I was plagued with what we called the "anti-Midas touch" with electrical items when I was a teenager and it seems to have come back lol. I probably do have gremlins in this house too.

OK buckle up for stove story...so....
Stove stopped working on Saturday night just as I go to cook dinner. Tried turning on and off several times but it's as dead as a dodo. I’d already had two ciders so couldn’t get take out (no Uber eats here!) and the last of my meals from this weeks food bag couldn't be microwaved. Use emergency camp stove which doesn’t have enough gas left in it. Tell my sad story in the chat room for the DJ stream I'm on on twitch (the chat often is about food). DJ in LA says “don’t you have a grill? Like a George Forman grill?”  Yes! Yes I do! Where is it? Search through random items in cupboard and eventually find the George I've neglected for about ten years and give it a damn good clean. It works! Remember how brilliant Greoge's are and vow to use more often. Marvel at how a DJ in LA just saved my dinner for me. Cue song: "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life".

Finish delicious dinner and decide to check if stove is still not working. Switch on stove and it all works fine.

End of stove story.  Also stocked up on gas canisters for emergency cooker whilst I was in the warehouse today. They ony do packs of four so I'm all good to go now for next time. Lol.

Not purchased but was gifted a lil care package from sister. Skincare, handcreams, facial wipes and a chocolate giftset. Super thoughtful and well timed. The last couple of weeks have been a bit emotionally turbulent. A bit of unexpected light in my day. Appreciated.

Yeah i tried water the first time i used it, it made them cleaner but nothing flash. I dunno if i can use just regular dishwash but meh may give it a go with less expensive jewellery lmao

Ill check and see if the jewellers sell solution too, thanks!

Did a little clothes haul, needed some warmer clothing. Got some replacement beauty products. Why is it that I run out of everything at once? Atleast I get to try some new items.

Agreed lilmonmon and I still got to get some more items this week.

Has it been used yet used yet Shaz? Or is it a good clothes hanger lol

Unfortunately no helicopter payment in the end, still would have been nice. I'll settle for a tax refund though.

@Shaz, is this what you're looking for? It's a 2 litre bottle of ultrasonic jewellery cleaning concentrate (the only one I could find online).

You could try contacting a Jaycar store, as they sell ultrasonic jewellery cleaners and might sell or know of where you could get the relevant cleaning liquid from.

I saw that price and thought "That's crazy!", but couldn't see any smaller bottles on their website.

I think your only other option would be ordering from Amazon, they have a few ultrasonic cleaner solutions listed on there.

Allll the nut butters. I have two forty thieves ones atm -an Almond one and their salted macadamia with maple and vanilla. My pb  of choice is Fix and Fogg.

Pics I only buy in the wee slugs bc it does dry out faster in my experience.

The Mother Earth brand one is really good and a bit cheaper. I also really like the cocomanuts ones that have coconut blended into the Pb

I do eat peanut butter straight off the spoon! If I'm hungry but not ready to cook dinner, I find a couple of teaspoons will stave off the hunger pains. Fix and Fogg Everything Butter is my fave. That macadamia one sounds insane, Trudi!

I liked the Whittaker's peanut butter and jelly chocolate, even though it's milk chocolate. I ate the two different parts separately as I found the pb over powered the jelly flavour when eaten together. I'm resisting the temptation to buy another bar!

The Mac butter is stunnnnnnnning. It's salty sweet  and really thin so although it's not cheap you only need a wee bit. Love it.

I like the F&F fruit toast one too
