Vaseline Intensive Care Total Spray Moisturiser Review

Firstly I would just like to point out how lazy I am at moisturizing my skin, especially my legs. I get terrible dry cracked legs in winter so I am hoping this product stacks up come winter time. The thing that I really love about this product is the spray bottle, I tend to get a bit trigger happy when using it. The lotion is so light, even & very easy to apply, the spray even works upside down to reach those hard to reach places. It's also fast absorbing and non greasy just like it says on the bottle. The only thing I don't like is that the spray is a bit non directional so it tends to go beyond your leg or your arm, so do it away from furnishings or bedding etc. However I like this product & will continue to use it, looking forward to the winter legs test.

I brought this as soon as it was launched in NZ as it seemed convenient and quick. It is in like an aerosol can and you just spray it on and rub it in! It applies really lightly but moisturises very well, leaving skin super soft! It is fun to use due to the novelty of it and is great when you are in a rush! I do love this product but I found it does run out quite fast and I feel because of this it is a bit pricey, which is a downside. But if its on special or you don't mind the price point definitely grab it, its something you have to try at lest once!

I recieved this product in my beauty box and had I not done so, I would not of opted for it off the shelf at the super market. So thank you BR! I am now realising that this is the product from the commercial where the girl sits on the chair and sprays her body, gets dressed and skips out the door. I was really impressed with the light weight yet effective formula. Also I like how it sprays on giving a balanced coverage. The biggest plus in my book is the fast absorption into my skin. I also like that he nozzle can twist to lock, and of course the generous size of the bottle. Great that it's fragrance is fairly neutral.

I was intrigued with the conveniently sized (184 gr) yellow can of moisturiser that arrived in the beauty box. First off - top marks for the twist lock top - certainly a bonus if you are packing it into an overnight bag. It is easy to turn but not easy enough to accidently unlock. On spraying I was delighted with the results. There is a very light summery fragrance and the moisturising 'oil' is fine and spreads really well if you happen to spray unevenly. It is light, non greasy and is readily absorbed leaving no sticky residue on you. Be careful when you are spraying that you don't point the nozzle down towards the carpet or floor because as this could be disastrous. For someone who is accustomed to slathering moisturiser all over their body this could take a little time to get used to, but it does have the same effect. Certainly a product that is worth trying and I am sure you won't be disappointed. Interestingly enough it works just as well on the heels and elbows (I was convinced it would not but it does). Available at supermarkets - already on the shelf so suggest if you haven't tried it yet, do so.

I received this in my BRBB and was really excited to try it out - I'd seen the adverts and thought it looked quick and easy, just what I needed!

The aerosol can is tall and slim, it has a twist lid that locks/unlocks it - great to keep it safe when you're travelling. It's really simple to use, just twist to unlock and press down - it sprays out a fine white mist that is readily absorbed. Once you apply it, simply rub into your skin - it has a nice creamy feel and because it absorbs so quickly, there's no greasy residue and you can get dressed immediately.

I have been using this fairly frequently over the past couple weeks and the best use so far that I have found is on my toddler kids. Once I get them out of the bath it's a race to get them dried, moisturised and dressed before they're ready to run away again. This has cut down the moisturising time in half so it's absolutely perfect for them!

The only downside to this product is the smell - I am really not a fan of the traditional Vaseline intensive care moisturising scent. It just seems too artificial to me. I would definitely buy if it came in other scent options.

Boy oh boy did this product generate some excitement after a few bottles of wine amongst friends! the girls came over and they couldn't get over moisturiser in a can- which i did think was a fantastic idea!One said ;oh look tan in a can' and sprayed her arm with it.

Its really fun to use this product- although if your silly with it , you will find it is so easy to over spray and you can end up in a hot mess. It actually made me think of spray on suncream- my sisters constantly chasing after my nephew with it. So it makes me think of sun cream whenever I use it.

The consistency is pretty good- its not sticky, or overbearing unless you over spray the product. I did find you have to really work it into the skin its not a "spray and go product'. I.e not for when we are in a lazy mood and expect to spray a fine mist and then walk out to work instantly moisturized all over.

Good things take time- so rub rub rub in all over !and wash your hands!

I totally sin in the moisturising department, I always put it on my face and hands but never seem to bother on my skin as I think it doesn't need it but this spray on moisturiser is changing my mind.

Dressed up in a sleek, smooth, cold to the touch metal canister this moisturiser could fool you into thinking it was a self tan or tan product as the colour on the body of the can seems to imply so in its sandy golden colour, which is why I was a bit dubious when I pulled it out of my BRBB but after reading it up close I realised that it was just an all over body spray. I probably would have walked straight past this in the shopping aisle as my mind connects that colour with tanning products and that isn't my thing at all. The spray releases a slow and steady amount of the fine misted moisturiser onto your skin and even though it absorbs quite quickly it is wet long enough for you to rub into the area where you sprayed. Once absorbed though it does feel slightly damp/tacky for a few seconds but it wears off quickly.

I never noticed any fragrance of any kind when apply the product or when it had been rubbed in and settled into my skin, if there is fragrance in it then it is extremely subtle.

Moisturising ability is awesome, it manages to make my mostly normal skin feel luxurious and silky smooth, especially after shaving your legs...oh wow it feels good. Like I said I don't have dry skin on my body that treat is reserved for my facial skin only so couldn't really comment if it makes the dry areas more soft and supple, only that it makes me feel wonderful when I wear it, which has been every morning and evening for the past 10 days. Another plus is because you spray out of the can and rub in you don't overuse the product, not like cream where you can take out too much product and are left with handfuls of the stuff that won't absorb no more into your skin.

I am seriously considering repurchasing this when I finish it all up which might be some time as it still feels pretty full. I guess that is a negative point though as with aerosol cans you can't really tell when you are likely to run out until it splutters its death so if you don't live close to shops you could see it as a problem.

I *love* Vaseline lotions. I've been meaning to try the spray version for ages, so was delighted to see it in the March Beauty Review Beauty Box.

There is nothing wrong with this lotion. Like all Vaseline lotions it's a nice, non greasy, pleasantly scented daily lotion that keeps your skin supple, smooth and sexy.

However, the spray formula appears to be thinner; necessarily so as it obviously needs to be able to mist. This makes it less capable (to me) of penetrating as deeply as the standard lotion, and so ranks this slightly lower than that for me.

So saying, the pale yellow tin is sleek and pretty, and the twist-close cap is really easy, sanitary and clean.

The spray ejects in a mist that shows white on skin, and is then easily rubbed in. It absorbs quite quickly - I feel like it's only moisturising the surface layers which is probably why.

It's fantastic for befor eyou throw on jeans for that exact reason though - you don't need to worry about dragging your jeans over lotion greased legs as this is dry to the touch pretty quickly. It's also great for a 'top up' spritz of lotion as you're heading out the door - and I'm thoroughly tempted to keep it at work for those days when I'm running lat4e and forget. In short, a nice lotion that slightly fades in comparison to it's predecessor but is still worth trying :)

I have always loved a moisturiser that you can just spray on and then you're done, so ive used the Nutrimetics spray body oil for some time. However the Vaseline Intensive care spray is better because it soaks in immediately, and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It has a pleasant smell, and within seconds I can have the job of moisturising after a shower done without hassle. Its great for hard to reach areas, like your back and the back of your legs, and it delivers a real moisture hit! Its readily available at the supermarket too, so you can slip it in with your food shopping! It's a great idea all round, I love it.

I received this moisturiser in the BRBB. I was really stoked to get it as I keep meaning to try it, but it never makes the list of essentials.

The ad makes it look so easy to use, and being able to put clothes on so quickly gave me the impression that it wouldn't be greasy at all. The packaging is like the powdery deodorants, tall with a spray nozzle. I like the lock option, if I tuck it in my bag it's not going to get squashed and spray everywhere. The moisuriser comes out in a continuous light spray (make sure you shake it or it will sort of just ooze out) It's great how it sprays upside down, so when you are just quickly spritzing it around your body it doesn't stop. I don't mind the scent, I can't quite explain what it smells like, sweet and flowery? Sometimes it feels a little overpowering.

The spray does absorb very quickly, not as quickly as the ad, it leaves my skin feeling lightly moisturised. I wouldn't say that it was intensive though. I think this is good for someone like me - who is a bit slack remembering to moisturise after a shower, but doesn't have really dry skin. I think if your skin is quite dry it would take something a little more 'intensive' to make a real difference.
