Palmolive Strawberry Smoother Body Butter Body Wash

Love the palmolive brand, definitely love this product, Comes in a slightly larger easy to squeeze container. smells like a yummy strawberry smoothie, it can be quite thick, but i like that,feels great on skin, gives off a nice scent on the body also a nice hydrating feel.

I hated this to be honest, it was SO thick and smelled terrible, only a little bit like strawberries. It has these little micro-beads which are actually kinda hard on the skin... My flatmate and I both got given this in a gift bag and they ended up in the bin after one use...

With a name like this, how can you not buy it? Seriously Strawberry Smother Body butter just sounds amazing, and i could already envision myself using this and smelling the strawberries and cream. Sold

Well i'll be honest, this review is gonna be a tad on the negative side.

The body butter body wash is thick, which i thick it should be because that's what a body butter is! However, because it is thick, i do find it a touch hard (although not impossible) to get out of the bottle. Lets just say i find it hard work. Especially when i got to the bottom of the bottle.

The body butter is white with a slight pinky tinge, and has small micro particles that give you skin that touch of exfoliation which i always like in my body washes so another bonus. I hate to say it, but the thing i thought i would like the most about this product, is the thing i ended up liking the least. The smell.

It just smells fake. I dont mind sweet smelling things, in fact i enjoy them. But this was just of the sickly side for sweet, and dare say it.. reminded me of vomit. Thats just a personal comparison and maybe based on my own experiences because the other people in my household thinks this product smells amazing.

Anyhow in the shower, i also find this doesn't really lather up as much as i would like, and because the product is quite thick, its almost hard to wash off in the places where it hasn't been lathered up enough.

Small things, but altogether it's no wonder this is a product i wouldn't repurchase.

I use this anytime my skin feels a little dull and I feel like it needs a bit of a pick me up. This is great as it is not too drying on the skin and it has a great long lasting scent too. I also like that the little exfoliating beads are not too harsh on your skin as well.

It drew me in with the actual strawberry looking smoothie that was tantalizing and calling to my senses and I knew I just had to have this baby. The smell is yet another beauty to behold! It's just as yummy as it looks. Strawberry and cream YUM!!!

$6.95 is a reasonable price to pay for body wash nowadays so I was quite happy to hand the money over for something so visually beautiful. I love that it was a 2 in 1 with body wash and body butter both things I love to treat my body to. My body felt so moisturised and so run my fingers over it smooth that I was hook line and sinker straight away. A feast for my eyes and a feast for my body is in my books aye ok!

I love the shape of the bottle it's molded to the grip of a hand so makes it easier to hold in the shower when your hands are wet and slippery. I am less likely to drop something that is shaped to my hand. I do really wish the nozzle was on the bottom of the bottle to help get every bit of product out of it easily.

You have done it again Palmolive you're always welcome in my shower anytime! The smell...heavenly, the design of the graphics and bottle....eye catching, the product itself....divine. I am in love!

Firstly, I loved the smell of this! I am a suck for strawberry scents but as soon as you lift the lid of this bottle the wonderful sweat strawberry scent wafts out. I used this like a normal body soap. It has a creamy texture that is much thicker than your normal soap. I didn't really feel like the tiny exfoliating beads exfoliated my skin well, but its gentle enough on your skin to use every day. After using it my skin felt really soft and smooth, and definitely moisturising. I still followed with my normal body moisturiser on my legs, but the rest of my body still felt hydrated.

I found this product easy to use and easy to squeeze the product out. You defiantly need a loofah or sponge though to really lather up the body wash. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who has dry skin. It is more expense than a regular body wash, but I think it's still a reasonable price given the hydrating properties it provides.

I love everything about this body wash! It smells amazing and decadent. I feel like a delicious strawberry princess stepping out of the shower. The tiny exfoliating beads massage in nicely and my skin feels sweetly moisturized afterwards.
