Vaseline Aloe Fresh Moisturising Body Gel

I got a trial sized bottle of this. I must say when I saw that it was clear, my head immediately thought "hand sanitizer!" lol. It was kind of hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that this is a moisturiser. But Ooowee! The smell is super dooper refreshing. And it makes your skin feel so good. You do have to wait for it to dry a bit longer than a cream lotion, but Im keen to buy a full size bottle :)

During the summer it's easy to forget to repeatedly apply sunblock and to turn yourself into human bacon. Admittedly I have done this on more than one occasion and regretted it later that night.

I picked this up when I was on holiday down south and in desperate need of something to take the burn out of my shoulders. I grabbed this because of the price and because I like Vaseline as a brand.

The tube is easy and not messy to use - you can distribute as much or as little product as you desire with ease.

This was fanstastic for my fried skin - it felt like a really nice cooling sensation on my burned flesh. It's a gel and it kind of reminds me of jelly, but it sinks into your skin so easily and immediately takes the sting out of your burn while moisturising the damaged skin.

There is a slight scent of Aloe, which I don't mind and it did leave a slightly sticky residue on my skin but I felt that further moisturised my skin.

This is really a lifesaver if you're burned - I highly, highly recommend it. It's a great deal for the price, it works super well and it definitely does what it says it will.

Aloe Vera gel is one of those must have items for spring/summer with one on backup.

It seems so natural & simple. For me it really does the trick.

I use over shoulders, neck and face after being outside and hot in summer. I do try to avoid getting sunburnt but every now & then these things just happen. For sun burn (minor) it is so soothing, I'll just put on all day and it will avoid peeling.

I feel most brands are about the same but this Vaseline brand is less "oily" like and complements the Vaseline body moisterisor range. Use the Vaseline Aloe moisterisor in cream or spray bottle together with gel, it works suberbly.

For young to old and every age inbetween Aloe gel is a must and will be missed if not on hand. My tip - keep in the fridge, nothing more cooling and soothing than the gel being cold when you are hot or have hot skin.

I was given a bottle of this, and my initial feeling was that it felt a little cold and sticky on my skin. It is really an aloe vera get that you would use to treat sunburn. It does say this on the back of the bottle, but is not really clear on the front. I think it would be a nice product on your skin if you were a bit sunburnt - but who is sunburnt anymore?! I would not use this as a daily moisturiser.

I am a big fan of this product! i use when i get sun burnt because it feels so cold and soothing on your skin, it is a bit sticky but i didn't really care much about that as it helped my sun burn alot! I would not use this as a daily moisturizer. This is the best product i have found to help sun burn :)

This product is so refreshing, it moistured and soothed sunburn really nicely. Will definately be using again!

I had never tried a gel moisturiser before and so keen to try this one. Initially, after a hot shower it is quite chilly on the skin and I was rather surprised. It reminded me of being on holiday on Hamilton Island with my very sunburnt sons and using aloe vera gel to ease their pain. The chill isn't what I like after a hot shower! However it does blend in reasonably well.

My fingers felt sticky and it took a while to ease in though afterwards my hands felt soft. I have to say though, that my elbows and heels are always the end-of-day test and they do not pass this one!

It's a nice product to take on holiday, in my opinion, great for the sunburn or after the beach and for the kids too because it smells fresh not flowery. For me though, you can't beat a cream moisturiser.

I love this moisturising body gel! I have been using it daily and it is so nice to apply. I find that you don't need a lot as it goes quite far and the gel texture is quite refreshing, as well as it smelling fab! I would absolutely buy this product again. I have been using it daily and my skin is still so nice and soft at the end of the day, I find that even if I have used it in the morning when I have a shower at night before bed, it is still on my skin and almost feels silky and a little slippery until it gets washed off.

My legs hadn't seen the sun for a little while and this also helped when they got a little too much color on the weekend! I think this would be really nice to use for sunburn as it also has aloe vera in in :)

I approached this gel as an after-sun care moisturiser only and I think that's probably why I was pretty happy with the results. It's got that great 'cold' aloe feel about it, and definitely felt nice putting it on my hot skin after time out in the sun. A tiny bit tacky feeling when applying, but this seems to evaporate pretty quickly so didn't bother me. I made hubby try it out also and he was very happy with how it felt (so get's the guy tick of approval in this household). I've previously had a spray on aloe gel and I actually prefer the squeezy bottle of this (I always found myself cringing before spraying because I knew it would be cold - where as this one you don't have that shock factor).

I did have my worries about it, some Aloe Vera gels can leave you feeling a little sticky. But this was brilliant! My skin really does feel fresh and it is so soft... smells great too. I have used it sparingly and globbed a whole lot on... it soaks in really well and doesn't leave me feeling slimy like cream moisturisers can. This will be a life saver this summer!
