Cadbury Black Forest is a favorite, haven't had it for awhile but will buy some today. I'm sure I'll get around to trying the Whittaker version.

Dinner last night was Subway. Definitely feeling sandwich vibes with the warmer weather.

Pasta bake with half pasta, half broccoli, and some of the chicken, vegie and tomato pasta sauce I made over the weekend, with a bit o' cheese. Yum. Haven't used that broccoli trick for ages, it's such a good one

Received an Uber Eats code for 6 free deliveries so used that. Had crispy chicken and chips with slaw. Leftovers for lunch today.

Got my hands on the Cadbury Pinky, I like! Whittakers Black Forest out of stock.

I had chopped bananas and kiwifruit, drizzled with liquid honey and some flaxseeds and chia seeds. Off-setting the junk food consumed during the day ...

Tacos were okay. Theyre basically what i make now but a different sauce so. Not that impressed with it haha but they were pretty yum so cant complain too much

Burning the nachos is a crime!

shaz I cook all the vegies and have them for lunch usually, but I've fed back to HF a few times now that they need to do a single portions menu coz some of those recipes make 3/4 portions and I don't wanna eat leftovers all week lol

Tell me about it!! Its actually insane the amount of carrots i got. Like enough to last the month O_O

I mean we did get the 2 people one but honestly, tis insane. I ended up halving the meat as the portion was way to big, so now i have extra in the freezer haha

I guess the excess is how they justify charging what they do, I reckon the recipes could easily be trimmed enough to bring the 3 meals for 2 ppl box to $75 ish

Oh easily! Its a shame they dont cater to single people but i guess theyre all LeFtOvErS lmfao. Like i like leftovers but nobody else in this house does hahaha

I quite like the leftovers. Would be great if it was cheaper. Would love a box for one. My husband doesn't like veges so I end up with a lot of food. A box for me would be ideal.

Hahaha same with mine, tabu!. His mother made him eat them to the point of throwing up (v religious house, not allowed to leave the table til he finished food etc) so everything has been ruined haha

you changing jobs Macs?

yeah guys and vegies, there are def guys who eat them but i reckon guys are more likely to be one extreme or the other, either vegan or won't touch them.

i could live without meat, personally, but not vegies.... then again, i'm pretty much flexitarian (I eat chicken, ham, bacon and pork, but absolutely no seafood and as of about a year ago i don't eat red meat either.)

Hey Trudi,

I'm not changing jobs but promoted in my job recently to Supervisor. I'll be opening store every Sunday morning .

Funny how I was worried a couple of months ago about being made redundant. There was a few people who were. I feel lucky to still have a job.

I had a bowl of oven fries and two hours of sleep, then 6 mndarins. I really wanted KFC but I'm  too tired to drive there. The mandarins were fabulous.

Oven fries sound good and homey and perfect for this rainy weather.

Had dinner at a colleague of husband's house last night. Thai satay chicken salad, different but good. Not what i would normally eat but a good experience. Havent had a social meal gathering since February. Its nice to be out again.

Another miserable day so doing some kitchen things. Garlic, herb and cheese loaf baking in the breadmaker and a roast pork going on soon to slow cook. Got some over ripe bananas so maybe a cake or muffins with those.
