finally got my hands on a glamglow supermud clearing mask to try, and the timings perfect as I’ve been eating junk all weekend. Was super excited, put it on my face and... had to wash it straight off as it felt all burny :”( wasn’t about to risk a reaction so got it off my face ASAP.

anyway, I’m whinging because I was so excited and ... nope. Blah

It has mandelic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid and glycolic acid in it. I remember trying it a long time ago and it did a good job but I think for the price of a tub, I could get a good peel and a decent mud mask for less.

Yeah it’s pricey so I was stoked to get a deluxe sample in my bday gift from Sephora in Hawaii... lots of acids, makes a lil more sense now but still, sad face. I’ll gift it on :)

That is sucky! I get burny face often so have to be careful. Do you react to things normally?

Not normally Lisa! Breakouts occasionally, but usually my skins pretty happy to take anything on. That’s why as soon as this got hot I was like.... no! Abort mission!

Oh wow, I didn't know you could claim your birthday gift in a Sephora overseas! Lucky you they have the better birthday gifts there.

S: that's not a problem, you can use the points online
T: okay then, thanks!
S: by the way, when is your birthday?
T: oh it's been, it was in February
S: oh that means we missed it, would you like to claim your birthday gift now?
T: ................. um yes please
S: you can choose from this Bite kit or thie Glamglow one (and the Glamglow one includes one of my fave things atm)
T: Glamglow please!

Wow that’s super cool, and a great birthday gift policy. I do agree that glam glow is a bit overrated due to all the hype it gets since it’s so expensive too.

Sounds like great customer service. The ones I went to in New York definitely weren't like that.
