Tresemme Platinum Shampoo Review

I picked this up along with the Platinum conditioner because I felt like my hair was damaged and was in dire need of some repair. The black bottle indicates shampoo, which is good for me because I'm short sighted and it can be frustrating when both the shampoo and conditioner look exactly the same. I do like the cap as it dispenses product easily and in a controlled manner, but it can be annoying at the end and it's hard to get product out because you can't stand it upside down.

The shampoo is runnier than the conditioner but is a similar white colour with a similar generic haircare smell. I typically use a 50c piece for my mid length hair, and I find that it lathers up quite well.

I find that it cleans my hair well, but doesn't really do much in terms of the repair of damage. I've gone through a whole bottle of the shampoo and conditioner and haven't noticed any significant improvement in the texture or appearance of my hair.

For the price, it is really affordable and you do get a lot of product, but because it's not a stand out for me, I probably won't repurchase it purposefully, but would pick it up if I were in desperate need of a decent shampoo.

Good shampoo for our family. Every second weekend we have 4 girls popping in and out of the shower, so having such a huge bottle is great! The shampoo itself is of a consistency which feels like you are getting a quality product (IE not too runny). A small amount lathers up easily once in wet hair, I do have a clumsy disposition, so I struggle to keep the amount I put in my hand into my hair... so much dropage, which is probably quite good for my hair!

Pleasant odour and washes out well also. I'm never sure if my hairs condition is more influenced by the shampoo or the conditioner, but no adverse effects in any case.

We seem to always have a bottle lurking in our shower, so I use it on a regular basis. I must say, this shampoo is really easy to lather into the scalp, which is something I've had trouble with for a long time. I am only learning now how to properly wash hair. This shampoo has really helped. I also like the subtle scent it has. It makes me smell clean without making me smell like a fruit platter. My perfume should be the source of my smell, not my shampoo. I also love the bottle size. It means I don't have to go grocery shopping often as these bottles last forever.

Great shampoo for the price! It has no amazing smell, but it sure does leave my hair feeling nourished and hydrated.

I don't mind this shampoo. It does what it says it's going to do but I don't feel like 'wow my hair feels amazing' or anything. It is great that the bottles are different from each other so that it's easy to tell when you're in the shower with soap half in your eyes! I wish more would make it easier to tell. Even a different lid would work! This is fine and I would happily use it in between when I can't use the product I like but I wouldn't go out of my way to use it. I think it just makes my hair a bit wild. I don't know whether it is actually bad for it. Just wild!

The shampoo lathered well with just a small Amount but it left my scalp and hair drying and thin. The scent was mild and not overpowering although It didn’t wash out my color treated hair I won’t be using it again.
