By far the most excited I have been to trial a product! The packaging looks sleek and high end - the box it comes in has a basic rundown on the styler itself and lists the uses of the 7 attachments. Its worth reading (if you are a hair styling newby like me). The bag is gorgeous! And practical - it has a handle to carry and inside it has dividers for each attachment and the styler itself. The first attachment I used was the straightener on a friend with curly hair and it was quick to heat, easy to use and most importantly worked beautifully. The second attachment I used was the curler attachment, I used the heat protection glove for this one and it was another success - the size of the curls were pretty and perfect! I used clips to hold the curls because it took me a bit of time to get through my hair. My favourite attachment by far is the texturiser - my sister is a hairdresser and she showed me a quick and easy way to add a very soft pretty wave with it. Dry your hair, take a small section, wrap your hair around it from the mid-length, hold it vertically and keep twisting it while pulling downwards softly. The hair looks like all you're doing is twisting it straight - but when its removed you give it a shake and it falls apart in very pretty soft waves. The smoothing attachment is so easy to run through your hair quickly to freshen up and smooth your hair out. On the other side..I tried to use the dryer attachment but it was too weak for me so I removed the attachment and just used the hand piece without an attachment and its better but still weak when compared to a decent hairdryer. I have long hair and no fringe so the shaper attachment isn't one for me but I can see it would be great for a fringe - my daughter used it and her fringe looked so pretty. Overall I would buy this (and was looking at a similar hair tool prior to this trial) its easy, works fantastically for styling and gives you so many options!

Tips: Dry hair before styling, and use the first heat setting for fine hair - its enough heat to style for fine hair. And play around theres so much you can do with this versatile hair tool!
Looking for a quick and easy way to add volume to your hair? Look no further than the VS Sassoon Air Brilliance! With its range of attachments, you can achieve a variety of styles, and the lightweight design and 360 degree swivel cord make it easy to handle while styling. Plus, the strong airflow and multiple heat settings ensure quick and efficient drying and styling.
As someone with thick, straight hair, I was thrilled with the volumizing brush attachment, which made it easy to add volume to my hair in no time. And if you have long hair, don't worry - the brush is big enough to handle it. Plus, I found that the strong airflow was perfect for drying my hair quickly without having to use a separate hair dryer.
If you're looking to straighten your hair, the VS Sassoon Air Brilliance can be a game changer. Simply use the brush attachment instead of a hair straightener - you'll likely find that it doesn't damage your hair as much as traditional straighteners do.
The only downside? The curler attachment can take some practice to get the hang of, and may not be the best choice if you're in a rush. But overall, I highly recommend the VS Sassoon Air Brilliance to anyone looking for a versatile and efficient hair dryer and styler.
I tried to use this as many times as as I could over the two week trial. When it arrived I had already washed my hair the day before so I used the smoothing attachment and wow it worked so well, my hair was instantly straighter and smooth and shiny. First impression was good, little noisy as it’s like a hair dryer but it impressed me without easy it was to use.
Next time I used it on wet hair, I will say I Don’t love the hair dryer component- it’s very slow and not powerful enough for me personally. I have resonably fine hair and it took so long to get it 80% dry, if your time poor I would say will still use a hair dryer. This time I used the smoothing brush to finish drying it, the straightening brush on the bottom layers and the the round brush on top layers to add some volume. These brushes I love and will use over and over, give a lovely soft smooth finish. The round brush is a game changer as it takes away the need for both a brush and drier which is hard to master, this is easy to get a good blow wave.
The oval brush was large for my hair but I found this was good for creating volume in my fine hair, I liked this attachment. The curler I used as I usually would a day after straightening, I did find I needed hair spray as usually to help them stay in but the air styler meant they were lovely soft curls not too tight. The shaping and texturising brushes were also easy to use, the video for this product is excellent. The glove which is included was great when curling as it does get hot! While it won’t replace my other hair tools completely I will be using this on week days to make getting my hair done quick and easy and looking good.
Tips: -Use the glove for getting in nice and close with the hot attachments. -I found using a combination of the attachments got the best carefree look
I was really looking forward to trying out this hair-styling tool, and it did not disappoint!
I usually blow-dry my hair and then straighten it. Both my hairdryer and strengtheners are quite old now so I’ve been looking at what it would cost to replace them both with a particular eye on Cloud Nine strengtheners. Phew! So, expensive! I was a little sceptical that I could get the same results with the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance as I can with using hair straighteners but I was pleasantly surprised!
Following the instructions from the “Air Style Brilliance Masterclass with Michael Brown” on the VS Sassoon YouTube Channel, I used the Dry Concentrate Attachment to blast dry my towel-dried hair. Then, I switched to the Paddle Brush to smooth out my naturally wavy hair. This is where I did things differently from the video. I then attached the 2-in-1 Styling Attachment that straightens and also adds volume at the roots. I must say, the results were amazing! Smooth and frizz-free hair. Super impressed!
I’ve since been experimenting with the Conical Attachment and I’m loving the look! The texture of my hair is a little coarse since I have been having blonde highlights put in compared to my hair’s natural state so I think this helps to hold the spiral curls I’ve been creating.
I’m excited to further experiment with the rest of the attachments to see what look I prefer or sometimes, just to change my look up a bit when going out for the evening. The good thing is, this kit is so versatile, I feel spoilt for choice! And, I’m loving the stylish black bag that conveniently holds all the tools which makes it perfect for travelling.
I really appreciate the versatility of this tool which allows you to switch from drying to styling and can achieve so many different looks!
I am so pleased I got the chance to try out this product! Thank you Beauty Review! No more need to look at expensive straighteners or hairdryers! I have everything I need in the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance to be able to create salon-looking hair!
Tips: To get up a running quickly with this product, be sure to watch the “Air Style Brilliance Masterclass with Michael Brown” on the VS Sassoon YouTube Channel.
I was so surprised! How much I love this! From the moment I unboxed this, the carry bag it comes in to the quality of each fitting and the styler. I may have been a little in love before even trying it. But then it got better because everything I need to make my hair look amazing is right there. Difference styles and looks can easily be achieved with this, it was easy to assemble, easy to use and looks so beautiful. Really love this!
This set is great.
At first it looked a little overwhelming with all the different parts, part there is an attachment to the cord saying what each attachment does. Saved me heaps of time going online to check! It also comes in a really stylish bag that easily fits everything in it. It looks very modern and can easily be put anywhere.
I have loose curls and my daughter has wavy hair. I used the shaping attachment every morning for my fringe. I Gota say, it’s amazing not having to hold both a brush and a hair dryer at the same time! I was able to straighten and style my bangs super fast! It was also great to smooth out my frizz when I had my hair tied up! My daughter regularly used the strengthening attachment and loved it. It won’t give you the same results as a hair straightener, but beats the results if you usually blow dry it straight with a brush.
The curling attachment offered waves, but you have to make sure you apply spray afterwards to keep them there!
All attachments done what they said they would do. Although, I did noticed some of them offered multiple functions and it was not necessary to use them all.
This is a great styling kit! I would 100% recommend to friends and family.
Tips: I always styled with damp hair. There are videos on YouTube to help you fully understand each attachment and 100% recommend watching it!
Always super some type of hold afterwards to keep the style.
I really liked how this came packaged, inside the box was a beautiful soft case which holds all the attachments and the styler itself. I love that each attachment has its own compartment in the case and that the styler itself has a clasp to wrap the cord up. There was also a glove included to use with the attachments to saving burning your hand. There is room to store extra things in the bag. I really like how fast it dries your hair. I tried it on my thin hair and my daughter's thick hair and it definitely cut down the drying time. I have given all the attachments a try and have found them all easy to use on my own hair. I love using the oval shaped brush to create that look. It also comes with a very useful instruction guide that takes you through how to use each attachment I would recommend to those of you who use a brush and hair drier to ditch them and give this a go, definitely worth buying
Tips: Watch the tutorial videos on the VS web page/using the link on the instructions on how to use it is a game changer
I have two teenagers in the house (14 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter) who are both extremely obsessed with their hair at the moment, so we were all pretty excited when the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance box arrived. The black and rose gold zipware case is lovely and stylish as well as being very practical. It has separate compartments for each attachment so they won’t get damaged if you're travelling and it would look great if you were to take it away on holiday.
Before we used it, we all watched the recommended video ‘How to use Air Style Brilliance’ and then we also watched the ‘Air Style Brilliance Masterclass with Michael Brown’. It’s a great idea to see it being used in action before having a go yourself. Perfect for teenagers to watch rather than reading the instructions although they were slightly impatient and just wanted to get straight into using it.
The attachments click into place really easily and also release just as easily with a two click button release. It is recommended that your hair is about 80% dry before styling it so we let my son use the drying attachment while my daughter and I used our hairdryers.
My son has short back and sides with a mop on top which has a bit of natural wave to it but he would prefer it to be curlier so he loved using the conical curling attachment. The glove was definitely needed on his hair as it is much shorter than ours.
My daughter’s favourites were the round brushes as she has long layers and usually puts a roller/rollers in her front layers but the brushes made it much easier to style and also much faster. This is perfect now that she’s back at school as it means less time taking up the bathroom in the morning for hairstyling.
My favourites were the smoothing and straightening attachments for frizz free straight/sleek hair and also the curling attachment which both my daughter and I used on our hair. The volumiser also gives your hair that ‘just been to the hairdresser’ styled look and it’s great as you’re not having to hold a brush and hairdryer together so it’s much easier and more efficient.
We all love everything about the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance and it is definitely getting a workout between the three of us (luckily my husband doesn’t have enough hair to style otherwise it could have been four of us). We had fun using it during the school holidays on our own hair, as well as each other's hair, with some interesting styling ideas from the teenagers.
I would highly recommend the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance for anyone that styles their hair and wants a variety of different styling options with the added bonus of drying and styling in one. It’s also fantastic for families with different types of hair and different styles as it caters for everyone.
Tips: Watch the styling videos first to see how each attachment is used, then start experimenting.
When I first opened up the box, I was already impressed with the leathery chic looking soft case - no needed to worry where I could put all the attachments, I just needed to simply bring the case into bathroom after shower. Having Youtube videos available for instruction was also bonus for me as I was struggling to understand how each attachment worked differently.
I was impressed how it did no damage to my heavily processed yet thick hair whilst it's drying. I did no changes in my hair routine but noticed shine even after "hair styling" with the device. I used to hate drying my hair as it would take ages and make my hair feel a bit dry, but with this product, I found the experience very joyful.
In terms of functionality, I often end up doing ponytail to work whenever I tried "styling my hair" as I could never get my left side right with brush on one hand and hair dryer on another hand. With this product, I was NOT struggling at all as the brush was already attached to the dryer so I just needed to make sure that I'm using one hand right.
If anyone is thinking of getting hair styling devices, I would definitely recommend this as it has all the attachments to do everyday-hair to fancier-than-usual style!
Tips: Make sure your hair is not too dry and try to hold when styling the ends to keep the style. For everyday hair, my favourite attachments were "volumises" for ends and "shapes" for fringes. if you have flat top, then use "straightens" for a bit of volume (I know this doesn't sound right but it's 2-in-1 attachment!) Don't start with completely dry hair - best if you dried about 70% ish after shower.
The Air Style comes in a really attractive but highly practical zippable carry case. I love how each part and attachment has its own dedicated slot. Now I just need to be disciplined enough to make sure I put it away properly. In saying that, it's quire a sizable case so not sure I'll be packing the whole thing when travelling by air, but great for popping in the car.
It has a really long power cord so no need to stand right on top of a mirror. Which helps to be able to reach out and to the back of your head - but that's where a few extra hands would come in handy.
There are some really good videos on their website that explain what each attachment does and how to use it. Most of them show someone else using it on a model, so yeah and extra get hands or an extra person would be great as it does take a bit of trial and error to use it on the back of your own head, especially with long hair (mine is mid-back length).
It recommends that your hair is roughly dried to about 80% before using the styling attachments. I did often revert to my hairdryer for this as I didn't quite find it powerful enough to dry on its own. However it's more than powerful (and hot) enough when using the attachments.
I have very fine straight hair but this thing creates volume! It also shapes well and quickly. I'm yet to be convinced how well it will curl as I've not been brave enough to try that yet. My hairdresser has spent the best part of a decade trying to curl my hair and has finally given up, defeated as it just doesn't hold curls. But this might be my saviour?
The unexpected find in the case was the heatproof glove - seems such a simple thing, but greatly appreciated as without it it would be unbearable to have your fingers so close to the heat for so long. It's great that it can be used on either hand too - althoughbit is a bit on the small side (I don't have massive hands and it's a bit snug!)
Definitely recommend though - just be prepared to need a bit of practice!
Tips: Use the heatproof glove!! Be prepared to spend a bit of time (and probably a bit longer than you'd think!) to get used to it
