Vaseline Intensive Care Total Spray Moisturiser Review

Like others, I got this in my BR beauty box. I wasn't sure if I would like it as I have used the regular line of Vaseline moisturiser (the one in the bottle), and I didn't like that so my expectations for this weren't high.

This is a unique product in that it comes in a spray bottle. I like the idea of it and whilst it sprays easily and efficiently, I found it hard to determine just how much product I needed. I always seemed to end up with too much which left my legs in a big greasy mess, which wasn't ideal.

The thing I really disliked about this though, was the scent. It has a strong plastics, artificial sweet scent which really does nothing for me whatsoever and is preventing me from being able to use the whole tube of this up. I just dislike it intensly and if I found the scent tolerable then I would use this product up.

Upon running this into my skin I felt like this left a thin, greasy layer of my skin which I also didn't like. My skin didn't feel like it fully absorbed this - bear in mind this could be something to do with my skins chemistry and the ingredients of this product.

Overall I definitely won't be buying this and I won't be finishing this either. This will be passed on to someone who I feel would better benefit and enjoy using it than I did.

I received this in my BRBB and was really excited to try it out - I'd seen the adverts and thought it looked quick and easy, just what I needed!

The aerosol can is tall and slim, it has a twist lid that locks/unlocks it - great to keep it safe when you're travelling. It's really simple to use, just twist to unlock and press down - it sprays out a fine white mist that is readily absorbed. Once you apply it, simply rub into your skin - it has a nice creamy feel and because it absorbs so quickly, there's no greasy residue and you can get dressed immediately.

I have been using this fairly frequently over the past couple weeks and the best use so far that I have found is on my toddler kids. Once I get them out of the bath it's a race to get them dried, moisturised and dressed before they're ready to run away again. This has cut down the moisturising time in half so it's absolutely perfect for them!

The only downside to this product is the smell - I am really not a fan of the traditional Vaseline intensive care moisturising scent. It just seems too artificial to me. I would definitely buy if it came in other scent options.

I don't think I'll be repurchasing? The scent of the product is lovely, very light and pleasant and the packaging is very high quality with a brilliant cap that you can turn around to stop accidental sprays when travelling.

But I found that the product did still take awhile to settle on my skin and that it did leave a slight greasy film. I also did not feel that it gave me any great moisturising benefits and the spray function was sometimes a little hard to operate when trying to reach those hard to get to places.

I will continue to use this until it's empty but I don't imagine I will be repurchasing.

Boy oh boy did this product generate some excitement after a few bottles of wine amongst friends! the girls came over and they couldn't get over moisturiser in a can- which i did think was a fantastic idea!One said ;oh look tan in a can' and sprayed her arm with it.

Its really fun to use this product- although if your silly with it , you will find it is so easy to over spray and you can end up in a hot mess. It actually made me think of spray on suncream- my sisters constantly chasing after my nephew with it. So it makes me think of sun cream whenever I use it.

The consistency is pretty good- its not sticky, or overbearing unless you over spray the product. I did find you have to really work it into the skin its not a "spray and go product'. I.e not for when we are in a lazy mood and expect to spray a fine mist and then walk out to work instantly moisturized all over.

Good things take time- so rub rub rub in all over !and wash your hands!

I totally sin in the moisturising department, I always put it on my face and hands but never seem to bother on my skin as I think it doesn't need it but this spray on moisturiser is changing my mind.

Dressed up in a sleek, smooth, cold to the touch metal canister this moisturiser could fool you into thinking it was a self tan or tan product as the colour on the body of the can seems to imply so in its sandy golden colour, which is why I was a bit dubious when I pulled it out of my BRBB but after reading it up close I realised that it was just an all over body spray. I probably would have walked straight past this in the shopping aisle as my mind connects that colour with tanning products and that isn't my thing at all. The spray releases a slow and steady amount of the fine misted moisturiser onto your skin and even though it absorbs quite quickly it is wet long enough for you to rub into the area where you sprayed. Once absorbed though it does feel slightly damp/tacky for a few seconds but it wears off quickly.

I never noticed any fragrance of any kind when apply the product or when it had been rubbed in and settled into my skin, if there is fragrance in it then it is extremely subtle.

Moisturising ability is awesome, it manages to make my mostly normal skin feel luxurious and silky smooth, especially after shaving your legs...oh wow it feels good. Like I said I don't have dry skin on my body that treat is reserved for my facial skin only so couldn't really comment if it makes the dry areas more soft and supple, only that it makes me feel wonderful when I wear it, which has been every morning and evening for the past 10 days. Another plus is because you spray out of the can and rub in you don't overuse the product, not like cream where you can take out too much product and are left with handfuls of the stuff that won't absorb no more into your skin.

I am seriously considering repurchasing this when I finish it all up which might be some time as it still feels pretty full. I guess that is a negative point though as with aerosol cans you can't really tell when you are likely to run out until it splutters its death so if you don't live close to shops you could see it as a problem.

Ive been umming and ahhing over this product and actually purchased it just before receiving the March box, funny how these things work! I purchased the cocoa glow and received the original yellow one in the box, I by far prefer the smell of the cocoa glow.

I love the packaging it comes in as it's very functional, I think the lockable lid is something that should be on so many more products. I like the look of it too, it looks pretty modern and is an good size to grip easily. If you want to you can tip it upside down to spray and the product just keeps flowing.

Vaseline is not a brand I would normally choose as it's pretty old fashioned and I really don't enjoy the fragrance, but this new release (especially the cocoa glow) somehow smells better than I remember it.

It does absorb pretty quickly into my skin and doesn't leave it feeling greasy. I feel it's a very light moisturizer so wouldn't recommend it to anyone with very dry skin.

I'm torn on re purchasing as $10.99 seems too high for the actual amount of product you receive but if I found it on special I would consider it.

This is a really lovely product. It is thin and light, leaving no grease or sliminess. It absorbs easily, leaving your skin wonderfully soft and supple. It lasts: after applying before bed, my skin still felt well moisturised and soft in the morning. I'm not sure I like the spray thing as I feel some is probably lost to the floor. But that's my personal preference. It does make it easily spread. I like that it has almost no smell, if anything, a very neutral and oatmeal smell. This is a decent price for a really quality product. How lovely. Thanks Beauty Box.

Lotion in a spray bottle! Doesn't that sound wonderful? I was fascinated when I saw this in the March Beauty Box. It is such an amazing concept.

The lotion comes in a light yellow spray bottle. The bottle has a twist cap, which when twisted releases the spray nozzle. The bottle looks just like a deodorant bottle. When you press the nozzle, the lotion is dispensed as a continuous thin mist of white fluid. The texture of the lotion that is dispensed is thinner than the regular Vaseline lotions but still creamy enough to be moisturizing. After it is sprayed, I only need to rub it in a couple of times and it gets absorbed very quickly.

The lotion is quite moisturizing and I didn't feel any dryness on the skin after application (I have normal body skin). As it says, it genuinely leaves my skin feeling soft and non greasy. The fragrance is mild and is the classic Vaseline body lotion fragrance.

The spray bottle is very convenient to use when in a hurry. I can apply this lotion on my entire body in less than a minute. Even though the quantity that we get is less for the price, the convenience makes up for it. It even lets me apply the lotion in the hard to reach areas of my back. And I am able do this all in less than a minute, so no more skipping lotion when I am in a hurry!

For me moisturising is super important to keep my skin hydrated and my tan to last till next summer, but I tend to get lazy because it's so time consuming but this product has saved my life. Since it is a spray can it is super quick and fast absorbing just spray on your body 30cm away and rub in it absorbs super fast and when I have this product I use it every day since it's so quick but, at the moment I don't have any in my house. Only down fall is this product runs out super fast so Vaseline should make huge bottles like Batiste did with their dry shampoo. It is such a good thing to have in your school bag, gym bag where ever because you can moisture anywhere and you can get on with the rest of you day straight away because it dries so fast.The scent is mild and not overpowering. The packaging is super fun and motivates me more to moisturise if you are slack at putting on moisturiser this product is for you!!

I have seen these ads for ages so was very keen to try this when it came in my March beauty box. I loved the concept of it, being quite lazy when it comes to moisturising it sounded great to spray and go. When i used it it was a light spray of moisturiser that rubbed in very quickly and had a lovely traditional vaseline scent. I love this and will keep using it in place of normal body moisturiser.
