I was chosen to review this product so I decided to go a week without shaving my legs to trial. It I was very time consuming to apply all of the cream on both my entire legs and I was left standing awkwardly in my bathroom waiting for 5 minutes as directed. I did a test after 5 minutes and no hair had been removed so waited another 5 minutes. After 10 minutes in total the hairs on my legs came off with ease. The result wasn't "silly smooth legs for up to twice as long as shaving" I was silly smooth but unfortunately only for one day. I shaved again within the next two days. This product does work but personally I prefer shaving as it's easily done in the shower and doesn't mean I have to stand awkwardly in my bathroom waiting for the cream to do its magic.

Tips: Sitting in the bath whilst removing the cream would be the easiest option.
I was chosen to test out this product, and I honestly came out disappointed with the product.
The first thing I did not like about it is the smell. The smell was so bad, I ha to hold in my breath when I was applying it.
The second problem I found with it is you aimlessly stand around your bathroom for 5 mins doing nothing. I thankfully thought of putting a mud mask on while I was waiting to shower but for me, I don't like waiting around for things like that. I would rather grab a decent razor and shave it off in 5 mins then wait around for it to work.
Lastly, it did not remove all of my hair on my leg, in fact, it removed hardly any of it! My hair is very thick and stubborn so that is probably why. It may work out better for those who have lighter/fairer hairs on their legs, but for me it wasn't working.
Overall, i would not re-purchase this product. I think I'll stick to my razors and waxing.
I used Veet consistently for nearly five years (before I got lazy, married and decided shaving was easier), and it mostly did an excellent job of getting rid of hair in my more .... sensitive .... areas.
Easy to apply, the texture was quite thick, so it didn't run into those ... sensitive .... areas. I used to read NW whilst waiting for it to do its thing, then using the spatula I'd whip off the product, the hair coming off easily, then I'd shower to get rid of any excess - and to try and remove the smell, because I didn't find it all that pleasant, quite chemically. Oh and that smell, it does stick around for a day or two - so ladies, if you're using this product for hair-removal in the hopes of surprising your significant other (IYKWIM *cough*), use it two days beforehand, otherwise peeeewhew!
Only had one bad experience and that was when I applied it on my armpits - I ended up in all sorts of agony and had to sleep with ice-filled flannels under them overnight just to ease the pain.
So does it work on sensitive skin? Mostly. Would I use it again? If I wasn't a lazy old married woman, definitely. Do I recommend it? Yes, but not on your armpits.
This product stung and left me with little sore bumps afterwards, exactly what it isn't meant to do. Would not use again
So this is the very first trial that I've ever been selected to participate in and I am super excited. It came this morning in a long rectangular box that'd unfortunately been squished in the mail. It also came with this cute bendy plastic spoon thing. The cream is white with a slight milky tinge to it. I didn't really smell anything spectacular when I used it. I tried this about two hours ago and since I've never tried this before I was worried that I might get an allergic reaction or something since my skin is extremely sensitive. I spread it on my right leg evenly about 2mm thick. Application was very easy I just squeezed out about a tablespoon for my whole leg and rubbed it all over. Waited for 5 minutes exactly before trying to scrape off the cream. For me I don't think 5 minutes was enough so I ended up waiting about 7-8min before it all came away smooth. When I scraped off all the cream along with my leg hair I washed my leg with warm water and soap. The result is very smooth soft leg with no irritation. My skin is slightly red though but I suspect that's pretty normal with hair removal. It was completely painless and not as messy as waxing. Not sure how long lasting this is but I'll take note of that.
Tips: Try not to leave it on for more than 10 minutes. When you're ready to scrape it all off, the package recommended you use the small end of the spatula to scrape a little off. I'd suggest you scrape a little from a really hairy part so you'll know for sure if it's ready or not. I like to put some aloe vera gel on my skin whenever I do hair removal like waxing because it's great for soothing my skin.
This cream was great. It was quick and easy to use, I applied it before my shower and left it to do it's thing while I removed my makeup. Way less hassle than shaving as I could get to those hard to reach places easier. Smelt great too. My skin is very sensitive and this way great to use compared to shaving. Left no redness or irritation and left my skin so smooth. Will use this again!!
first off, i went through a whole tube of the cream for knees down. Which for $16, i would expect a couple of applications. it was easy to apply and was firm, so it was great to be able to carry on with my day until time to wash off. i wouldnt recommend using just before going out etc as it did leave red scratch marks from scraping the cream off. half an hour later the marks are gone and my legs are smooth so it is pretty good. Although im a waxing kinda girl, ill see how long my legs stay smooth. update- the next day i had prickles!!
Loved the fact it didn't stink! I can't use the regular hair removal cream because of skin irritation, but fantastically this stuff worked unexpectedly well! Had to use it twice to get desired result, but to be fair, I haven't shaved in aaages! Very happy with how well and EASILY it works
Tips: I found using it after a shower works best. I tried both ways but preferred after shower.
This hair removal cream sort of worked but sort of didnt, it got off most of my leg hairs but there were still a few left behind that the cream couldn't get rid of. I left it on for about 5 minutes so I will be trying it again for about 8 minutes to see if that does the trick. Left my legs feeling very moisturized though which was great
Tips: Instead of 5 minutes keep it on for the longest time it says which I think was about 10 minutes to be sure all thos little stubborn hairs have been removed
I used to use this as my only method of getting rid of unwanted hair about 10 years ago, but not sure if they changed the formula or if my body changed against it but I only ever use it now if I don’t have a blade left for my razor.
The cream is fine to apply albeit a little on the messy side as the texture is extra thick and it has an odour to it that is a little off putting, the only way I can describe it is it smells warm and acidy. So you lather this all over you legs then you need to give the cream time to essentially burn off the hair, which takes 10-15 minutes depending on how thick your hair is, I’ve got thick hair so I always leave on for the full time allowed, although it pays to keep checking with the supplied spatula every few minutes after the 10 minute period you don’t want this cream on longer than it needs to be. Then you rinse it off using the spatula to mimic a razor by scraping against the grain of the hair. Voila! Hair free legs, well kind of, they look tidy but as soon as you run your hands over them you can feel the prickly reside of hairs, that a razor would have gotten rid off leaving you silky smooth.
Also I find that even with this sensitive version of Veet that I developed a rash/itchy burn sensation across my legs within 24 hours, especially after showering (doesn’t help I guess that I have my shower so hot even Satan would wince getting into it – but that is besides the point I like it hot and shall do so) it’s not worryingly bad, as soon as I’ve showered and dried I apply cream it dies down, it just seems harsh even in this formula.
