So, who has been to Cosco? We have been twice, the first time was a bit of a look around but the second time was a good look and quite a few purchases. I found the products were super sized or packaged into lots of 3 or more. I think it is good for maybe a monthly shop for your essentials. I can see how easy it would be to get carried away so you will need to go with all of your willpower

I hope we do get one in the South Island. There's talk of one coming to the suburb over from me :-). Were there a lot of brands you hadn't heard of?

It would be nice to have a look around, it may come to the South Island. I'd love to see Ikea down here and I hear Aldi is good too.

There are heaps of brands I havent heard of! Kirkland is Costcos own brand. There were a lot of well known brands that we are familiar with. Gosh, there ate some BIG packets of all sorts of things. I wish they had been here when our kids were at home, they have huge boxes of cereals, snacks and all sorts of goodies. I have heard they are looking at Christchurch, so that will be awesome for you all there.

I've not been but would be really interested to have a look around! I like my mayonnaise so could always do with a giant tub of that lol.

I haven't been but got a couple of bowls of frozen wontons from a friend. They were so good.. wish there was more in that bowl. Yum.

I went day 3 it was open. It was a mish and a half but glad I went. Mostly purchased for family but picked up a couple of items for myself. The snack cheese sticks were my fav purchase this round. Will be getting the French Macarons next time.

I have seen post on the costco page on Facebook and oh my! People have gone a bit nuts to be honest! They are spending so much money!!! In saying that, I do believe you are getting value for your money, especially if you like to bulk buy.

Very evident from the Costco Facebook page aye. Haven't been back since I first went. That's mostly just due to the queues I hear there still are. Maybe in the new year or after everyone goes away for the xmas/new year holidays.
