i LOVE scentsy's roller ball, sugar. it kills me with happy feels. i use it when im sad and need cheering up. ive been trying to find a dupe for it and was told this would be pretty similar.
it aint.
this is more caramel, vanillary, whereas the smell i was trying to get a dupe of is sweet, and candy flossy, and everything good in the world.
smells a bit too caramelly on me, i dont hate it but it's not my favorite. its definitely a more grown up perfume, and unfortunately i am still a child living my childish dreams, so it's a bit too much for me.
dont hate it, dont love it, glad i only have a small spray bottle of it. and when i do wear it, i layer it with sugar or pink sugar by aquolina, which IS more or less of a dupe of the scentsy one ;-)
I now know that I love to eat caramel more than I love perfumes with caramel notes or any brand's interpretation of caramel notes.
My aunty brought this over from the States after I saw rave reviews on Youtube. The bottle looked cool and funky with an umbrella-like nozzle - yes that is the spritzer. On the vanity I really liked the nice contrast of pink and golden honey liquid but after awhile I was somewhat underwhelmed with the bottle.
To me it smelled like a creamy blend of sweet melted butter with a very soft hint of Prada Milano Infusion D'Homme (male cologne). I love butter but I don't want to smell like it.
The lasting power is quite impressive, about 6-7 hours however it dried down to a sweet soapy version of the cologne mentioned above without any detection of caramel.
I can't recall the purchase price for this but no doubt it would have been cheaper in the States than in our NZ stores. This perfume lasted me 2 months before I passed it on - I was stoked to be butter free.
