it had an exfoliation treatment, but I hadn’t.

I’m over 30, I have a few wrinkles – I have the laughter lines, frown lines and I sleep on my side lines. I don’t expect these to disappear. After using this I still have wrinkles.. I didn’t expect that to change – BUT I feel this would be doing a great job to slow the aging process further for someone my age. I am pretty happy about the minimised pores.. pre 30s I never worried about my pores but post 30s my pores are noticeably bigger so yay! As well as this my general appearance is considerably better - smoother and more plump skin just another bonus. I can’t complain about this so thanks BR for another fab product.

Love this amazing " Olay regenerist miracle boost pre-essence "! The design is elegant and it is easy to pump without any problem. Clear egg white like serum immediately absorbed by skin. My skin ( mature skin ) feels very comfortable after using. I can notice that my skin looks healthily moist and dewy and not oily. I also love the pleasant smell. This product is definitely a hydration boost on my mature skin and it does a very good preparation before my next step---- to apply the " Olay regenerist micro-sculpting cream".

This okay Regenerist miracle boost youth pre essence is legitimately amazing. You only need a small amount as it goes a long way. I felt that it quickly absorbed into the skin and it did feel incredible. I noticed my large pores dramatically became smaller almost instantly. I couldn’t believe it. The fragrance is nice too.

I’m impressed! This serum is lightweight and fragrance free , it absorbs quickly into the skin with no tacky feel and it makes my skin ready for the moisturiser to help it absorb into the skin . The bottle is fantastic, lightweight, great for traveling and has an awesome pump dropper applicator

This essence is my new go to. I'm a furrower when I'm concentrating which has led to quite deep frown/ brow marks over the years. However after using this essence for a little over 3 weeks there's a very noticeable smoothing out of these marks, as well as my crowsfeet. I've already bought a new bottle as well as one for a friend - I'm that happy with it. Open the normal box packaging to reveal a red plastic bottle with unique twist up silver lid/dropper. The dropper makes it super easy to get the right amount of product. 3 weeks in, using twice a day and just over 1/2 left. The liquid absorbs easily and is light and non greasy with a light, pleasant fragrance. No adverse reactions for my sensitive skin. RRP is $40 so reasonably economic per use, and I've seen it on special at a couple of places. My recommendation - buy it on sale and try it out. A great product to have in your arsenal if you're wanting to feel and look younger without resorting to botox.

Firstly the container has a dropper. I love the "pump dropper" bottle as it dispenses just the right amount of serum with no waste The container has a screw top so when you’re getting to the last of the product, you’ll be able to unscrew the top and get every last drop out before disposing of it. The container can be recycled which is a huge tick for me as well. The serum is super silky and glides over my skin really nicely. It seemed like it instantly made my skin look like it was glowing. I let the serum sit on my skin for a couple of minutes to allow it to soak in before applying the Micro Sculpting cream over the top of the serum. I have pigmentation on my skin caused by the sun and after using the Miracle Boost serum and the Micro Sculpting cream for just 3 weeks, I do feel that my pigmentation had become slightly lighter. I will certainly carry on using it to see if it continues to lighten my pigmentation. I feel that my skin looks and feels better since using the serum, combined with the cream. The only negative I found is that when I apply my usual foundation over the top of the serum and cream, it doesn’t seem to blend into my skin properly. It starts flaking off. I’m not sure if this is the serum or the cream causing this problem. Overall, I do like this product and will use it again.

Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence comes in a small bottle that works like magic! Your turn the lid to open and a pipette is attached to the lid with the perfect amount of Pre-Essence in it. Push down the lid on the bottle and voila, you are ready to go!

The liquid itself is similar to a serum as it is thin and easy to apply. I found it absorbed quickly and had a pleasant smell which was faint and not at all overbearing.

I followed the instructions and applied twice a day, along with the Sculpting Cream, that there has been an improvement in my skin. The thin lines and deeper wrinkles have reduced and there doesn't appear to be so many of them! I have been using this for about 2 weeks and am only 1/4 through the bottle so extremely economical for a good quality product that does what it says it does!

Was super exited to try this product... It comes in a really easy bottle to use which is generous in size & will last as only a small amount is required each time. Made my skin feel super hydrated & gave it a youthful glow which I was super surprised about but of course happy about it at the same time. I have sentitive skin so was a little worried when first trying this product but I didn't need to be as it was gentle & the smell wasn't over powering. I feel my skin definitely felt more plumper and hydrated. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to avoid early signs of aging.

I received this essence as part of a duo review opportunity along with the face cream. I’ve been using both products for over three weeks now and I wish I had taken before and after pics. The essence is nicely packaged and comes in a handy little bottle which is easy to use and dispenses the right amount of product at the push of the pump on the lid. It has a silky & smooth texture and very easy to apply over face and neck. It is absorbed almost immediately without any residual stickiness. One thing I did notice was a almost garlicky smell on the first instance as you apply the essence but then it’s gone almost immediately. It doesn’t linger so nothing to worry about. Used with the face cream, the results were noticeably amazing. Pores appear visibly reduced from first use and continuous use, twice daily over the course of three weeks not only resulted in healthier looking skin but also with a photo finish glow, with minimised wrinkles and an overall firmness and suppleness of skin. I am very impressed with this product and the face cream, so much so that I am going to buy the eye cream from this range of skin care. Highly recommend.

I love everything about this serum.

The clever cap automatically draws up exactly the right amount for one 'dose' of the serum with the action of undoing the cap is genius. So no more wondering if you are using too much or too little for maximum effectiveness.

The top of the cap then also allows really good control of serum release. You can release a precise, small amount, work that in and then drop a little more to a new area, etc if you prefer to apply that way.

The serum has a similar consistency to a very thin clear gel and is very rapidly absorbed. It is pleasantly cool on application and does not have any unpleasant post application sensations associated with its use (unlike some other serums I've tried which variously burned, tingled, numbed or tightened).

But the best thing is what happens when you use it in combination with the Olay Regenerist Micro Scultping Cream...
