I bought one of these to try something different. I had not seen the brush, I simply bought it as is. When I got this home, I decided to give it a try and was very surprised,
The brush is quite a stiff brush, quite flat on one side, and is tapered at the end. I quite like brushes like this as the stiffness combs through the lashes better, and the tapered point helps to get those inner corners. The thing that surprised me the most, was the fibers. I had not expected it to come with fibers and am quite impressed. So on top of beautifully combed lashes, I now had the added benefit of extra length!
The one thing that did put me off was the fact it had a slight orange scent, and for me, I really dislike false orange scented things so this was a little strange for me.
All in all, a great mascara as long as you don't mind the scent.
I was stuck with no makeup on a road trip and so had to rush around the shops trying to find cheap but value replacements. I was going to be away for a week and $2 shop stuff just wasn't going to cut it this time. I bought this from Postie Plus for $10 which I thought was a good price for apparent good mascara.
The packaging is cute enough. It is hot pink and looks pretty in my makeup bag. The wand I don't like much. It;s quite harsh on my lashes and tends to pull them. The mascara itself is quite thick and comes out in big blobs on the end of the wand.
I start from the roots of my lashes and zig zag back and forth to get the product right in to every lash. They do look nice and full and long, The problem is it dries and goes hard. It makes my lashes stick together and appear like five or six big lashes. I wanted show stopper, but all I got was make it stop!!!
I had to just deal with it because it was all I had at the time. I thought maybe I could get used to it and maybe able to like it more. The more I used it the more I wanted to make the 6 hour journey home to get my HG mascara,
If you need a mascara in an emergency this is great but don't make it your everyday must have mascara. I like my lashes to maintain its natural soft look without looking like drag lashes urgh, no thanks!
Tips: Try and coat every single lash to avoid letting them stick together
