Smells amazing. Definitely the best heat protecting sprays I've used. I straighten my hair a lot, and have noticed since using this product my hair doesn't become as damaged no where near as fast. I use it ever day in summer as i have quite fine hair and heat from the sun damages hair.

First things first, the bottle! I love it! perfect size to hold and to spray in your hair, the pink color too! But what I don't like is the smell! It is very strong and just increases when I straighten my hair! also the spray kind of goes everywhere when I try to put it into my hair!
On the actual product side of things it is good! I only got it in the first place because it was on sale and I am glad I did, it keeps my hair looking healthy and has a nice shine to it!
Worth the price and I swear it is never anywhere near empty no matter how many times I use it!
Tips: Cover your skin before you spray it on as it goes everywhere and feels a bit sticky till you wipe it off.
Im till on my first bottle of the product but i'm not 100% sure that I like this product as it doesn't smell nice and it doesn't leave my hair shiny after straightening. I do however love the packaging and the product does help to tame my frizzy hair.
I have dry damaged blonde hair. I am going through an intensive moisture reconstructing plan to help my hair grow healthier and stronger. I have naturally curly hair that I like to quickly run a straightener through to make it go wavy.
The bottle was a good size and is lightweight and has a little clip thing so you can travel with it easily. The smell was not pleasant but no overpowering.
I sprayed it through my hair when it was air dry and it seemed to be going everywhere, I let the spray dry and began straightening my hair after when i ran the brush through my hair i found some of my hair was extreamly burnt and i had to cut it off. This is the sixth and last time I have used this spray and its happened three times. It does not protect the hair very well. I have never burnt my hair on a hair straightener before using this product.
Tips: I think I will go back to my Tresseme heat protect spray. I think it's a no go for people with hair like mine.
To me a heat protectant is exactly that. a heat protectant and I don't find it any different to other heat protectants that I have used when using heat styling tools on my hair.
I have very long, dry, coloured hair, and I believe this product protects it against heat styling the best any product can.
The spray bottle is great - very simple to use and the product disperses well. The bottle also has an off and on, which I appreciate. It has a pleasant scent, nothing too soapy or strong.
The heat protectant has a light consistency, and dries quickly.
I would recommend this product to anyone needing an affordable heat protectant spray.
I tried out the VO5 Heat Protect Styling Spray after spending lots of money on expensive styling sprays for years. Was SUPER pleased with this product - not only does it do a great job but it's super cheap, smells great and has adorable packaging!
This product comes in a cute little hot pink bottle, with a spray nozzle and a handy little on-off switch which you can use to avoid accidentally spraying it in your bag or whatever when traveling. It sprays a very generous and even amount of product through your hair, smells delicious, and I found definitely contributes to my hair being straightened that much more smoothly. It seemed to help smooth fly-aways and frizz, and I will definitely be using this product again.
This product does half of its purpose , as described. At first I thought the product was a complete bust because I broke the handle (a little sprinkled out so I thought it was unlocked but it wasnt) after struggling to get the product out, I used it properly and my hair did get protected from heat damage. Although I didnt have any shine and my hair started to fizz after a short while. The smell is average and the package is pretty pink bottle overall id say give it a try, its not the best but it does the job
I've straightened my hair for many years, and have gone through quite a few hair protect products. I chose this spray because it's easy to find (supermarkets, Farmers, etc), and for it's price. It comes in a cute, hot-pink, plastic spray bottle which has a lock feature (though I find this feature sort of useless, I have never felt the need to lock my spray), but maybe it would be useful for some people. I do love the scent of the spray, it smells like the hair sprays used in salons and is pleasant and floral, as opposed to chemical. It definitely does as claimed, in protecting my hair from heat-products, as my hair continues to feel conditioned and moisturised. However, I do not feel that this product necessarily adds shine or a "smooth finish" to my hair- I believe that my hair straightener is what gives it a smooth finish. Also have not see it give me a "frizz free" finish either
Tips: For truly frizz free hair, you may need to rely on a serum. Do use a heat protectant spray every time you use a straightener- I have burnt my hair before, and it's not nice!
I use this every time I straighten my hair and it does an awesome job. It smells amazing and sprays a good amount evenly over your hair. The spray is light weight so even if I spray too much my hair doesn't feel weighted down or greasy. I love the lock feature on the spray nozzle which makes it handy when traveling. I am left with nice soft shining hair after each use.
I have just finished my second bottle and I'm still on the fence. I decided after the first bottle clogged even though it was still half full that I would buy another one and try because I felt I did like the product, just maybe not the packaging. After my second bottle I found I was sick of the smell and that when you spray it, it seems to go everywhere except your hair, and I have moved on to a different one
Tips: Try not to have anything important anywhere near oi when you spray, it goes everywhere, and the most isn't as fine as I would like so I find the spray concentrates in certain places and as you go to straighten, most of the product steams away
