Packaging - Handy tube that is squeezable so you can get the most out of it.
Smell - A strong chemical smell which isn't very nice.
Application - It was easy to apply. I found using my hands to be the best. You need quite a lot to cover your legs (I used half the bottle for my 1/2 legs). You need to leave it on for 10 mins (not 5, doesnt do it!)
I tried using the spatula to remove the cream but I could immediately see my skin was going red. So i switched to a wet cloth and found that was the best way for me.
My skin was left silky and smooth. I did note there were quite a few strays which the product didn't remove so had to use a shaver afterwards anyway. I didn't notice any lumps and bumps afterwards either.
In terms of longevity, I started getting growth again within 2 days. However, the regrowth wasn't as harsh as shaving stubble, so I could get away with it for a few more days.
I used to use this as my only method of getting rid of unwanted hair about 10 years ago, but not sure if they changed the formula or if my body changed against it but I only ever use it now if I don’t have a blade left for my razor.
The cream is fine to apply albeit a little on the messy side as the texture is extra thick and it has an odour to it that is a little off putting, the only way I can describe it is it smells warm and acidy. So you lather this all over you legs then you need to give the cream time to essentially burn off the hair, which takes 10-15 minutes depending on how thick your hair is, I’ve got thick hair so I always leave on for the full time allowed, although it pays to keep checking with the supplied spatula every few minutes after the 10 minute period you don’t want this cream on longer than it needs to be. Then you rinse it off using the spatula to mimic a razor by scraping against the grain of the hair. Voila! Hair free legs, well kind of, they look tidy but as soon as you run your hands over them you can feel the prickly reside of hairs, that a razor would have gotten rid off leaving you silky smooth.
Also I find that even with this sensitive version of Veet that I developed a rash/itchy burn sensation across my legs within 24 hours, especially after showering (doesn’t help I guess that I have my shower so hot even Satan would wince getting into it – but that is besides the point I like it hot and shall do so) it’s not worryingly bad, as soon as I’ve showered and dried I apply cream it dies down, it just seems harsh even in this formula.
