I was sceptical at first to try this foundation given the extremely affordable price. However after trying it a few times I was instantly hooked. I really like the finish of this foundation too, it leaves a subtle glow but doesn't feel oily on my face. As for the Photo Focus part I fully back that statement! My skin always looks amazing when I take photos wearing this foundation, no flashback and doesn't look cakey. Highly recommend if you're after an affordable new foundation.

Tips: I have found that it performs the same whether I use a primer or not. It blends flawlessly into my skin with either a brush or makeup sponge.
My skin is naturally Oily and this stuff helps keep the oil at bay. I do have to apply powder after a few hours but who cares still looks good lol.
This foundation is Medium coverage but you are able to put more on to give it a fuller look. The shade range is pretty good too eve,n if you have to mix two different colors you aren't breaking the bank since they're so affordable.
I'm not very experienced with makeup, so this was only the second foundation I'd tried. I found it super easy to use, and was pretty happy with the coverage. I did find it really showed my dry patches, but most foundations I've tried since have
This is my go-to every day foundation. It is not super long wearing but gives the perfect natural - medium and buildable coverage I like for my work day. Its SUPER affordable and each bottle last a few months. The Dewy version is my favourite as it and makes my skin look soft and hydrated.
Tips: Apply with a damn sponge for a natural skin like look. Would not recommend as a 'going out' foundation on its own as it will not last too long if your sweating etc. However add power and a primer and you'll be good!
I decided to try this foundation both because I had heard good things about it, and because I found it on sale! This review is for the shade “Rose Ivory”.
The Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation comes in a square clear glass bottle with a black plastic lid. The bottle is 30ml. Attached to the lid is a paddle-shaped applicator. The flat-sided applicator allows you to wipe off any excess product onto the side of the bottle’s opening. I like to then apply to the applicator directly onto my face and then blend the foundation out with a beauty sponge. The foundation is easy to blend. The coverage is medium to full, and it gives a slightly dewy finish, which I like. The shade “Rose Ivory” is also a perfect match for my pale skin.
My skin is dry, sensitive, and I have fine lines. The Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation does not irritate my skin. It also does not look cakey, blends well, sits nicely over my moisturise, and it does not sink into my fine lines. I have been setting this with a powder and setting spray after application, but I will still say that it lasts well throughout the day and does not shift, oxidise, or rub off. The only drawback is the smell. The foundation smells very much of chemicals, although it is not noticeable once it is applied.
Altogether I am very satisfied with this foundation. I think it gives the formula from more expensive brands a run for their money I definitely recommend it if you are on the hunt for a cheaper equivalent for more expensive foundation.
Whilst doing makeup for a musical production, this foundation was an absolute diamond in the rough with the other products they had available to us. It is thin, yet quite full coverage, and very easy to work with. I found that it worked well on many different skin types and didn't bring out any texture and the colour was very versatile, not too orange, etc. It stayed on well and looked nice under stage lights, and doesn't set fast while you are still working with it. I can easily recommend this to anyone looking for a foundation that can be used in an array of different situations.
Tips: Set with press powder for a matte look, but using without press powder leaves the look dewy and still doesn't transfer too much!
This foundation has a great demi-matte finish, is easy to blend and has good medium/build-able coverage. With that being said, the shade range for this particular foundation is not very good. I am very fair (MAC NC15 or preferred NC10) and I found this foundation to be quite dark on me. The different undertones are fantastic, as I usually opt for a more neutral undertone. I used my L.A Girl HD white mixer foundation which helped a lot. The foundation lasts through an 8 hour working day and did not stick to any of my dry patches as I have dry to very dry skin. This foundation works best for me with a damp sponge over a brush as it helps to keep some moisture in my skin
Tips: Use a white mixer such as the L.A Girl HD foundation in White to lighten the shade. For dry skin use a damp sponge over a brush to keep skin hydrated
This foundation has a good amount of coverage, but I can’t stand the smell. It smells like paint, it blends in nicely to the skin with a sponge. I also like that it’s around $15.
Great all rounder foundation. I find it great for day to day use and for getting dressed up for going out
When I saw Jeffrey Star review this, I knew I had to try it & I was so glad I did! Value for money, amazing product that holds its own against higher end foundations boasting the same results. Holds up well on my oily skin, even in the summer heat!
