Very reasonably priced, but it is very thin, smells like paint and the it applies quite patchy. I would say it is medium coverage, whereas I was expecting full coverage. I use it to dilute darker foundations in my preferred brands. I like how it has a spatula applicator.

Tips: Wouldn’t recommend for use with a brush. Sponge only.
I heard a LOT of You Tubers tall about how amazing this foundation was. I was super excited to try it as the price tag is amazing! Unfortunately it showed up every pore and line :( I tried with and without primer, different moisturizer and even tried adding an oil. A big pass for me. Maybe my skin is too dry or more suitable for younger skin (38 here). For the price it's not a big investment if you want to try for yourself.
It started with the applicator. Not love at first sight. Then the smell and finish wasn't great either. Disappointed because it was hyped up by influencers.
This is my go-to every day foundation. It is not super long wearing but gives the perfect natural - medium and buildable coverage I like for my work day. Its SUPER affordable and each bottle last a few months. The Dewy version is my favourite as it and makes my skin look soft and hydrated.
Tips: Apply with a damn sponge for a natural skin like look. Would not recommend as a 'going out' foundation on its own as it will not last too long if your sweating etc. However add power and a primer and you'll be good!
Not super Cakey, it has amazing coverage! Best foundation I’ve ever bought. Get so many compliments on my skin and everybody asks me what foundation I use. Covers my acne perfectly
Tips: Use with a beauty blender x
With the cost of living rising I have been looking at some more cost effective makeup. I had heard good things about wet n wild so gave it a go. I was happy with the product, good coverage, buildable, the only thing I didn't like was the scoopy stick you use to get it out. I prefer a pump!
I first bought this foundation for my daughter dance recitals as it was one of the few that matched her skin tone and it was a bargain price. I loved the formula and the longevity so much that I bought some for myself and now only use this foundation instead of my previous favourite Lancôme. It goes on smoothly and effortlessly. There are many shades and it lasts all day with the perfect amount of coverage that looks natural but flawless. Highly recommend for the bargain price of around $12.
I decided to try this foundation both because I had heard good things about it, and because I found it on sale! This review is for the shade “Rose Ivory”.
The Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation comes in a square clear glass bottle with a black plastic lid. The bottle is 30ml. Attached to the lid is a paddle-shaped applicator. The flat-sided applicator allows you to wipe off any excess product onto the side of the bottle’s opening. I like to then apply to the applicator directly onto my face and then blend the foundation out with a beauty sponge. The foundation is easy to blend. The coverage is medium to full, and it gives a slightly dewy finish, which I like. The shade “Rose Ivory” is also a perfect match for my pale skin.
My skin is dry, sensitive, and I have fine lines. The Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation does not irritate my skin. It also does not look cakey, blends well, sits nicely over my moisturise, and it does not sink into my fine lines. I have been setting this with a powder and setting spray after application, but I will still say that it lasts well throughout the day and does not shift, oxidise, or rub off. The only drawback is the smell. The foundation smells very much of chemicals, although it is not noticeable once it is applied.
Altogether I am very satisfied with this foundation. I think it gives the formula from more expensive brands a run for their money I definitely recommend it if you are on the hunt for a cheaper equivalent for more expensive foundation.
It’s not the best foundation I’ve ever used but I did find that my skin had a bit of a “blur” effect. For the price it’s a great foundation! It’s accessible and affordable. It is very fragranced however, smells very chemically.
Tips: Apply with a stippling brush first and then blend with a sponge.
I have this in the shade Soft Ivory, which is a perfect shade match for me. As other people have mentioned, this foundation does smell like paint. Fortunately, the smell doesn't last long. Also, I'm not really that keen on the spatula, as I prefer not to apply foundation directly to my face, but onto my hand first, and then apply with a brush. But that's more of a me problem. Aside from that, this foundation is excellent! It's medium-to-full coverage, and doesn't look at all cakey.
