I'm currently in Tokyo for a bit of a visit and was wondering if anyone would be interested in hearing more about beauty trends and products here. If so, anything you're curious about in particular? I currently read an article in a beauty mag here about "pheromone hair" styling, for example. ;)

Yes please, that would be so interesting and maybe funny, they sometimes have some quirky ideas and sometimes brilliant. I just had a quick google on Japanese pheromone hair and it said to strengthen hair while attracting the opposite sex hmmmmm what are the latest beauty trends in Japan?

Oh I'd love to hear about it, I'm fascinated by other culture's trends especially the Japanese, I akin to the haijuku style with my passion for Lime Crime and anime styles. Be keen to read about what you experience =D

I love all Japanese' beauty brands! I have been using their drugstore brand Canmake for awhile now and I just adore their products :p Have you used any Japanese makeup brands while you were in Japan?

Kay: Canmake is fantastic, love that brand. I also like Dolly Wink and it's sister brand Candy Doll. Korea also has some amazing cosmetics. I bought a Witches Pouch lipstick that has great color and consistency plus randomly smells like roses.

I have lived in Tokyo for a few weeks due to business. Yet I haven't heard of that hair style. I think the fashion and beauty trends and products in Japan are quite unique and distinguishable to others'. The Japanese makeup style is one of the best examples.
