I received this product and was immediately struck by the simple but cute packaging which I personally really like! The product is specifically for young skin, oil-free, has a SPF of 15 and is very natural. Which are my favorite things to hear in a product. I found the moisturiser to be extremely creamy in consistency which worried me a bit as I have fairly oily skin. But if I used it sparingly and rubbed in properly it can be absorbed easily enough. Although I found that a little of the product would still sit on the top of my skin and after a few hours my skin would already be a bit oily. Therefore this product would be suited for a person with dry to even combination skin, but not oily like mine. It also helped my acne prone skin and I have found it to be a great moisturiser besides the fact that it is not mattifying. Overall I will probably use up all of the product, but will not re-purchase, as I do love most of the products properties but I wish it didn't make my skin as oily as it does.

Tips: Best for dry to combination skin types, but not for oily skin. If you do want to use this and get oily skin use it sparingly or as a night cream.
This product was alright it wasn't that amazing but the SPF was really good. There was no irritation which was good. Overall this was an alright product.
Received a couple of sample packets of this moisturiser and really liked it - left my skin feeling really nice and soft and it smells good for a facial moisturiser. Only down side was that it's quite a thick consistency and I prefer light moisturisers for everyday.
No irritation or anything, but nothing spectacular. Was not too moisturising and a little thick but maybe that was the sunscreen?
I was lucky enough to win a tube of this in a competition a while back and had never heard of Scarlett & Greene before that. It's a really good product, it feels really light and non-greasy which is a must for me. It offers quite good protection for everyday use. I love that it is made in NZ, contains nice ingredients and is not tested on animals! I would definitely buy this again.
This is a nice moisturiser but it is very thick. It almost feels like you're using a sunblock. I really like how it is made in New Zealand and that it is a natural product. It makes your skin feel soft and also protects it from the sun. I would use it again.
At first I found the consistency of this moisuriser a bit too much like sunscreen (compared to the more runny moisturisers that I normally use). I used this over multiple days and felt the difference with smoother skin, especially over my cheek area. The added SPF makes it a perfect moisturiser for summer, and I now have it in my bag for the beach!
Tips: You only need a little bit, as it shows up quite white on your face like sunscreen does. It does soak even eventually though.
Looking at the description, this moisturiser seems to tick all the boxes! Plenty of good points there - not animal tested, chemical and fragrance free.
The moisturiser itself was really nice. Not too thick, non-greasy and kept my face feeling nice all day (with the added benefit of SPF15!).
The only thing I wasn't really a fan of was the smell. Other reviewers seem to like the smell, so it looks like I'm in the minority here.
Its hard to find a good SPF moisturiser that doesn't smell of sunblock and feel like sunblock and this moisturiser does neither.
It does kind of have the consistency of sunblock but when used sparingly and thoroughly rubbed in it sits pretty lightly on the skin. At first it feels a touch sticky but it does soak in nicely so give it time.
I love that it is PH balanced as I notice a big difference when my skin isn't balanced so its handy that you don't have to use a toner with this moisturiser.
Overall it is a pretty good daily moisturiser and my favourite part about it is definitely how it feels quite light and gives your skin space to breathe.
I was immediately drawn to the Scarlett & Greene Under Cover moisturiser, because I have skin that is sensitive and prone to breakouts. Was super excited to try it - NZ brands are always something I love to support, plus the ingredients looked amazing!
However, I found this product gave me a horrible breakout almost as soon as I started wearing it. I'm still not too sure why! But was pretty disappointed.
Aside from that, I love the simple and functional packaging of this product, and the gorgeous design. The consistency of the moisturiser was also quite nice, although a bit thicker than I usually would want. It had no scent, and I found it didn't smooth in as easily as other products. Love the idea though, and will definitely be checking out other Scarlett & Greene products :-)
