Olay Total Effects Cream Cleanser Review

Didn't notice any improvement in my skin after using this product. It is definintely one of the worst cleansers I've used. The texture is disgusting and feels like your rubbing goo on your face. Even after washing it off my skin feels gross and dirtier. Would not reccommend as a cleanser.

I got this beauty in the last beauty vault. I love using cleanser Day and night . I mostly used this during the day . I’m looking for a good day cleanser that cleans my skin as well as giving my skin a good pick me up .

This packaging comes in a tube that sits upright . Has easy to read labelling . Consistency is white and creamy in colour . Has a fresh linen scent to it .

I find this creamy white cleanser soft on application . Comes out of the bottle easily . My skin feels slightly tightened but not soft .

My results was cleaned skin . Unfortunately it did not pull my make up off on it own . As a daily skincare step it’s ok . I can’t see myself using this again in the near future.

I like the packaging as the product comes out really easily. It has the classic Olay scent and is a thick, cream consistency.

I find it lathers well and doesn't leave skin feeling tight or over-clean but it doesn't seem to work well in providing your skin with a truly clean feeling which I like. It also doesn't take off makeup well and doesn't exfoliate either.

Overall, I think it's a reasonable cream cleanser to use but I probably wouldn't repurchase.

I got this cleanser from the BR Vault, along with other Olay products. It is the first time I have used anything from this brand, and to be honest I didn't have high expectations.

In general I am making and effort to craft a more natural skin care regime, so after reading the nasty list of ingredients across all Olay products I was hesitant to purchase this. I figured that you wash a cleanser off your face, so its not like the chemicals are sinking into your skin.

The signature Olay scent comes through strong in this, and much like other Olay products it has a thick, white, creamy texture.

What I love about this is the foamy action. Not frothy bubbles, but a dense and creamy lather that is luxurious to smother all over my face. It is such a nice texture that I've been using it as an all over body wash and it makes a fantastic shaving cream too.

I have very temperamental skin and can not use any product I wish to. I Struggled to find a product that works and complements my skin type and Olay Cream Cleanser is the thing. I use it with the Olay Foaming Cleanser. Finish off with the Olay Cream cleanser and it leaves my skin soft and silky. Not oily at all and my skin has improved ever since I have used Olay products (Olay Total Effects). Very affordable products

I received this in the latest BR Beauty Vault. I haven't tried this product before so was intrigued to see how this worked. Cream cleansers can be so hit and miss with me - sometimes they work well, other times they seem to be too rich and my skin breaks out.

The packing on this is perfect - the tube that sits on the lid means the product is always easy to dispense, and there will be no wastage at the end. The cream is a beautiful pearly white satiny colour, with a gorgeous subtle scent. You only need a small amount to cleanse, so it's also really economical.

While the product is meant to remove makeup, I find it does struggle with my mascara, so I always remove that first. I apply a small amount and massage into my skin, and then wet my fingertips to massage in again.

After using this, my skin feels cleansed and loved. No horrible tight feeling, but definitely clean. I haven't had any breakouts, no irritation, just gorgeous glowing skin. This is now a new staple to my skincare routine.
