Veet Ready to Use Wax Strips for Face

I have used these with good results to remove annoying cheek & jaw fluff and dark hairs above the lip. For those hairs it misses it's easy enough just to use the tweezers to tidy up. My daughter has used on her jaw and between her eyebrows. Good for use on sensitive skin and no messing around with smelly creams or hot waxes that can burn your skin. Rub between your palms to soften the wax & help it to stick. Smooth strip onto hair you want to remove (rub your finger over strip a couple of times) in the direction of hair growth then rip off quickly using the tab on the strip. Smarts a bit but it's bearable. Remove any sticky residue with baby oil or face wipes, or with one of the 4 wipes provided in the kit. 20 wax strips in the pack, which can be reused 1-2 times if used straight away. A bit of redness goes away resonably quickly, but doing it at night is best just to be sure.

The great thing about these wax strips is how easy they are to use. No preparation is required - you just heat them between your hands. The smell is quite pleasant, and it leaves skin feeling nice and smooth. I found that I had to go over the same area a few times to catch all the stray hairs, which does irritate the skin a little, but it doesn't hurt for long. I think it'd be nice to have a few more perfect finish wipes in each packet, but it's easy to remove the residue wax with olive oil anyway.

These wax strips provide the most effective facial hair removal that I've personally tried to date, I use them only on the upper lip area, but you can also use them on the cheeks and chin.

The wax on these strips is thick and super sticky, so it fully grasps the finest of hairs to ensure that you’ll end up with the smooth upper lip that you’re after. If you can manage to mold the strip around your top lip so that all the fuzz is covered, then you should only have to endure the process once. I usually can’t quite manage to mold the strip around the entire area of fuzz, so after getting the brunt of it I need to do the sides just a little bit, near the corners of my mouth. There’s enough stickiness/wax left on the strip to use it the 3 times (in one session) that I generally do.

Surprisingly to me, printed on the box of these wax strips are the words ‘sensitive skin.’ Personally I would not recommend these to those with sensitive skin, it hurts when you rip them off (not sure if that’s unavoidable with wax products though), and they leave the waxed area quite red for at least a couple hours after using.

These wax strips are very quick and easy to use, yeah they hurt but it’s really only a few seconds of pain for about a weeks worth of having a smooth upper lip. They’re extremely effective, I never notice any hairs left behind after using these.

I really wish however, that there were more than 4 finish wipes in the box. It’d be nice to be able to use a finish wipe every time after using a wax strip as they leave behind a very tacky residue which is not water soluble alone, and some cleansers I’ve tried don’t remove the residue successfully. Seems pretty silly to me that there’s only 4 when there’s 20 strips, but Micellar water and a cotton pad do the job, very handy to have in fact for removing that residue left behind.

I’ve purchased these more than once, i’m very likely to continue purchasing these wax strips and definitely recommend, IF you’re not one to have particularly sensitive skin issues.

I used these on my legs and afterwards they felt kind of bumpy but once the redness went away they were super smooth (my partner loved it). The finishing wipes smell nice and are very helpful. The best part is that they're so simple to use and are highly effective. Recommended

So far these are the only wax strips I have found that do anywhere near a salon finish job! I usually hate supermarket wax strips, being a beautician I prefer to use salon wax. As a quick emergency fix for my sister we grabbed these to have a go and I was shocked! We had tackled and tamed her crazy eyebrows in minutes and there was no remaining stubble or skin lift. Really impressed!!

These wax strips are just great! They're really simple to use, not messy at all, and any mild mess is quickly and easily removed with the wipes. You don't need to heat anything, just rub together, peel and use. They actually work too, and you can use each strip about 3 times. The small size of the strip is perfect for smaller areas and makes it really easy to be precise. I will definitely be buying these once I've used this box up!

I usually tweeze my upper lip so this was a new experience for me. I was happy with the result although a little red and a few stray hairs left behind which i plucked out. I did my bikini line I felt that the strips for that area could have been a bit wider.I used the finish wipes, that settled my redness.Overall I was pleased with the outcome and would definitely use again.

This is my most favourite product I've used, it works really well and has handy wee tabs that make for better gripping!
