Did not like this shadow at all. Bought it as it was cheap and I'm a sucker for a purple eyeshadow but was left quite disappointed. The pigment was useless and trying to apply it at all was a hard job and you'd probably have better luck colouring in your eyelids with a crayon

I saw how cheap these were at Farmers, and as a glitter eyeshadow lover I picked up five of these; I purchased a white, gold, purple, pale pink, and red. The packaging is very simple; the eyeshadow comes in a black container with a clear lid. The shadow name is on the sticker that seals the product so once opened, you lose the product name which is a bit annoying for identifying each shade. The shadow is described as a 'glitter cream' shadow but really its a clear gel with large pieces of glitter in it. It literally looks and feels like vaseline mixed with kids craft glitter, or half-dried up kids glitter glue. Needless to say, with it's gel like texture, this feels like kids make up and is impossible to use. The eyeshadow is predominantly clear so you can't build up any colour and wear this on it's own, it just looks like you've smeared wet glitter on your eyelids. This doesn't dry down either so within about five minutes of applying this I've ended up with glitter smeared up to my eyebrows and everywhere but my eyelids. This also doesn't layer over regular eyeshadow either to use as a topper, it just pulls off the eyeshadow below it and smears it everywhere. The glitter feels very grainy, which puts me off as someone with sensitive eyes. No matter what I have tried to do with these, I just couldn't get these to work and look decent. They don't dry down, they don't build up a nice amount of colour or glitter, they don't layer well over eyeshadow, they don't stay in place, and they don't look good. I just don't have anything good to say about these. The pans are also shallow, and due to the gel texture, if you apply too much pressure in one swipe of the shadow, you can hit pan on your first use of this. I've tried to use these up by using them as body glitter instead, but as they are greasy and don't dry down, even that's not a viable option. I wouldn't use these again.
Got this in my wet and wild bag at the womans lifestyle expo. Glitter is not aomething that i normally would buy never mind wear.
I like to try everything and i had it so why not. Its a glitter gel already not liking it. So i try to apply it well it not easy it just felt harsh on my eyes and the glitter went everywhere. Mayne this is for a younger girl maybe school girls but i dont lile it.
I love purple, so any chance to get my hands on anything in this colour is a must have.
However, I was so disappointed by this product.
Firstly, trying to get into the packaging was ridiculous. So many sticker bits to pull off, then once they were off, I really struggled to actually open the case and when I did, my finger got caught and dug a big hole into it. I don't think I've been so frustrated by a makeup product in all my life.
Secondly, the formula is super weak and is literally just like coloured glitter. The colour pay off was minimal and it was like applying glitter glue to my eye, did not blend at all.
Unfortunately would not re-purchase or recommend it.
Purchased a couple of these as they are so super cheap and look gorgeous. I was hoping for a nice glitter shadow that would work well with matte eyeshadows. When I swatched these once I got home, I realised how bad they were. They feel like glue with a couple of tiny glitter pieces, When you rub them on the eye nothing sticks and your just left with sticky - glued eyelids. Definitely wont be purchasing again.
Let me preface this by saying: I've never used a glitter shadow before so maybe I'm doing this all wrong??
But blegh, this was the worst. Fortunately my plans were cancelled after applying so I didn't have to leave the house with it, as the glitter leeched into my eyeballs and gave me serious irritation, lol!
These look like they'd be powder but are actually a gel-like consistency that feels wet to apply. Hard to build any colour, its like a clear gel with glitter in it. I bought a 4 pack and will probably never use them again!
I bought this from Farmers for around $2-$3 to for the final touches for my witch look for Halloween last year. I got the shade Binge, which is a beautiful purple colour and it’s in a very cute compact square case of approximately 3cm x 3cm in size. This glitter is meant to be used for the face and body.
I used my index finger to rub and dab the glitter. It had a soft sticky feeling to it and not a lot of glitter stuck onto my finger. I dabbed it just around my eye area to have a pretty sparkly look. I had to apply few layers on for the glitter to look noticeable on my face. It didn’t feel sticky on my face though, but it wasn’t long wearing or crease resistant like it was supposed be. It faded away within an hour, which was a shame because other Wet n Wild products I’ve used have been great.
I didn’t break the bank or anything with this glitter, so I couldn’t be too disappointed with it. I definitely won’t be using it again. This is probably best for children to give a subtle glittery and sparkly look when they dress up.
Tips: It can be used on clear makeup free skin or as a final touch after applying makeup.
I bought these at farmers on sale for $2 each. I got a light pink one and a white one, I’m not sure what the shade names are because they don’t say on the packaging. When you search the glitter it comes out like you just stuck glue to yourself with a clear balm. The glitter also spreads very thinly, so you have to build it up a lot. It also isn’t smudge proof and will easily move around, and it leaves your skin with a slightly sticky texture to it. It would be better to just mix some glitter with balm. I’m not sure if I would trust it around my eyes either, as I have heard that glitter can cut your eyes and with the amount this moves around I wouldn’t trust it
I bought this for .99c. Only bought the purple one called Binge because the other colors were out of stock. I used my fingers to apply the product on my eyes. Dont know how the product ended up more on my fingers than my eyes. Maybe should have used some sort of an applicator?
Very pretty in the pan. Looks very concentrated but when you swatch its like vaseline with specks of glitter on it. You might have to build it up but it take a lot of time to dry up inbetween.
Havent given up on it totally. kept it for haloween looks. Will not buy again unless I learn how to properly use it!
These pressed glitters are really bad. The pans fall out of the compact which is hard to open and close. The glitter looks nice in the pan but it's super messy to apply and doesn't dry down? It's almost like a gel balm with glitter in, no good for the eyes at all.
