I like really sweet and youthful perfumes rather than mature ones. I think this is a good in between for a slightly more sophisticated perfume but one that is also sweet, fun and easy to wear. It lasts for a good amount of time and isn't overpowering. The top notes are a little sharp for my liking but I like how the caramel scent becomes more noticeable as you wear it.

Viktor and Rolf Bon Bon Review
Bonbon, a timeless sensation inviting a pure and absolute pursuit of pleasure. She who wears Bonbon, dresses herself in perfume whilst creating her own story. She is empowered, beautiful and complete.
Caramel characterizes the scent’s evolution. From inception to completion, the caramel notes mature from a sharp, edible top note to softer and milkier in the middle then darkening to add depth to the base note. A pure delight, a haute confection.

All girls will fall in love with a specific perfume more than once in their life, whether it is the icon who released the perfume, the bottle or purely the beautiful scent it leaves you for the day.
Well, I've always been a girl to own a few perfumes at once. I tend to collect them, and buy them purely for the bottle. But never have I become so excited about a perfume that I needed it RIGHT NOW!
Firstly, the bottle... I actually always thought the bottle was meant to be a bow which is perfect for me, I'm a bow obsessed girl. I got so excited I had to go try it, the first smell directly from the bottle had me dreamy, all I could smell was freshly baked caramels. I tried in on instantly and left it on for the day, I was in love. Move over all my other perfumes, it was all about Viktor & Rolf's latest scent.
A few months went by and everytime I walked past I always gave myself the sneaky spray, till we were doing some Christmas Shopping & they had the Christmas Packs for Sale for my dream fragrance, my partner didn't even need to ask me. Straight to the counter it went, the box was beautiful and I still have it in my bedroom. I was told the box & the bottle was to resemble a giant french toffee, but my reviews still make it a beautiful bow. I have worn this beauty everyday since, if you love sweet perfumes that smell fruity you will LOVE this scent.
Oh and they say... She who wears Bonbon, dresses herself in perfume whilst creating her own story. She is empowered, beautiful and complete.
Tips: Enjoy every spray! <3
I have been lusting after this perfume for a long time. The day I got my hands on a bottle of my very own was a good day! I love the scent of this fragrance which in very simple terms I smell like a big caramel lolly! This fragrance is very sweet and has beautiful caramel notes throughout. I have the EDP and find it doesn't tend to last on my skin as well as EDT products tend to. After 4-6 hours there is only a little bit of fragrance left and I find myself topping it up with another spray or two just to get the full bodied scent back. Because of this I can see I'm going to go through it very quickly (just as well I got the 90ml bottle). The packaging is nice and sleek and the bottle is beautiful. I am obsessed with bows and even though I know the bottle is supposed to look like a Bon Bon to me it looks like a massive beautiful bow is sitting on my vanity and I love it!
After asking for Flower Bomb for my birthday this is what I unwrapped from my boyfriend. He had smelled both and made an informed decision to get me bon bon instead. And I am so happy he did!
It came in a gorgeous pink and black box with the Viktor & Rolf name all over. loved the edition of the little wax look stamps on the box - it reminded me of old time letter writing which I thought was a cute touch. The perfume comes in a pink bottle which I love. Its very different and eye catching.
This is what I like to call my 'grown up scent' and makes me feel like an important business woman! It is reserved for special occasions because I don't feel like it's an everyday scent unless your in a very corporate setting. And yes, it is a sweet scent which I am drawn to! Can't get enough of the sweet scents.
It lasts well. I would repurchase, it's very much worth the massive price tag!
My husband got mw this perfume and i fell in love! What i love about this perfume is that it is very longlasting on skin, clothes and hair. People always ask what im wearing and where they can purchase it. The caramel in it creates a beautiful sweet scent but also has a mature and darker undertone which is perfect for day amd evening where. Worth the money and makes me feel beautiful! If you like more floral or mature scents then it might not be for you but for an all year round scent for all occasions, its a winner.
Tips: Lasts extra long on clothes and pulse points.
I bought a sample of this the same time I bought Black Opium and Incredible Things. I can't comment on the bottle, but I do understand it's bloody gorgeous! It's supposed to be a toffee but I thought it looked like a bow, which is far cuter. It's also a gorgeous pink and it's very eye catching and screams expensive.
This pefume is very, very sweet. I am all about that sweet life but I think this is just a bit too sweet for my liking. I got a light of smack of caramel, and weirdly I could smell peaches! I don't know if peach is actually a scent in this bad boy, but I did enjoy it. I think I preferred it over the caramel!
Unfortunately nothing about this perfume really stood out for me, so I'm really glad I bought a sample of it before opting to splurge and treat myself. I will finish my sample but it's highly unlikely I would purchase a full sized bottle.
I couldn't walk past the bottle without stopping to check out what this incredibly expensive looking perfume is all about. I tested this out at Farmers and really enjoyed the sweet scent. I was fortunate enough to find that my sister already owns the 50ml EDP and was happy to let me have her one yayyyyy!
It never dawned on me that the bottle was shaped like a candy in a wrapper hence the name but to me it looks like a bow - a gorgeous fuchsia bow. I really love the packaging but I'm not sure how functional the bottle is once we start nearing the end. How does the nozzle collect the liquid if both ends are turned downward? Yep still haven't figured that one out but should be interesting.
When I first spritzed this I didn't really allow it to settle - it just gave off this sweet fruity "not-so-caramel" scent and I loved it. Yes past tense. Once you actually allow this to dry down it's more of a sickly sweet caramel with a musky undertone and that's not my kind of scent. It's bearable but it's a tad too "girly" for me - I want something a little more mature (yes I'm a bit of nana these days).
The lasting power is amazing, I spritz it at 5am and by 4pm it's still as good as the 4th hour! I generally cannot wait to wash it off in the shower because it's just a bit much being surrounded in sickly sweets all day. For anyone interested I'd suggest going to the counter to have it spritzed on your skin so you can wear it for the day and determine if it's what you'd like to smell all day. If I enjoyed that kind of scent I would actually pay the price.
Recently I was on a mission to get a new perfume as my current one just wasn't cutting it for me, I went through duty free and brought this I couldn't wait to wear it, it is absolutely Devine, I got the 90ml one and the packaging is just stunning, it has a very vanilla sent and think it is a perfect fragrance for the Autumn & winter months as it has an extreamly cozy feel to it, the smell makes me feel warm inside
The packaging of this is what made me smell it. And I'm so glad I did. The smell is exactly what I like so I knew I had to have this straight away. The smell last all day which is amazing but it can get a bit overpowering wearing it everyday.
I will definitely be repurchasing this when I run out.
I knew after reading a blog about its official launch overseas that I had to have it.
Well if the sweet name and the cute bow shaped bottle hasn't already sold you on this perfume... then the fragrance will. And no doubt you will have guessed the main note to this fragrance just from the name alone.
You will be asking what everyone who buys perfume wants to know... what does it smell like, does it last and is it worth all that money? The answer to the latter in my opinion is YES! and here is why
The packing is stylish and cute The first hit of the perfumes base notes is mild sweet citrus and vanilla Mid tones, are just as soft and sweet but more caramel and peach Top notes soft sweet caramel, amber... makes me feel like sipping on champagne.
Lasting power... Oh yes, it lasts, and last... but it isn't heavy, nor over-powering (ok that is not permission to bath in it though), happily re-spritz if you feel the need before you head out for a night on the town after work (for instance).
The bottle as I mentioned before is a cute magenta bow, but the bottles are larger and heavier than you might anticipate so I recommend the smallest bottle being the 30ml for ease of holding and applying (feels very natural to hold one handed and apply with no difficulty).
Tips: If you love sweet sweet perfumes then this is a must have
