This came up in the responses to an article recently and it's had me thinking.
My synthetic scent allergy goes with a dust mite allergy and I take a ton of antihystamines and Flixonase to counteract it. My bedding is dust mite protected (that wasn't cheap!) and I have mild hayfever urgh. Allergies!
Sometimes I walk into a pharmacy and get a whiff of that 'old granny smell' and have to leave. I walked past a younger woman on the street the other day and she had the 'old granny' smell. Someone must be bottling the 'old granny' smell and selling it lol.
I haven't worn scent or scented products in a long time but essential oils are fine. I made my own solid perfume a while back which was great fun.
I also recently found Purity Fragrances in my local organic/wholefood shop and the scents are lovely and I can actually wear them!
Now I'm on the hunt for other non-scented products. I notice Trilogy have two and they come in a roller ball bottle like their intensive eye treatment.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think I need to go to a Lush store. Some of those perfumes look gorgeous!
I'm going to have to try one of those solid deoderants too, they look pretty good.
Macs - they have testers of the Trilogy ones on the stands and they recently put out another one called Raha I think. I want to go try it out too.
itsclearascrystal - I'm yet to do an iherb order, I've been resisting because it would be dangerous lol :)

I'm reading this and can smell my gorgeous living nature face mask I have on, and feel sorry you can't smell it !! You're right, essential oils are probably the way to go. You can use vinegar for a deodorant and then when its dry add a little of your favourite oil to your under arms for a scent. I have no idea how well the vinegar works - it'll be a great deodorant for sure ( as it kills bacteria), but maybe not so great antiperspirant. Might be worth trying when you're planning a day at home!!
You will have to dig around ebay for a sample if you want to try this but you could try Not a Perfume by Juliette has a Gun. While World stores carry this brand in Auckland, they don't have this one in particular. It's a bit of a gamble/waiting game for someone to post a listing for a fair price on ebay however so keep that in mind.
Other than that I can only suggest essential oils. Of course, you can layer them to get a more complex scent!
