Hey ladies!

I'm wanting to know if anybody has suggestions on how to grow healthy hair?!
When I fell pregnant in December I started to notice my hair had gotten incredibly short. Although my hair has been so long for years! The funny thing is, I didn't cut it.. so was so curious and a bit concerned as to why my hair had gotten so short. I thought it might have been my pregnancy making me go through a stage of hair loss. I've just had my baby but my hair still isn't growing! My ends are so damaged from using hot hair tools. Now, would this be why my hair isn't growing? Would it be time for a trim to make room for my hair to grow nice and healthy? Please help me out, any tips/advice would be much appreciated!!

A hair, skin and nail supplement wouldn't hurt and possibly a cut to remove your damaged ends. Hair loss is normal after having a baby but not sure about it affecting the length. I think you're best to see a doctor in case it's something else.

Biotin is a supplement which is good for hair growth, fish oil is as well, but you must take enough for it to be beneficial.

Congratulations and welcome to motherhood if it's your first time :) I would suggest that you get your ferretin levels checked and vitamin B12 too. I had massive hair loss with my second baby. Also rosemary is really good for hair growth. You can boil rosemary stems with leaves and some mint for few minutes and then stain the water and let it cool. Spray that water in your roots day and night. It helped me a lot.

I definitely shed like crazy after I had my baby. I would recommend getting a good trim and perhaps like others have suggested a supplement. There is a nz company called good for me and I've heard really good things.....have a look as they have some deals atm.

I bought the Bondi boost hair growth spray from Farmers on a whim a few months ago - I was pretty sure it wouldn't work, but I am sure it has been! I have lots more baby hairs, and my hair is the longest it has been in years (it usually gets so thin as it grows, but it has stayed thick).
