I got a mini of this in the shade Whiskey which is just a plain matte brown in my limited edition Rollergirl Urban Decay palette. This eyeliner goes on really creamy but sets and dries quite quickly. I don't have to press hard to get good pigment. I prefer using black for most of my eye makeup looks but brown does give me a softer look on days that I want less of a dramatic look or I use it to dot back on a couple of the prominent brown freckles on my face after I do a full face so it looks more natural. Now the downside about this eyeliner is that I only get about 2-3 hours of wear before it smudges on my lids and because I have monolids imprints. That being said I have really oily lids and the fact that I have monolids mean my eye makeup in general has a harder time staying on and crease-free. I think that someone with less hooded lids would probably get more wear time out of this. This isn't my favorite brand of pencil liner but it definitely has more staying power than some brands I used to own, though I wouldn't say it's long lasting on me. I probably wouldn't buy more. In the meantime it's nice to have an eyeliner that's a good color match for penciling back in my beauty spots because I wouldn't splurge on a pencil specifically for that.

Tips: The whiskey shade of this eyeliner might be a good color match for some beauty spots or freckles if you want to pencil them back in after doing your base makeup for a more natural look.
I have this in a black colour & it came with a palette. The pencil is the usual type a full length with black outside a dark greyish black pencil end & a black crayon looking tip. The outside of the pencil has the name of the pencil written in mettalic silver colour & the 24hour is bold. Effects: This pencil is creamy the end of it doesn't look like a pencil as I said it looks like a crayon. It's soft to the skin & lines the water line smoothly. Very easy to use & does glide on. Very pigmented 1 strike thru is enough for bold results. I use it for my corners of my eyes & to do my top waterline. It's not sharp if you stab yourself it's not picky, rather blunt. The colour stays put,the first pencil that I've experienced like this, especially as I apply to my water line, there is no feathering & no build up of product in the corners of my eyes during the day. Which I find other liners have done. A very reliable liner with a smooth finish& feel. Making it nice to work with the tip isn't a sharp pencil kind but it could be more tapered, other then that it's a pigmented & foolproof pencil /liner. I feel like it's not a pencil more a crayon. A very slim crayon as its so smooth & has no wood texture or lead texture to it. It is water proof& requires a bit of effort to remove. Better to call it a liner, not a pencil because doesn't have the pencil effect. I love it.
I got a set of these pencils which were a 6 piece mini set. I thought this was a good way to try them out. The mini sizes are about 3/4 of the length of an EOH pencil - so even though they aren't the full size, there is still a heap of product.
The shades I have are Desperation - a brown grey West - a neutral brown with small glitters Apathy - a forest green with a gold sheen Black Market - a deep purple black Riot - a gorgeous deep purple that has a light purple sheen (this is my favourite) Ink - a blue with a purple sheen
All of these pencils are amazingly creamy and can be blended out with a brush or fingers. Once set, however, they do. Not. Move. All day. They aren't waterproof so I don't recommend crying with them on but I have worn these for 14 hours with no movement or breakdown whatsoever.
You sharpen these, which isn't my favourite format as I feel you use product. these are super pigmented and one pass gives a great opaque look. You can layer these on top of each other with no shifting of the product underneath as well.
These are expensive BUT they are amazing. These are easily my favourite pencils (sorry EOH), and I definitely recommend getting your hands on them if you can.
After what seemed like hundreds of recomendations I caved and brought 3 shades of the 24/7 glide on pencils and I'm sad to say they're now relegated to the back of my makeup drawer.
Because of the name and other reviews was expecting great staying power and pigmentation. I definitely got the pigment, the colour payoff is great. But sadly for me, the staying power was terrible.
I find these ultra smudgey. The colour just does not seem to want to stick to my eyes AT ALL!
Will not be repurchasing.
I have two of the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils in Zero and Underground. I got both of these in other Urban Decay palettes so they aren't full sized. I have never used up a pencil though so I don't mind them not being full sized. Zero is a classic black that is fully opaque. Underground is a bronzy brown, it has a really metallic finish which is nice.
The packaging is quite nice. The end and the lid are silver. The length of the pencil is the colour which is nice, makes it still easy to pick out of a collection of eyeliners as well. The lid goes on tightly so no worries when travelling with it. The lid also fits on the end which is great for when you are using it so it doesn't roll off your dresser or you loose it. These are the usual sized pencil so easy to sharpen.
The product is amazing. Quite opaque from the first swipe. Once you put this on the eye you do have a bit of time to move it round which I like, means you can soften the look a wee bit before it dries down. I find these last all day on me without problems (and that is odd for me). These are still easy to remove though at the end of the day. I never put these in the waterline though because they just can't dry down enough and they smudge.
Overall if I had the opportunity to repurchase I would get these and lots of other colours.
I was lucky enough to receive two of these as a gift from a friend who went home to the States for a trip, and hit up Sephora. She chose two colours for me; 'Deep End' and 'Freak'.
Deep End is a bright, vibrant turquoise. This is one of my favourite colours ever to play with ,s o this pencil makes me happy. I add it into looks, or use it on it's own for colour with impact.
Freak is a really pretty , soft leaf green with a really metallic edge to it. I love using this with browns and golds, and it also pops brilliantly against black liner and mascara.
Both pencils are the same in type - a sharpenable pencil, of which the body is the colour of the liner lead, and the cap and base of the pencils are silver. The leads themselves are set in charcoal wood. I like sharpenable pencils because you can refresh the product and keep it more hygienic.
I find these really easy to apply but they transfer easily and this means that I sometimes end up with the pencil in places I didn't intend for it to go. It helps if you can leave your eyes closed until it's totally set, or use a setting powder or spray, but I usually still have to tidy up a little after using these. It's this that has prevented me from giving them full marks.
Other than that, once the colour sets it stays pretty true. They are prone to sliding off with sweat or tears etc, which puts them under the Chichi range in my opinion, but the colour payoff is glorious and if you're not needing the look to last all day (or you don't mind touchups) then you'll still be happy.
$30 each is a lot for eyeliner, and I know they aren't as expensive in other countries, so that would make me think twice about a repurchase, however if they were cheaper then I would be happy to use them again. I really like the colour payoff, the formula and the impact.
Let me start by saying that I love urban decay.. These are one of the few things that I don't like from their product line. The liners are smooth, creamy and pigmented BUT they will not stay on my eyes. My lids aren't excatly super oily or anything but these give me panda eyes by the end of the day. It sucks because they have some amazing shades.
This eyeliner is now my absolute go to, no question. Over the years I have tried a lot of eyeliners, and finally settled for several years on Revlon Colourstay. But the range of colours was limited, and just when I found one I liked, they would delete it! Then I found Urban Decay completely by accident. The colour range is amazing, and it's staying power remarkable.
It glides on so smoothly, no pulling, it's almost like a gel/creme. Stays on, wears all day. I put my makeup on at 6am and I do not retouch it all day. If I am going out for the evening, I may refresh my makeup about 12 hours later. Highly recommended and well worth the price for makeup you have to keep reapplying.
The color range on these pencils covers the whole color wheel. It’s awesome! They are creamy and glide on effortlessly with beautiful color. The color perversion will always be the winner for me in this set. I have never found another black pencil that stays put as well as that color. Some of the other colors don’t even stay as well as that one. It doesn’t move at all. Never smears. Never leaves the waterline. I have yet to find another pencil that can deliver that kind of result. It is a MUST have for anyone who wears eyeliner on their bottom lash line.
I was really excited when buying this at duty free and bought the black one, but am not fully impressed with it. I found that the pigmentation was definitely there, and it easily glided on, but it definitely wasn't 24/7.
Within 3 hours, it had started smudging, and the liner on my upper lid, had transferred to below my eyes and into my inner corners, giving me the appearance of panda eyes. I love the colour, pigmentation, and formula but it is quite pricey and doesn't stay put. I also feel that it isn't waterproof and is quite a hassle to constantly sharpen. It doesn't sit well in the tightline or waterline.
I would not repurchase unfortunately. :(
