Well I'm just debating by another By Terry eyeshadow stick set even though I have one on the way already lol. I've found the set of three for chaeaper than what Mecca sells them for individually.

Ok they just tried to charge me £20 even though it said it was free in the FAQ. So I'll just stick to the one that's on its way lol.

Did some click and collect pick up for my husband. A water blaster and weed eater. Have to say the sales are decent, the staff accommodating despite the humidity and amount of people out and about.

Picked up a couple things from my sister's small business. Supporting local, lol :)

I'm looking at buying a bigger car. Anyone got an Outlander or an Xtrail? If so do you love it lol they are the 2 at the top of my list. Need something to chuck the dog in the boot and room for baby and stroller etc.

I’ve ended up buying some stuff at Mecca as well. Kinda excited as I haven’t bought new different make up in ages.

I have an outlander - we love it. Big enough for car seat, pram etc. we bought it mainly for road trips and stuff cause we can fit so much in it.

One thing I need to buy is a dress to wear to a wedding in January that is breastfeeding friendly. Anyone have any recommendations?

Still have some Christmas shopping to do. But the stuff that needs to be posted has been sorted so that is a win.

Kirsty have a look at rock your bump. The other places I have purchased from are milk bar, breastmates, cadenshae and hotmilk but the last 2 might just be nursing bras. I find it so hard finding nice breastfeeding clothing!

I had a lumbar injury around November so some of the money I had set aside for Black Friday went towards medical costs sadly. But I'm lucky I could afford to cover my medical expenses. I did a couple iHerb hauls to replenish stock, a Deciem order, Healthpost order to stock up on a staple, I bought a gift card from Mecca to get the deluxe sample box, stocked up a couple Good Molecules staples from Beautylish and earlier in November I stocked up on cartridges for a Dr Pen I want get at some point.

Some goodies arrived today for my dog lol I got him a doggy wash bar it smells so good so I can't wait to give him a good clean! Plus a new harness since he can do a Houdini out of his current one so I'm left walking around with just the harness while he does zoomies up and down the Street.....omg not a good look lol.

How's everyone going with the new rules? I used my vax passport for the first time today. It was effortless but it still puts me off going out.

They mucked mine up so I'm still waiting for my pass. I'm not going anywhere as we have a small outbreak here now and I'm not risking anything. I do everything I can online. Have got bubs 3 month jabs on the 13th so I will have to venture out then.

I went and got my brows done, so needed my vaccine pass for the first time.

I go to the benefit brow bar, inside a mall department store, so went to a mall for the first time since August.

It went okay.

i went to Mecca but didn't buy anything as they didn't have what I went in for. The Mecca lovely said that you have to scan your vaccine pass to use testers or to take your mask off eg to smell perfumes, otherwise the tracer app scan is enough.

i also went to farmers and got nails, whitcoulls for the new Sophie kinsella book and popped into Pagani. I tried to restrict the number of stores (helped that Sephora was closed)

I was super out of sorts when I got home, I felt okay at the time but I think my brain found it a bit overwhelming once it was over. Had a nap and feeling better.

I've been involved in organising our Auckland Xmas party for work and I want to enjoy it so I'm building up my 'outside world' exposure.

auckland is weird at the moment. But this too shall pass

Oh well, that gives you time to take a breath Lisa.

Good for you Trudi. Its not easy. I don't like being outside of home anymore. I'm noticing the people around me are really struggling with their mental health, especially some of the young ones. It scares me what people are going through. I hope you are all safe and able to live as well as possible. It must be especially difficult to suddenly be released from lockdown and into this weird world of vaccine passes and varying rules!

It's those refusing to be vaccinated that cause me the most stress tbh.

the protest in Auckland today was outside the mall I was at. I found out later and hadn't been out on the street but the entitled selfishness of those protesting a lack of freedom while refusing to do their part frustrates me so much.

We did 107 days up here, a snap lockdown followed by 107 days just to be able to enter a world that doesn't look like what it used to. Masks. Sanitiser. Scanning. Passports. And underneath it all is a constant trickle of fear.

This pandemic is to blame, not those making the decisions, but it's still mind blowing.

I haven't ventured out much except for fast food drive thru and the supermarket. I don't like wearing masks even though it's necessary, so just chilling at home.

I am going to try and get my brows done next week, though not looking forward to the mall. Have a hair appointment booked for January. Dental appointment booked next week. Wanted to book a check up appointment for the vet but not sure if we are allowed on-site or still have to wait outside. Need to check on that.

I got one of those hair wavers, basically like an old school crimper but it does beachy waves.

Aboutface... I know, right? Not being able to get it cut since July due to lockdown really had an impact! I have a haircut booked for sat but I won't take much off the length, just a trim and shape I think

It looks good Trudi and so shiny! I've seen the beachy waves tool and it's so big I imagine I would burn myself too lol. I've got total mum hair at the moment because she keeps grabbing onto it and trying to pry her tiny hands open is impossible haha....the bonus is it takes me about 5 seconds to do it everyday.

haha yeah lisa i burned myself again today - lesson is to focus when i'm using it and to actually do it in front of the mirror, not in front of the giant morning coffee lol

haha best reason ever for messy hair, having little hands grab it!

No, but I'm using Fab Iron and I think its the same. It's the same taste as the stuff I had to have when I was a child. It seems to be working.

I'm also eating pumpkin seeds, raisons, dried apricots and strawberries every day, plus spinach and greens. I rarely eat meat or dairy so it's all the vegan iron options.

Bhahahahaha omg I nearly choked on my drink! I am apparently a good cow lmao. But I won't say no to popcorn! I've never tried brewers yeast but I always see people say they sprinkle it on things. What does it taste like?

The strawberries are just for show because I grow tons of them, but the pumpkin seeds, raisons and dried apricots are really good. Also dates. I read somewhere that you should eat 2 dates every day. A doco I watched said that if you drink camels milk and eat dates, you'll never need to eat anything else for perfect health (I haven't seen a lot of camel milk around these parts tho!). I'm going to have my 2 dates and a teaspoon of honey right now!

Lmao camels milk! I don't mind dates they are yummy. I actually blitz them up in my smoothies. Been feeling a bit cruddy so just trying to get myself sorted and my iron levels were 12 last time I got tested so pretty low.
