Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder, Precious Petals Review

I was on the hunt for this highlighter for ages! When I finally saw it I grabbed it as it has only had amazing reviews. When I first tried it out i was blown away!! The shine it gives you on your skin is so beautiful and amazing! If you just want a subtle glow use a very very light hand. Also it is incredibly affordable and how cute is the imprint in the product! All in all I love this product!

I've been wanting to try this for ages and was so happy to see it in stock during my last trip to Farmers.

First of all the packaging is pretty basic - black plastic with a clear plastic cover. The product makes up for this simplicity (and I guess when you're paying 12.99 you can hardly expect fancy materials to be used).

I love the pattern on this highlighter and it hurts me to think one day it will be gone - but gone it will as this has quickly become the highlighter I reach for every day. On my skin there's no noticeable colour change, BUT there is this gorgeous natural glow - no chunky glitter, it blends right in.

If you're wanting to be seen from outer space, this might not be for you, but if you're wanting something natural yet that has impact, pick it up for sure!

I love this highlighter so much! I don’t really care too much for the packaging or presentation I just love the product itself. It has a lovely glow on the skin, not blindingly bright, but it can be super bright if you add a setting spray to the product on the brush. It is not chunky at all and it blends beautifully!

This shade in particular is quite universal and should work on many skin tones. Beautiful warm rose gold undertone with finely milled shimmer highlight. Looks beautiful on the skin and works really well as an eyeshadow as well.

This highlighter is amazing. It is better than a number of my high end expensive highlighters and its only $13 at Farmers. I am blown away by how great this is, so reflective and shimmery without being glittering and chunky. It is perfect.

I got this highlighter as a gift and I am so stoked with it. It looks gorgeous, picks up really well on the brush and applies nicely to the face. It has a beautiful glow and lasts me the entire day.

The only thing with it is that you do need to tap off a bit of the excess so it doesn't get everywhere.

I picked this up on a whim when placing a Farmers order online. I had read good reviews about wet n wild highlighters but not being able to swatch the shade was a worry initially.

Precious petals is a gorgeous peachy/golden shade with shimmery undertones. I have quite pale skin so I was worried it may be too dark but the colour is very buildable and flattering on my porcelain skin. It leaves a lovely glow without being glittery. It is definitely a highlighter most skin types can use. I apply this using the wet n wild fan brush as I find I get a more subtle look.

The plastic packaging isn't what I would consider high-end, the lid marks easily and has already broken at the hinge but considering the size of the pan and the price I can live with this.

This is a really beautiful highlighter and is a steal for $12.99. It has become one of my go to highlighters and I highly recommend this shade.

For the price, I absolutely love this highlighter. The color is so pretty and builds up very well. A little goes a long way and it's a very nice highlighter for day to day use.

I own 2 of these, in the shades Precious Petals and Blossom Glow. Precious Petals is more of a gold colour and Blossom Glow is more pink and I love them both.

They are excellent for a sheer glow, but can be built up with more product. I've found they apply both better with a stiff brush and they blend out smoothly.

They work just as well, if not better, than most high-end highlighters that I've tried. I can't recommend these enough, I think they are so good for the price!

If you're looking for that beautiful glow from the infamous BECCA X Jaclyn hill champagne pop but don't want to fork out a lot of money then this is the one to try. It is highly pigmented and glides on smoothly. I've tested this to see how long it lasts and it stayed on the whole day. Overall highly recommend and will always go for this when I'm going out with friends or special occasion!
