Wet 'n' Wild Silk Finish Lip Color

I brought the colour Will You Be Mine which is a pretty nude/pink shade with more blue undertones then red,a lovely colour that looks great on and can be worn either day time or night time.The colour is quite pigmented but unfortunately I found it didn't last long enough on my lips especially after eating and drinking.My lips did feel moisturised and the lipstick didn't look flakey or drying either so it was pleasant to wear.For the price it is an affordable lipstick and the colour range is gorgeous to choose from but the quality is not the best if you want a more lasting lipstick.

I bought this cheap on Beauty Joint (I paid less than $4 NZ), and LOVE the colour - a deep, vampy, brown. I think 'silky finish' is the perfect way to describe it really, its not matte, nor is it metallic. I had been looking for a colour like this for awhile and its just perfect.

I previously found the Mega Last ones to be very dry on me, so this formula was more comfortable to wear, and never felt dry. Unfortunately you don't get a lot of wear time out of them, especially with eating and drinking. Definitely not a good lipstick for a night out! I barely get a few hours out of it. Having said that, a newer formula has been released in the past year, so you may find that more successful.

We're always talking about having a primed foundation for any beauty product to be apply and this lipstick is no exception....

I picked up this lipstick dirt cheap in SA and got the colour Peach Sunrise. This colour is a pastel coral that is creamy and buttery with lots of shimmer included in the formula. Unfortunately this compilation is not a favourite of mine. I love the buttery, creamy consistency but this lipstick has way too much shimmer for everyday wear.

In addition to the creamy consistency this lipstick is sheer and will show up every imperfection on your lips if they're not flawless. I always have dry lips and just the slightest bit of dryness shows through this lipstick. Your lips need to be perfect is you want to rock this lipstick.

I'm not too impressed by the presentation of the lipstick because the bullet is very cheap plastic and the lipstick lid would probably break if you closed the lipstick just a bit too hard. For the price you pay I can understand that packaging would be matched.

This lipstick is not long lasting at all and you will probably get 2 hours maximum wear from this lipstick.

Overall... The price of the lipstick means you get what you pay for. I wouldnt purchase another one of these lipstick because I can purchase other brands that would be a better quality and also have the consistency and formula that I love.

Its a good lipstick for the price, I have a dozen shades and love them but they are not as opaque as I would like.

I originally purchased one of these lipsticks in the states and there it was the equivalent of something like $3 NZ so in that perspective it was bang on! Totally worth it.

I purchased a plum shade, wore it today after forgetting why it is at the bottom of the pile, and then I remembered! This lipstick bleeds like there is no tomorrow, even after lip liner. It is also quite a "wet" lipstick. It ends up going opaque on the lip quite quickly and needs to be re-applied numerous times.

The container is not overly nice, but then I was never expecting a sleek MAC style container for $3. The colour is stunning, I am sure that many of the other colours are also lovely. However, I am sure that spending a little more and going for a brand like Rimmel would be wayyyyyy better long term.

I was given one of these lipsticks by a friend of mine, a lovely bright pink. I was excited to try it. But unfortunately I did not like the texture - it didn't really apply evenly to my lips - i applied it to my bare lips but perhaps it works better if applied over a lip balm? it had no staying power - a half hour tops on my lips?! And i have no time at work to keep reaplying. The packaging was quite flimsy and budget looking. Will not purchase in the future, I would rather invest my money in another brand.

I bought these lipsticks in three shades, because they were just so so pretty and of course on sale from nzsale. Of course I had to buy them. I find the colours are really vibrant and pretty and the texture feels nice. It's not the best but it's certainly not the worst out there either. You'd have to reapply this lipstick during the course of the day, but that's a small price to pay for the cost and the colour payoff.

I bought a lot of these while I was in America (99c each, why would I not?!) and I LOVE the colours and the pigmentation. The only downside was that it really didn't last long- it was similar texture to a lip butter and wore off in about half an hour. However for the price I can't complain and I'll happily reapply every hour :)

I tried a couple of these and ended up giving them away. Was disappointed because I do really like the mega last lip colours by wet and wild. I didn't like the consistency and the colours I got looked really old school and a bit eighties. The packaging is also very plasticy and cheap - but sometimes you do get what you pay for with cheaper products.
